Moonlight academy

"Pleasee" my 'best friend' Emily shouts from the sofa. Honestly she's the only friend I have right now so there's nothing I can do about it.

I just moved here 2 months ago with my new adoptive parents and of course no one wanted to talk to the new girl except for Emily and I guess she's not that bad except for the fact that she's super controlling.

"But I don't wanna goooo." Is my oh so amazing response.

Right now we are both at my house doing our homework while Emily is trying to convince me to go to Carter's, a super popular guy aka Emily's good friend's party. But the party scene just isn't my thing. And Emily's probably gonna abandon me 30 minutes into the party to hang out with Carter's friends. Emily is super popular the complete opposite of me.

"But everyone's going, and Jackson said I can only go if you go." Of course that's the only reason why she wants me to go.

Jackson is Emily's twin brother. But although they are twins they are complete opposites. Emily looks a bit like me with the same blonde hair but while I have green eyes she has brown ones and Jackson has light brown hair with electric blue eyes.

Jackson is also super smart and super chill the opposite of Emily. While me and Emily study at the public school Jackson studies at some super expensive private school in the middle of nowhere because of his scholarship. Right now Emily's parents are in vacation in Hawaii so Jackson is in charge.

"Fine but you owe me and you better not leave me alone." Honestly there's no point in arguing with her. She was just gonna annoy me until I accepted.

The next two hours consisted of me and Emily getting ready. I left my hair in my normal curls and wore shorts and a tank top with no makeup and Emily straightened her hair and wore a pink dress with lots of accessories and makeup

I went to the party alone since Emily said she wanted to meet me there. And I have been waiting here for about 30 minutes for her.

And to top it off my head is killing me. I can't even drive home because I came with a taxi and it's gonna be impossible to find a taxi at this hour.

So I tried calling Jackson and Emily but their numbers are just switched off so it just went to voice mail. " hey this is Emily's phone if you have a message just leave it after the beep" *beep*

"Hey Em I'm not feeling well and I can't find you so I'm just gonna walk to home." I just hope my parents are asleep.

I've been walking for about 20 minutes and I'm pretty sure that I'm lost. And the weather sure isn't helping. I knew I shouldn't have worn shorts.

As I'm walking I see a park so I decide to sit down and try to call Emily or Jackson again. But alas their phones are still switched off.

As I'm about to stand up a group of guys who look like their in their 30's come walking into the park holding a boy about my age.

The boy has black hair and green eyes and is badly beaten up.

I did the reasonable thing and hid. I tried to take out my phone to call the police but just ended up dropping it. As I was trying to find my phone I accidentally stepped on a twig and there was a crunching sound. In a second all of their heads were pointed at me.

"Get her!" Yelled one of the men.

As I was trying to run someone grabbed my hair and pushed me to the ground.

" Help!" I scram.

"Shut up." The guy said and was about to hit me when all of a sudden a hand appeared and stopped him.

It was the boy which was being dragged by the men. He started hitting the men when one of them pointed a gun at his head. He was about to pull the trigger when suddenly black and white rays hit the men in their chest.

"I got you." mixed with the screams of agony of the men was all I heard as I was slowly losing consciousness carried by the arms of the boys who saved me.

I woke up with a splitting head ache. The first thing I saw was the boy who saved asleep on a chair beside the bed.

I tried standing up to find out where I am but I just ended up tripping and falling on top of the boy.

"It's a little to soon to be falling for me already don't you think." Is all he said.

"Ok i've got three things to say , number 1 I don't even know you, number 2 you seriously just woke up and that's all you say? And number 3 where am I and who are you?"

" number 1 you are gonna get to know me and then don't worry you are gonna be head over heels for me. Number 2 duhh it's part of my amazing personality to say stuff like that. And number 3 you are in moonlight academy and I am Andrew Grey your humble savior."

"Wow cocky much. And why did you bring me here?"

" It's a special school for people like us. And by the way just a friendly tip you need to work on covering your magic I could smell you a mile a way."

" what do you mean special people I am nothing close to special and what do you mean by magic is this some sort of prank?"

"Ohh you don't know! I need to get the headmistress wait here."

" uhh ok" is all I said before he left.

About 2 minutes later the door opened again.

"You were qui... you're not Andrew." A boy about my age came running in and hid behind the door. He had blonde hair with blond tips and light blue eyes.

"As much as I would love to introduce myself to a pretty girl like you hide me!" Is all he said.

"Daniel! Where are you?!" Said a strong voice from outside the door. And then another boy about my age with brown hair and dark brown eyes with a black leather jacket, black shirt, and black pants pants came barging in the door drenched in pink paint.

And then all of a sudden the first boy who's name I assume is Daniel started floating out the door while his eyes were glowing with white lights, while the other boy was busy searching the room.

And that ladies and gentlemen is how i fainted again.
