20 20: Lewis is hurt

Luna's POV

I went home first before Lucas because he said he would be working overtime and he doesn't want me to stay up late.

I immediately went to the kitchen because Lewis will soon go home and I'm sure he is hungry. He might be little but he has a big appetite. Not that I mind though.

I was stirring the soup I am cooking when I heard a loud cry coming from the main door. I immediately rushed to the main door as I suspect it is Lewis crying

I rushed to the main door and saw Lewis crying and walking to my direction holding his arm. His body is full of bruises and he even has a wound in his face and his head is suddenly bleeding

"Mommy!!!" He cried and ran towards me still loudly crying.

He kept calling me mommy and he won't stop so I comforted him and asked him what happened and why does he have wounds all over his body.

He kept crying and crying so I just carried him and asked the driver to go to the hospital.

"Why didn't you brought him to hospital immediately?!" I scolded the driver.

He just said sorry but I feel like it is not worth it to fight about it since Lewis is in bad condition.

"Baby, Please don't cry." I kept comforting him but he is crying very loud.

Well I mean.. He is still a kid and he is badly wounded it is normal for him to cry.

I looked at his face and saw the bleeding part I immediately put my handkerchief to his wound to keep it from bleeding because he is losing blood.

"Don't worry we'll soon be there. Don't cry anymore." I told him and kept on trying to comfort him but he just kept crying and crying.

As soon as we got to the hospital a lot of nurses and 2 doctors immediately came to treat Lewis.

They immediately took him away and rushed him to emergency room. I was gonna go in but the nurse stopped me.

"Sorry Mrs. You can't go in yet." The nurse stopped me..

I knock some sense into myself and sat on the chair beside ER

I am trembling and couldn't calm down. I can feel the rage rushing to my blood.

after a while the doctors finally went out of the ER and I immediately stopped them to tell me what happened to my son.

"Mrs.Ashford, your son has minor injuries but we have already patched up his wounds on top of that he also dislocated his shoulder but it will heal in a few days just don't let him engage in too much activities. You may see him now. He is still concious." The doctor said and left.

I immediately went inside the ER and hugged Lewis.

"Baby.. What happened to you?"

He suddenly started crying so I panicked but he is speaking so I decided to listen

"M*Sobs* Mommy *Sobs* They bullied me" He cried while hugging me tightly with one hand.

" W-Who bullied you?"I asked, still confused to what is happening

"Aunty Gizel w-went to our school and *sobs* and she brought *sobs* a man to the school they bullied me *boohoo*" He cried and cried

Gizel Gizel Gizel.. Why is it always her... Am I being too tolerant in her?

"Tell mommy what happened, I promise I'll get justice for you." I said and gave him a warm pat.

He fixed himself and spoke so I can understand him

"She went to the school with Jacob's father. At first he told me what happened between me and jacob I told him it was Jacob's fault but he called me a liar *sobs and and I said it is true! but he got angry and pushed me *cries*" He cried

An old man pushed him?

Gizel was there too?

"What did the teachers do and the principal?" I asked

"They did not care about me, They even apologized to the guy that hurt me and asked me to go away." Lewis cried.

I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth but I did not show Lewis that I'm angry.

This time, I should send them to hell.

I thought that my warning to her is clear enough. I will make sure to send her to hell

Whoever helps her, I will send them to hell too.

After a few minutes, Lewis fell asleep and I just sat beside him so he won't feel scared and cry anymore.

Suddenly I heard loud thudding as if someone is running to this direction. 5 seconds later Lucas banged the door open trying to catch his breathe.

"What happened to him?!" He nervously shouted and touched Lucas's head.

"Don't shout he just fell asleep." I scolded Lucas.

"Daddy..."Lewis cried in a low tone of voice.

Lucas looked at Lewis even more worried. I did not expect him to be so worried I thought he did not care about Lewis because he is always looking at him with straight face

Suddenly a memory of Luna flashed through my head.

It is Lucas looking at his newborn son Lewis.. He looks at him warmly and full of love.

"Wife! Are you okay?" Lucas asked while snapping his fingers in front of me.

"O-Oh.. I'm okay." I said and fixed myself.

"Aren't you going to ask what happened to Lewis?" I asked him with a cold gaze.

"I already know. Don't worry, I won't let them get away with it." He said and sat beside Lewis bed facing me.

"That's good, because I'll crush whoever tries to help her."I said with a straight face but he is not a bit worried.

"The doctor said we can bring him home, because it is just a minor injury Let's go home for now." He said with a warm face and stood up to his seat.

Lewis can still walk so he walked by himself. We discharged Lewis and thanked the doctor for treating him then we immediately went home.

As soon as we went home Lewis immediately went to his room and Lucas helped him to go there.
