1 The Moonlight

'Run...Run..Run..'

I whispered to myself while running non stop after what happened at the school grounds.

It was horrible and terrifying, how can they do that?

I can't keep on running not for more hours but I can't stop here either or I will followed them to the land of dead.

No!

I panting on running for more than two hours and damn my leg gettng numb and shaking from running endlessly and fear that they might catch me and be kill.

"There she is, go get her!"

I heard loud voice at my back and follow their footstep towards me I didn't bother to look back and just keep on running.

'Shit!'

I murmured to myself when i fell down on the ground and I can't find more strength to stand and I'm really tired to do run again.

'Is this my time?'

I voice out in my head while I'm laying facing the ground and waiting for them to approach and kill me.

"You have the guts, kid."

The man said and more footstep we're came and I don't have the strenght to stand up and face them at all.

I don't want to be dead but my end came here and it will pick me up now.

I closed my eyes tightly and ready for my death but one of them speak that caught my mind and I don't understand what was he saying.

"So, she was the girl who in the prophecy?"

'Prophecy?'

"Oh,The girl who will bring the downfall for the Count's Famiglia?"

"That's right but that wouldn't never happen, we will kill her here and now."

And they all laughed like that was the funniest joke they're hear in they're entire life.

Just what their talking about?

I don't get it?

I just came from a normal and simple family, so why they....

"Shut up!"

And they fell in silence after hearing that loud and deep voice maybe that was they leader or so.

But the point here is... Im not the person they're talking about from what that 'prophecy' says.

"Uhm.. maybe you guys just missed identity. Im just a normal teenager yo..."

"Shut up!"

I abruptly speak when he shout again and this time he glared at me and I saw how he change his eyes to red. I felt scared and crawl backward and I felt stinged in my ankle and it hurts.

'Damn! Seriously? At this moment?'

My clumsiness didn't fail to get me hurt. tsk.

When I looked up on my leg its bleeding down on my ankle for not a small scratch and that was really hurt.

I looked up when I heard they're voice like their a roaring lion who saw a prey for they're meal.

And all of their eyes was change into red, red like a blood like the moon shine at this night.

What the fvck is happening here?

This is my day of graduation and supposed to be happy day for me but that's not what happened right now.

My family was killed and all people in the academy murdered by this murderous creatures and now I'll be they're dead meat and I don't have the strength now to escape with this damn situation.

I just crawled backward when they started to move across my direction.

'Shit!'

I hissed when my injured in my leg stinged again.

And I damn scared for what would be they done to me right now.

No one can hear nor help me in this area wherein full of grass, far from city and no one will go here unless they are stupid.

How I wish someone stupid will stray here and help me.

My heart beat faster for the nervous and feared I felt right now and they moving forward faster than usual human.

The heck!?

One of them jump on my direction ready to bite me so as my instinct I just closed my eyes and waiting for my end.

But a few minutes later I don't feel hurt, I don't feel anything that was a sign that they didn't hurt me instead I heard them screaming in pain.

'What's happening?'

I asked myself and got curious on what's happening?

And when I open my eyes I saw one of the guy who chased me was in pain while his comrade are gone, I don't see them anywhere. And a man who suddenly show up wearing a hood was lift he up and blankly stared at him before he ripped his neck and that guy was turn into a dust in the air.

My eyes got widened and my mouth hang open for what I been witnessing here infront of me!!?

'Just what the hell happened today?'

After few moment where I'm got in my shocked but still sitting on the ground, I looked up at the guy who hepled me or I guess he was actually help me right?

Right?

Or he's one them?

'What a such unlucky person am I??'

He was look at me intenly and I got feel scared with his stares.

His eyes was like them, it was red like a blood.

I felt shivered down at my back.

Even the moon was red like a night were full of bloods.

I suddenly crawled backward when he move forward at me. What he gonna do to me?

I saw glintch of shock in his eyes but then it's gone as fast as he move closer to me.

'Damn, even I don't heart disease after what i saw maybe I got one now.'

I got stiffened my back to felt his breath in my back of my ear and it's cold like the breeze of the night.

Is he really helped me or...

Is he going to kill me?

"Mi Luna..."

He said and after that I felt dizzy any moment I will swallowed by darkness.

"You're safe now."

After that everything went black and I don't know suddenly all my fear vanished and feel secured in his arms when I fell on him.
