9 9: Acquaintance

Luna's POV

Lucas went to his work again and Lewis went to his school meanwhile I'm here alone in the garden watching the butterflies work.

"Young miss, Mr.Lucas is going home late today and Little master Lewis is going home early because they only have half a day of class." Kindred reported.

"Oh, then we should do something productive today." I said and got up my seat.

"What would you like to do, young miss?" Kindred asked still looking in the ground.

"Kindred! from now on, You will look up to me when talking. You will also consider yourself as my equal, afterall by the law we are sisters." I said and started to walk to go inside the mansion.

Kindred was dumbfounded but I am too embarrassed to face her so I just continued walking

When I got up my room I immediately changed to a pale lavender dress and wore a light make up.

I called for kindred and she immediately came to me.

"Kindred, am I on bad terms on all of Lucas's family members?" I secretly asked her.

"Well, not exactly missy, Although madame Elizabeth (Lucas's mom) is angry at you they do not hate you. In fact no one dared to hate you because you are Mr.Ashford's wife. It is just that They favor Ms.Gizel Qin more than you. That Gizel looks pitiful maybe that is why they always take her side." Kindred said with a trace of anger in her voice.

"Hmm, That's just it? How can I retaliate then? I need to create bonds with someone somehow or I'll just be bullied forever." I whined

"Don't worry missy, I remember Madame Marrionette, The grandma of Mr.Lucas likes you very much. She is the one who proposed to marry you with Mr.Lucas! She will like you! And she would be your ally!" She excitedly said.

"Let's go there then!" I said and took my bag

Kindred immediately prepared the car and started driving.

"Oh, Let's go later I have to go buy gifts first." I said

-Coven Cake shop-

I saw this small cake shop before, despite being small they sold the most delicious cake shop in the world I think this is something that everybody can enjoy.

I bought one round cake and a small cake for 1 person so Lewis can eat it later when we meet.

I also decided to buy so tea to make tea for Madame Marrionette.

Before I knew it, it is almost time for Lewis to go out of school so I decided to go back to my car and pick him up to meet his great grandmother but I suddenly felt dizzy luckily I held into something before falling down.

Kindred helped me sit down to the cake shop to rest for a while

I asked kindred to pick up Lucas and I waited in the cake shop since it wasn't too far.

As I was waiting in the cake shop I heard an interesting conversation. It seems like they did not notice that I am here because it is almost time to close the cake shop and I am the only one left inside.

"Master, If only you did not offend the Gardners you would've been successful by now. Why did you chose to offend them?" The little girl asked.

The little girl seemed to be only 15 years old.

"How can I forgive the Gardners? They took my family's bussiness away and even killed my bestfriend Selene. Even if I had to live through hell. I would never forgive them." The familiar woman said.

"You just teached that Selene woman how to make a cake but they made your life miserable. I think it is not worth to hold on to someone who is already dead, Master." The little girl said again

I froze as I see the person speaking. It was my bestfriend Aria. She is my only bestfriend when I was Selene. I cannot believe that Liam could be so ruthless and even involve Miss Aria to my problem with him.

It seems like he won't be satisfied unless he killed all the people who are connected to me.

"Miss, Are you alright?" The little girl asked worriedly.

"You look pale." She said and handed a glass of water for me.

"Sorry. I just feel unwell." I said awkwardly.

"Please, Take a rest here for a while." The girl said and left the glass of water to my table.

"Can I please talk to your Master?" I asked. She immediately asked for her master and Aria immediately came to me.

"May I help you with something?" She asked with a smile.

"Certainly." I answered plainly.

It's been a while since I last saw her smile. I did not expect to see her smile again. but this time she is pretending.

"I came to talk to you about Selene."I said while looking serious at her.

She suddenly froze as if a million bullets hit her at once.

"How did you know about Selene?!" She annoyedly asked.

She looked at me with murderous eyes. As if she is a warrior ready to kill someone.

"I owe her something and I am going to fulfill her last request. I am also a friend of her. She told me to look for you because you can help me." I said and calmly drinked my water.

"I don't trust you. Please leave now!" She aggressively said and point in the door telling me to leave.

"Butterfly Magician." When I said those words she suddenly froze as if a million of emotions is flooding for the both of us.

Butterfly magician is the nickname I gave her. Only the both of us know it. Wether she will accept me again depends if she remembers our promise.

"Young miss!!" Kindred shouted from a distance.

I saw Lewis and Kindred together in a distance so I decided to get up to go to them.

"If you would like to trust me and join me fulfilling Selene's wish. Feel free to contact me." I said and left my bussiness card to the table.
