1 Prologue

"Granny,Granny,can you tell me a story?" pleaded a little girl with deep brown hair hurriedly tied into plaits.

"Of course dear, what story would you like?"replied the old woman.

"The one about the two deals"

"We read that last night, what about something different, how about the story about the witches?", the little girl shook her head .

"oh alright!

Well a long time ago 2 women made 2 different deals. The first one asked the angels to save her unborn grandchild but they refused,saying she wasn't the one. Filled with rage, she turned to the devil who gladly accepted. Although like all deals with the devil, there was a catch.the devil decreed that when the child turns 14 they would become his right hand man. Fight for him till they were killed.become his weapon. She agreed.after all it was the demon of lust she was dealing with, one of the 7 princes of hell." the grandmother stated

"that woman was very stupid wasn't she?"

"yes, yes she was..." the grandmother stared into space for a while

"What about the other woman?" the child asked interrupting her staring

"I was just getting there dear. At the same time, in another world, the second woman begged the gods to save her child that would die when they were born. In reply to her pleads they sent the angel Gabriel,the archangel of strength, to warn her. The angel said : 'if you agree to this your child will live but will be sent away at the age of 1 to earth where you will never see them again but they will be the saviour of that planet.' only thinking of her child and what good they would do she accepted the deal. A year later the child, a boy called Theo, was sent to earth just about the same time the other child was born. A little girl called..." she paused

"Called what granny?"

"Nevermind... on with the story! ", the little girl was a little disappointed but listened eagerly,"When the girl turns 14,or if she finds out about it before, her powers will awaken and then will be called to serve, train forevermore to fight and kill for the devil as his most prized lieutenant. As for the boy he will protect earth from those demons till death takes him from these lands."

"How does it end granny?"

"Oh you always ask that question deary and I always say the same thing..."

"It hasn't ended yet it has only started. I know, I know. It's just every good story has an ending. Name one that doesn't?"

"Oh someones feisty. But don't worry you will find out the ending soon enough..."

That was nearly 7 years ago. I was five, I didn't know how much was true of that story until I couldn't ask anymore...
