19 19: We met again
Luna's POV
I woke up early today because Lewis set an alarm at 5 am.
It is 5 am now and I'm just sitting in the bed waiting for Lewis to wake up and turn off his bloody alarm.
"I'm sorry, Did I wake you up?" He gently said and turned off his alarm clock then he hugged my thighs.
I removed his hands and asked him to get up because I think it is time for him to go to work.
He immediately stood up but he is still lacking energy. He just asked what I told him to do. He just stood in front of me like a sleep walker.
"Brush your teeth and take a bath." I ordered
He said okay and nodded then went to bathroom to do what I asked him to do.
While he is bathing I cooked breakfast for him and prepared his lunchbox.
I thought after a bath he would wake up but he is still half asleep.
"Sit down and eat." I said and he did it.
Well aren't I lucky today? I know his vulnerable spot now.
I don't know if I should be happy or feel guilty.
But he is... Kinda cute O//w//O
He drank his coffee and he finally went back to his senses and he acted like nothing happened so I did not mention it.
Maybe it is normal for him.
or maybe he doesn't know it yet?
"Goodmorning ma'am and sir." One of the maid greeted.
Lucas just nodded but I said goodmorning back.
"You really need to learn to answer to people talking to you." I told him and rolled my eyes.
He said nothing and continued eating.
" Oh snap, I need to go to work." Lucas said while looking at his watch.
"It is only 6:30 am though, your normal work time is 8:00am isn't it?"I asked confusedly
"I see you already memorized my schedule." He said with a smile.
"Don't change the topic."
"I am going for a meeting early. The company is having a little issue." He said with a sigh.
"Can I go to your work? I promise I won't mess you up from working." I said randomly..
"Are you sure? Go get ready now then." He said excitedly.
I showered and made myself ready so I won't be an embarrassment for him.
"I'm done." I said.
"Let's go now then!" He said excitedly grabbed his lunchbox and me.
"Why are you so excited?"I asked because I'm weirded out.
"How can I stay calm? My wife is personally going to my company and accompany me while working." He said excitedly.
I just stayed quiet and waited for us to arrive at his work.
Before we enter the building I saw all the employees being panicked seeing that Lucas is coming.
I saw them get in line perfectly and Lucas's secretary is waiting for him in front.
We got out and entered the building.
Everyone greeted Lucas warmly.
"Goodmorning Mr.Ashford." They greeted but Lucas did not answer.
"Goodmorning Mr.Ashford may I ask who is the fair lady beside you?" Lucas's secretary asked.
Lucas stopped and looked at his secretary angrily.
"MY. WIFE." He said, It is kinda loud and I felt like it was intentional but I did not point it out.
We entered his private elevator it seems like it is already fixed.
Lucas immediately headed to his meeting and I am left alone at his office.
It seems like everyone is too busy..
Well that's normal, Afterall it is working time.
I easily got bored waiting for Lucas so I went down and went to receptionist.
I saw the girl from the last time. The one that helped me to find Lucas last time.
She is getting bullied by her senior as usual. *sigh*
After a while I recognized her senior.. It is Diane.
Diane is Rina's bestfriend. I remember that she is the one that helped Rina to get Liam away from me. Both her and Rina plotted against me and framed me a lot of times.
She still haven't changed a bit. She is still as cruel as usual, but compared to Rina she is less cruel. Which means it is easier to get rid of her.
Because of her lies and scheme with Rina, My mother got so disappointed and fell into illness.
Even if I'm not Selene anymore they should pay for what they have done to my mother and me in my past life! I'll make sure to make them live in a hell hole!
I went closer to Diane and the cute girl I met before.
I saw Diane walking towards my direction and I saw Lucas's secretary walk past me holding 2 cups of coffee. I grabbed one of the coffee and walked normally to bump with Diane.
I walked normally like I'm about to go ask the receptionist but that's not what I am going to do.
I bumped into her and intentionally spilled the coffee I am holding and I also spilled some of the coffee to my dress so it won't look to obvious.
"Are you crazy?!" She shouted which caught the attention of some of the employees.
"Ah, my bad, I didn't saw you and I was in a hurry. I apologize." I said with a puppy eyes.
Everyone is whispering to each other. But not about me. They are whispering and looking at Diane.
"Did you know how expensive this dress is?!" She shouted at me.
I pretend to panic and I looked down not saying anything.
"Ignorant fool. Look where you are walking. Are you stupid or something?!" She shouted and tried to remove the stain from her clothes.
Suddenly the crowd's whispering became louder and dissipated in a second.
"M-Mr.Ashford?" Diane nervously said.
I looked up and saw Lucas looking at me with disdain but I looked at him like a puppy who is about to cry. Damn, I feel so small around him. he then turned to Diane who has coffee all over her clothes.
"Look at you, your coffee is all over your clothes. Secretary Clinton, prepare a spare change" Lucas said while looking at Diane.
I snarled at him but he completely ignored me.
"Thank you Mr.Ashford." Diane said and put her hair behind her ears.
"Let's go and follow Secretary Clinton." Lucas added.
I really wanna rip out his intestines take me away from this man !! ><
I did not know that Diane is having an affair with Lucas >< I really misunderstood this guy humph
Diane immediately walked beside Lucas and she gave me a smug smile secretly.
"Get away from me." Lucas said and turned to Diane.
"S-Sir?" Diane got flustered.
"don't misunderstand me, I was talking to my wife when I said something about the spare clothes." Lucas said and grabbed my waist then looked at Diane with disdain.
Why am I embarrassed for Diane >,<
"I was only looking at you so I can remember who caused my wife an inconvenience today. I am not the person who can just let go of someone who shouted at my wife." He said and turned around still holding my waist.
as we walk away, I turned around and saw Diane in terror. She suddenly looked at me with her usual murderous eyes.
I gave her a smug smile and gave her akanbe gesture ( facial gesture. It consists of someone pulling down one's lower eyelid to expose the red underside towards someone, often accompanied by the person sticking their tongue out.)
When we got back into his office, I immediately removed his hand from my waist.
And as I did that I suddenly felt cold as if I'm in the coldest part of the world.
"Didn't you say you won't cause trouble?" He asked calmly but it is scary.
"I did not cause trouble to you. It is a personal matter." I said while playing with my nails because I'm nervous.
" Is that so? Then tell me. Why are you handling your personal matter inside my company?" He said and slowly pushed me to the wall and trapped me with his arms.
"C-Can't I ?!" I angrily shouted but deep inside I'm nervous.
As expected anger has an equal reaction. He looks angry to me as well.
"You caused trouble to my work, made a ruckus and distracted my employees which is unacceptable.. I am thinking of how should I punish you." He said with devilish eyes and looking at me head to toe.
I protected my body using my arms.
He is not thinking about perverted things.. is he?!!
"I-I have nothing to offer. You should be a gentleman and let go of your wife just this once." I said and looked at him pitifully.
"That won't do at all. I have to punish you." He said with serious tone of voice and looked at me with a straight face.
"T-Then you promised me 3 wishes. I am using the 3rd wish.. I wish you will let me go for all of my mistakes." I said awkwardly.
He then smiled mysteriously as if he calculated everything and this was meant to happen.
"Well, I'm not the person who goes back to his own word. I'll do as you wish." He said with a mysterious smile.
