24 24: Varzant Mansion

Luna's POV

Since I am in New York I thought that I would less likely to see my enemies in LA.

I cannot believe that Lucas encountered them quickly.

I was planning to keep them away from them and all of my matters but it seems like we are meant to cross each other afterall.

But I should protect them at all cost. I cannot let them hurt someone important to me. I should make sure not to get them caught up with my revenge.

"Are you sure you're okay? You look really pale." Lucas worriedly asked.

I just sighed and comforted him by telling him I am okay..

He just sighed and believed my words.

I really don't want them to get involved.

Especially not with those cruel person. Even though I am grant with power now, I still don't know if I can protect them all alone.

I somehow need to come up with a plan and meet them before the destiny decides to mess us up.

-The next day-

I woke up next to Lucas, He is still sleeping but his alarm is not going off so I turned it off and woke him up instead.

He woke up immediately and surprisingly he is pretty normal and he doesn't look like I can control him today.

I prepared everything for them and after eating He and Lewis immediately left..

As soon as they left I immediately called for Kindred and told her about my plan.

I did not tell her about me being Selene. I just told her that I am indebted with Moore Family.

Ofcourse I asked her to run an investigation to Liam and Rina since my revenge starts with the both of them.

Kindred immediately left to hire some private investigators to stalk Liam and I prepared my things to go to Pennsylvania where Luna's parents and family are living.

I just left a message to Lucas and it seems like he is busy so he is not answering and I do not want to bother him so I just let it be and I drove to Pennsylvania alone.

I remember Luna's house since I recovered her memories already.

I stopped at the huge gate, This is probably the most beautiful mansion I've seen as I drove on my way here.

As soon as I got out my car the maids immediately lined up and welcomed me with a bow.

"Welcome home Lady Luna." They greeted with a smile.

I just smiled and thanked them then walked inside my home.

As soon as I got in Luna's mother immediately hugged me tightly.

"Lulu! *sobs* How can you not visit your own mother!" She weeped.

I told her about everything that happened and why did I not visit her. If Luna weren't on a coma I bet she would love to visit her mother just like how I feel right now.

I thought it would be hard to talk to Luna's mother but it turned out that she just misses her daughter a lot, Sadly Luna is no longer here. The Luna she is hugging right now is no longer the same Luna.. It is me Selene, I wonder how she will feel if she knew that someone else is inside her daughter's body?...

Luna's mother went to the kitchen to get me something to eat, as soon as she disappeared someone immediately popped up.

A girl looking so intimidating is standing in front of me. She looks cold and murderous. I just cannot withstand her aura.

"Lulu! How can you not ask how am I?! I've been waiting for you! How can you not come to your sister's engagement party!" She said with a pout.

Sister.. Then this means she is my sister?

"The thing is I--" I was about to tell her what happened to me but she cut me off.

"I know what happened, I just wanna know why did you took so long to come and visit us? Didn't I tell you? If something goes wrong you will immediately walk home or I'll crush everyone beside you." She said with a worried tone of voice.

"I-I'm sorry sister, I-I just thought I should take care of my own matters." I just answered awkwardly.

"humph! I won't forgive them! I will make sure to make your enemies suffer!" She said angrily.

Ugh, I should've just let her take care of it, but it is solved anyway it is no point talking about it now.

"It is just a small matter, It doesn't deserve your attention so I solved it on my own. In the future if I encounter more problems I'll come into you." I just said to make her feel better.

Well she looks reliable, I should really get help from her in the future.

She just sighed and looked at me as if I am helpless and pitiful (well this is half truth.)

"I'll take care of it before you even tell me."She just said with a smile and gave me a headpat as if she knew that I wasn't going to tell her if I have a problem.

As I remembered her name is Zayne Freyj Varzant.. She is my elder sister, Second child of Varzant family she is very successful and pretty mysterious towards others. She is powerful and full of connections so no one dares to offend her.

"Just call me and I will make sure to take care of all your worries." She said and gave me a comforting look.

I just smiled at her and nodded then suddenly someone called her phone so she had to pick it up.

Luna's mother went back with some snacks and put them in the table in front of me.

"You liked these snacks, I am not quite sure if you still like it but it won't hurt to give it a try." She said warmly.

I tasted the snacks and as expected I liked it. It wasn't too bad although it looks exotic to me. It tastes good!

"You still like it." Luna's mother said with a smile and pinched my cheeks.

"Mother, I am sure you know that I came here for a reason." I said seriously trying hard not to offend her.

"Well, I know you ofcourse. You wouldn't come to me unless it is very serious." Luna's mother said then sipped her drink.

"Tell me, what do you want?" She said with a serious face.

"I want to find someone mother." I said nervously.

"His name is Liam Scott. He owns Scott Group. I also want him to be investigated." I added.

"Well, That's an odd request but I'll get it done. I just wanna ask why are you looking for this man?" She asked with suspicion all over her face.

"I am indebted to someone and I have to pay it somewhat by doing something for her." I just said indirectly

after hearing what I said Luna's mother did not ask further questions luckily she can read on situations fast enough.

"Go and rest then you can go back to your husband tomorrow. I'll give you a visit some other day to give you back what belongs to you."Luna's mother said.

I literally have no clue but I just nodded anyway.

WHAT BELONGS TO ME?!?!?

Am I stupid?

Why can't I remember anything about it?!?!
