Bella P.O.V.

As soon as I returned home I called Volterra. They picked up immediately.

"You'll never guess my luck! It seems I attract vampires wherever I go. Forks High has five vegetarian vampires attending it." I told them after our coustomary greetings.

"The Cullens?" They all guessed questioningly.

"Yep!" I chirped, popping the p.

I could see the way Uncle Aro's face contorted at my words. "Be careful Bella. In no way can they know of your gifts or your connections to us," his warning was tinged with concern.

I rolled my eyes and sighed before speaking again, "I know Uncle Aro. Believe me I know." I would have to be more careful than ever before. A challenge for me since I attracted danger like a magnet.

I tried to lighten the mood, "On the other hand, you will never guess who my first friend was."

None of them had a clue so I told them who it was.

We were about to hang up when I remembered what happened in cooking today. "Uncle Aro I do have one concern though. Edward Cullen seemed to do just fine around all the other students but his eyes went black when my scent hit him."

His answer was immediate, "We are coming to Forks or at least sending your guards." His voice was steel. I heard the agreement of uncles Marcus and Caius.

I was outraged at this they all knew I could take care of myself. They had known me since I was three. "Uncle Aro! I can't believe that you would suggest that or that Uncles Marcus and Caius would agree! Wouldn't it be suspicious if even just Jane and Demetri came. Two new vampires in Forks just seeming to shadow me. Carlisle will probably recognize them to and wonder what the the Volturi would want with me. Besides I won't let Jane and Demetri hunt here so they can't come."

They complied and we hung up.

Alice P.O.V.

As soon as I arrived home I went to speak with Carlisle.

As I came in the door I called, "Carlisle!" The tone I used showed how urgent it was.

I ran into his office and he came in behind me, shutting the door.

His face was creased with worry, "What is it Alice?" he asked. I only spoke with him like this when I had to.

"I saw something today," I paused, not knowing how to say this, "The new girl, Isabella Swan is Edward's singer but that isn't the weirdest part, when I saw that I felt so protective and possessive over her."

His face lightened, "We will certainly have to be careful but I believe she is your mate."

We finished up our conversation quickly and I went to my room to process what just happened. I couldn't believe that I had truly found my mate in such a beautiful girl. I would have to shake her hand tomorrow all mates felt an electric current upon touching skin for the first time.
