6 6:Creating bond
Luna's POV
Since Lewis insisted to bring his father with him I did not object. Although I feel uncomfortable with him, he seems like a nice guy and not someone I should be cautious about.
We went home to change and we finally went out to buy things.
Honestly, Lucas isn't so bad afterall. He even opened the car door for me. I sat beside the driver's seat and Lewis sat behind alone and Lucas is the one driving the car.
We went to the biggest supermarket in the city. Lewis is all excited. I couldn't help but smile.
We entered the clothe shop and picked some clothes for Lewis.
"This shirt may look good to you." Lucas said and picked up a very formal pair of clothes
I just facepalmed and watch them
"Look daddy! You picked a very bad one so mommy couldn't help but facepalm!"Lewis said annoyedly.
I got startled and was about to explain but Lucas is looking at me like a fool so I just sighed.
"Err-- Lewis emits the same aura as you and since winter is coming soon I think it is better that we pick something warm." I said and picked up some clothes.
"This brown turtleneck with this black suit and white pants would suit him well.. The winter is coming it is better to buy clothes that we can use through winter." I said and picked up the clothes I picked.
Lucas looked at me puzzled.
"Mommy you're so good at this!" Lewis said and hugged me I pinched his cheek because he is so cute
"Mommy since we are here, Why don't you buy something for daddy as well?" Lewis suggested in a very cute way.. how can I refuse?!
I look at Lucas he lifted his arms as if he welcomes me to do an experiment to him.
I just sighed and picked out some clothes for him
Come to think of it, He looks young and thin. He is very tall too. He has muscles but not that much. He is the perfect example of the perfect guy.
"Mommy don't hesitate to buy anything for daddy. He only have black and white clothes."Lewis teasingly said and giggled.
"Since you're tall I think brown trench coat and black turtleneck would go well to you." I said and picked it up. I also picked up black sweater with chain and white shirt to pair it with.
They tried the clothes I picked and surprisingly it really fit them well.
I am so proud of myself.
"Daddy what about mommy?" Lewis said and looked at me.
"Don't worry. I asked someone to make a special dress for you mommy." Lucas said and looked at me warmly.
Lucas paid the bill and we went to the supermarket to buy Ice cream just like how Lewis want it.
While Lucas and Lewis are buying Ice cream I felt a shiver. As if someone is watching us.
"Babe, Are you okay?" Lucas asked and put his arms around my waist
"I feel like we're being watched." I said uncomfortably.
"You're imagining it." He said and walked away with me.
The way he say it... it feels like he also knows it.
"Mommy, Daddy.. Let's go and play somewhere else." Lewis said and grabbed Lucas's hand.
Lucas held my hand as well.
We went to the parking lot and Lucas seemed to left something in the shop we just went to so he came back to pick it up.
A woman then suddenly popped up out of nowhere.
"May I ask who are you?" The girl asked. She look so innocent and pure but my instincts sends red signals to me.
"Uh, how can I help you?" I asked and tried to be cautious as possible.
"I am Yan Gina" The woman said with a smile.
She is so creepy but she looks innocent so I just smiled at her.
"I am brother Lucas's friend. Nice to meet you." She said with a smile but refused to extend her hand for a handshake so I refused as well.
Well it looks like I found the reason why she approached me.
She is doing exactly like what Rina did to me to steal Liam back then.
Basic woman. I hope I am wrong. She look very innocent and pure. Her face would be wasted
" As I am guessing, You are Lewis's maid right?" She said with a smile.
I just wanna punch her. I mean who would guess someone is a maid if she just see her once.
I was going to answer but I feel like it is not worth it and I saw Lucas in a distance so it's not good let him see me talk to someone I do not know.
"Let's go." Lucas said to me. She did not even noticed the woman I am talking to.
" Brother Lucas~"The girl called out sweetly.
"Huh? Who are you?"Lucas asked and looked at the girl coldly.
