Chapter 2

As I woke up I heard many voices.

"Who is she?"

"She's beautiful"

"What is she"

" quiet down she is waking up."

"Where am I?" I said as I tried to stand up. As I saw my surroundings I started to remember the events that happened a few hours ago.

"Oh my god! You're not human!" I shouted

" Sophie, you need to calm down or you're going to faint again." Andrew said.

"How do you know my name?! I never told you!"

"We have some explaining to do." A woman who looks to be in her 30's with greying brown hair and blue eyes wearing a suit said.

"Damn right you do! This is basically kidnapping, is this some sort of twisted joke?!" I ask feeling extremely confused.

" I can assure you this is not a prank, you are in moonlight academy, a school for supernaturals and I am headmistress Ember." She said sternly and in a monotone voice.

"Why am I here? Are you gonna kill me because I saw Andrew doing whatever that was with the lights? Because if that's why I'm here I won't tell anyone I promise." I knew I should have just ran at the time.

"Umm, Sophie? You're the one who did that with the rays." Andrew said softly.

"Ok, now that we have established why you are here let's try to find out what you are and how you were able to do that."

" Wait, you still didn't tell me how you knew my name."

"Andrew made an identification spell while you were asleep."

"So Andrews a witch?"

"He is something close to it but we can discuss Andrew's abilities later. We are running out of time and we need to figure out what you are."

" What do you mean what I am? I am human!"

"Andrew show her the video."

Andrew took out his phone from his pocket and played a video of me but the weird thing is that I was floating and my eyes were glowing and black and white lights were coming out of me.

"Ok so how do we figure out what I am?"

"You're taking this a lot better than i did. I thought the room was gonna blow up or something." Said the boy who I think was Daniel.

"What did you do?"

" Oh I accidentally created a hurricane."

"Who and what are you?"

" Where are my manners. I am Daniel Alistar, I am a demon and this grumps my best friend and roommate Dylan he's vampire/werewolf hybrid ." He said pointing to the guy who is still drenched in paint.

"Children we are getting out of topic!" Headmistress Ember shouted effectively shutting us up.

"Oh right how do we figure out what I am?"

" We are going to get a vampire to drink your blood so that he can see what you are."

"Huh?" I asked confused.

"Vampires can taste what type of creature you are." Dylan said vaguely.

"Ok so who's the vampire?"

" Dylan." The headmistress said looking at Dylan who looked like he didn't expect that answer.

"Why doesn't Andrew do it? He has more control than I do.

" He used too much magic today and if he drink her blood he may not be able to stop." Was the headmistress's response.

"Wait I thought Andrew was a witch?" I said confused by the whole conversation.

" I'm a hybrid" Andrew said.

"Oh ok"

"Enough with the questions I wanna find out who's going to mentor her." Daniel said.

"Huh?"

" We'll explain later."

" Ok, Dylan you may start." Headmistress Ember stated.

Without warning Dylan came forward, his eyes turned blood red and he suddenly had fangs, he took my arm and bit it. The pain was so intense I couldn't help but scream.

After what felt like hours but was probably only 2 minutes Dylan let go of my arm.

"Ok so what am i?" I said my voice still hoarse from all the screaming.

"I don't know. There's a mixture of many things like angel, demon, werewolf and a bit of vampire almost as if you just begun transitioning."

" How is that possible?" Daniel asked.

" I don't know. I have a theory but I'm not sure if it. Sophie who are your parents?" The headmistress asked me.

" I've never met my real parents, I don't know what happened to them. The owners of the orphanage I was found in just said that I was found in a basket outside of the orphanage with my pendant." I said.

" Do you have it with you?"

"Yes." I said and then showed her my pendant.

Sophie's pendant:

" oh my god" The headmistress breathed out.

"What's wrong." I asked.

" That pendant was owned by my sister. She was taken to experiment on after that great storm where everyone got their powers. We thought she was dead. She must have found a way to sneak you out before the escape."

"Huh?"

"Oh right you didn't study this, don't worry your mentor will explain everything to you."

" Oh, ok so you're my aunt?"

"Yes"

" as much as I hate to interrupt this reunion I think we need to talk about her transition." Dylan said.

" what is a transition?"

" it is the process into turning into a vampire."

" How did I begin transitioning?"

" I think someone has been giving you vampire blood and then compelling you to forget."

" what is the whole process?"

" Well first you drink vampire blood which you have already done and then you get killed and then you drink human blood it's simple."

" what happens if I don't die?"

" Then your body will try to remove the blood and will slowly kill you except this time you won't come back to life."

" When do we start?" I asked afraid of dying.

"Now" Then all of a sudden he's in front of me and then darkness consumes me.
