Kaori just shrugged.

The Royal Council representative then dropped five white royal crowns into Kaori's right palm. There was a time when seeing this amount of money would have made her eyes bulge out of their sockets. Right now, though, she just took the money, pocketed it, nodded to the Royal Council's vessel, and turned away from them.

"I wanted to take another mission."

"Ah," Talo smiled. "Which one?"
