35 The Red Pendant

Nina is dressed in a soft lavender color gown, matching her temper. Looking at her, everyone astonished, thinking how come the legendary singer is relatives with Romina.

The Guest who asked the question looked awkward and immediately shut her mouth.

One of the press members said, "Mrs. Nina, you may not know much about Miss. Romina Mary here, but she is a public figure in Winden city because of her charity work.

The citizens here respect her a lot, and youngsters feel like she is an idol. Now she has been lying to us all these years. Isn't it wrong..?"

Listening to this, Mr. Knight's family looked at each other. Raphel started doubting his family member well aware of his father and sister's nature.

Mr. Knight immediately texted someone; when he got a reply, he is relieved and smirked smugly at his daughter and wife. Shaking his head, Raphel focused on the event.

After they announced Easton's and Rome's real identity Margery presented the photographs of someone tailing them behind on the day they went to the picnic.

They wanted to make it spicier before releasing, but Nina signaled them to finish the party as soon as possible.

Some of the guests who didn't believe those pictures said, "Mrs. Romina, how can we trust you just with the photographs..?

You are the sole owner of St. Mary's, so someone might drag you in this mess to gain your position."

Easton shaking his head, replied, "as you said, there will be no result even if someone did this to gain the property as if she is involved in something illegal, all the property would be going to the trust."

Luther finally concluded, "since it's my family who is involved in something scandalous like this, I would like to take legal action against them."

He immediately asked Rome to present the evidence through a projector. It seemed they are well prepared.

The projector in the middle of the stage displayed the photographs of someone who clicked them.

The someone is the driver of Mr. Knight's family; all the guests astonished looking at the video where the young MissMiss of the Knight's family, Sassy, ordering him to tail behind Romina's family.

Everyone looked at Mr. Knight's family as they were looking at criminals. Mr. Knight cooly replied, "what are you people believing it..? He is not our driver now; we have already dismissed him."

All the guests looked back at Romina's family. Luther got irritated, and he directly called the police to submit all the evidence along with the driver."

Romina's family thanked all the guests for attending their party and asked them to have dinner banquet except Mr. Knight's family.

The police reached st. Mary's mansion in 10 minutes and arrested both the driver and Sassy. Mr. Knight ruthlessly sold his daughter manipulating her by saying,

"Darling, you have to suffer this time for the family. I will bail you tomorrow morning in the first hour. If any one of us will go, you will not be able to act accordingly."

Her mother also persuaded her, and they agreed on making her a scapegoat. Sassy got even more hatred than before on Carla.

After finishing this drama and dinner, Easton and Rome sent away the guests.

Once everyone reached the study room, Nina asked, "Luther, is Carla gained consciousness..?"

Margery replied, "no, sister-in-law, she is still asleep. The royal physician told to give nutrition food in the form of liquids."

William said thoughtfully, "Luther listen to me carefully; our son Jacob finds a pendant days ago while investigating the rouge attack.

Nina added, further taking the pendant out of her clutch, "this is that pendant. All of you remember whose pendant is this..?"

Margery and Adaline gasped, looking at the pendant and were frozen. Easton looked at carefully while Rome answered,

"This pendant belongs to the first young mistress, wife of the first young master."

Listening to his voice, Adaline woke up from her stupor and replied, taking the locket into her hands, "I was there when young Miss presented with this pendant from her parents.

This pendant is one of their family's possession.

Margery then continued, " yes, this was presented to the little sister when she became the heir of our community.
