16 The Rooks of the Manor

"Cherry, you can't be serious about escaping?" Asked Caren clearly worried for me

I fail to grasp the full extent of her worry, I after all had been assigned to an ordeal that I will be forced to take on. "I'm Being forced to marriage tonight, I just won't accept it su!" I don't hold back my voice.

Caren whispered In a silent volume "Quiet!" Caren stood up and closed the door, a minute later foot steps of two men clad in armor passed by.

I quickly realize the full length of the scenario, with my rebelling word has already spread to the guards, the patrolling guards outside walls and god knows how much more, I look down and curl up to the wall wondering if it even is possible to escape at this point.

Blueberry then walked up to me "Big sis are you okay?" She asked me a pure and simple question, as the older sister I have to respond as if I'm okay.

"Yes I'm fine" A response fitting my chain of thoughts, this lets me calm down which breaks the hopelessness from earlier and gives me a clearer mind had I not gotten a sister then I'm sure I'd already be stuck in madness.

Caren then moved a desk away revealing an unevenly painted section of the wall she pushes it and it makes way for a stair way headed down "Hurry this is the way out" She whispered.

I look up at surprise never knowing that this section of the house existed, blueberry then gave me her hand and helped pull me up "Go big sis, I'll hold off the guards after all I'm supposed to be asleep" She smiled and tilted her head

That honestly seemed like a permanent farewell but even then its still sad "Sheesh, start with the sleeping part next time" I kiss her in the forehead and I run to the stairs "I'll come back for you with help I promise!"

I go to the entrance, "Sorry Cherry, I have to stay with blueberry I hope you find your way out" Caren pulls the desk back closing the way to the passages.

Then in the area heard were the noises of Guards entering the area I quickly turn and hurry my way down. In the area I uncover the many secrets of the Manor that I don't think even my father is aware of, but one thing for sure it smelled awful I needed a way out of this mess so I kept running around endlessly until I encountered a noise just outside which was exactly what I am looking for.

It were raining heavily the skies above me were covered with gray clouds and the atmosphere looked grim, my foot sunk into every mud around me and as I turn to look up I can see the very home I despised how it really looks small from the distance.

One of the scouts encountered me on the way out and alarmed the rest, "Oh no su" I turned around and immediately ran the opposite way, "Surely they can catch up to me I need to hide somewhere su" I did as I said out loud and I looked for a place to hide. Finding a small crevice I sneaked my way inside there and hid from inside the area.

Time passes and the Guards fail to notice me I went out the crevice and began running again, I trip in a root well blended in at the mud but the landing does not go so well, I land to another of the tree's roots and winded up getting a wound on my leg ". Ow. ." I weakly said I were now bleeding if this keeps up I'll loose my strength I need to do something to fix it
