1 Prologue

Legends tell of gods who seek to save the weak and punish the evil. Myths speak of gods who forgive those who repent.

Sadly, the true gods of this world are far crueler. They fight and squabble, the lives of mortals their ammunition. They use humans as their fodder in their otherworldly battles.

The humans they choose to fight for them are the Magi - kings and warriors, hunters and gladiators. In exchange for servitude, the Magi receive power greater than most humans can imagine.

The gift of life.

The power of words.

These were the three powers granted to the Reyes Magi - the blessed with the power to rule the world. And, like all powerful beings, the Reyes Magi soon came to blows.

This is the story of the three kingdoms of the Magi and the man who ended their war.