" I am Gina. Your friend." The girl said sweetly
"Oh, I don't have a friend named Gina, but I remembered you are someone from Yan Family?" Lucas answered and looked at me puzzled.
I also sent signals to him that I don't know her.
It feels like we are talking thru telepathy and Lucas is telling me "Then why are you talking to a stranger!"
"Where are you going, Brother Lucas?" The girl asked.
"We're going to play somewhere." Lucas plainly answered. It is obvious he is not interested with the conversation he is having
"I am going to the same direction as you! You should give me a ride." The girl said playfully still wearing her pure smile.
Lucas looked at me and waiting for me to say something.
" Well, since she is going the same way as us, we might as well give her a ride." I said, Trying to make things less awkward.
Lucas looked at me coldly as if I am going to get eaten with his black void eyes.
Lucas opened the car and got in the driver's seat.
I was about to sit next to Lucas but the Gina girl went right ahead first.
Andddd that's what I thought. Ofcourse she would get in there.
Lucas looked at me again and this time his eyes is angrier. As if he is telling me "Woman if you don't get rid of her I'll get rid of you."
I was about to speak but Gina spoke.
"Brother Lucas I easily get car sickness, I hope you don't mind me sitting here." She said with a flirty tone of voice.
Lucas is about to speak and I know if he speak he would say something improper and I really hate seeing someone taking away my seat so I spoke.
I hand signalled them to roll down the window and so they did.
"Oh, Young miss, That's too bad then. Lucas is a bad driver. I'm afraid you'll get car sickness." I said, trying to hold back my anger.
"We are going to a rocky road, I'm afraid you cannot take it."I said with a smile but my insides are telling me to grab her out of the car.
"Oh, As long as I sit here. I won't get sick." She said with a smile but I can tell she wanna scold me.
"That spot is for my wife. No one can sit there unless I say so." Lucas said intimidatingly.
His cold gaze sent shiver down my spine, and I can tell the girl is scared too.
"Well I--I.." The girl stuttered.
"Please get out of the car." I said calmly and opened the door for her.
She stepped out of the car because Lucas is throwing cold gazes to her.
"Then I'll just sit behind." She said with an awkward smile.
She was about to open the car door and sit beside my son Lewis but I stopped her hand.
"Sorry but Lewis doesn't like sitting with someone she is not familiar with."I said with a smile
She looked at me angrily and I can tell she really want to grab my hair
I reached to my pocket and took out some money..
"Please take this money and take a taxi, I hope you'll have a safe ride." I said and sat next to Lucas.
Lucas immediately started to drive without saying anything.
I looked at the car's side mirror.
I saw her looking angry and clenching her fist
I'm sure that this will not be the end of it.. Well let her do as she pleases. She cannot hurt me.
Lucas drove to the nearest arcade to let Lewis play
"Can Lewis enjoy this place? It seems like the games are too hard for a little kid like him." I asked Lucas nervously.
"What do you take your son for?" He smiled sexily and went inside with Lewis
Since I cannot do anything I just let them enjoy themselves
They played the 2 player combat game. They are against each other. I watched him play and Lucas kept winning I saw Lewis pouting and almost crying.
"Mommy, Daddy won't let me win T^T" He cried pitifully
Lewis lost again, He looked at me like a pitiful puppy but I don't know what do I do.
The next thing I knew I was holding the controller and another game is about to start.
I felt something familiar and I just started playing naturally. For some reason I beat up Lucas.
He looked at who is playing the game. He looked annoyed so I hurriedly switched places with Lewis who is looking smug right now.
"Daddy, you still can't win to mommy." Lewis said and looked at Lucas with a smug smile.
Lucas looked more annoyed. I cannot believe he is such a sore loser.
"Forget it, How about I cook dinner for both of you to end this day?" I asked them with a smile
"Really mommy?! Let's go home then!!"Lewis said happily and held my hand.
