The Orb surface is now covered with cracks, with lights illuminating the surroundings Chase then started to think what he's supposed to do next.

"So, what's next?"

He turned his gaze to the Portal Rabbit since it's the one who made him do this, it might know what Chase is suppose to do next.

'Squeak'

The Portal Rabbit seems to be reliable. It hopped toward the cracking Orb, then with it's tiny paw it touched the Orb.

"That's it?"

Chase lifted his right hand then stretched it towards the Orb. Doing what the Portal Rabbit did, Chase laid his hand on top of the Orb. As soon as he touched the Orb with his hand, the light leaking from the cracks started to wave and surround Chase's right hand. The light swirled around and climbed to Chase's chest through his right hand, as soon as the tip light reached his chest, Chase felt extreme pain.

The light pierced through his clothes and pierced through his chest skin and bones. He tried to take his hands off the Orb but Chase couldn't move any of his limbs nor he could feel them, he felt like his sense of touched was stripped off him.

"GAAAHHHH!!!!"

Chase whose being tormented by extreme pain, shouted. He couldn't take it anymore. This pain that's tormenting him, compared to the pain he felt when he tried to cultivate using Stone Essence, is a hundred, no, a thousand fold more painful. It's like every bone in his body is being slowly shattered to pieces, his skin being peeled off, his nails pulled out, and he feels like he's whole being is going to explode.

"NNN!!!! GUHHHHH!!!"

'SQUEAK!'

The Portal Rabbit whose in front of him, squeaked loudly. Chase looked at the Portal Rabbit, then saw the it gesture something. The Portal Rabbit crossed his lower limbs then forcefully sat down, then put together his both paws.

Chase who saw the Portal Rabbit gesturing something, he immediately understand what's to be done. Chase couldn't move his hands but thankfully he's already sitting crossed legged, he then inhaled a mouthful of air and started to circulate the Spirit Energy in him.

Meditate, that's what the Portal Rabbit gestured. Chase who started to meditate felt something different mixed with his Spirit Energy. Chase who started to ciculate the Spirit Energy in him, felt that the outsider mixed was not going with how the Spirit Energy circulates inside him, he felt like the outsider has it's own mind as it tried to counterflow and head towards his Spirit Nerve.

"Don't mess with me, you outsider!"

Chase shouted with a determined expression printed on his face. Chase started to let the condensed Spirit Energy enter his body, he's planning on using it to fill and close every path that heads toward his Spirit Nerve. This way the outsider will have to no way on getting there. Don't mess with my Spirit Energy controll that I polished for a whole month without rest, Chase thought.

'You're good, child.'

'Yeah, yeah, you're smart."

'This boy seems to have the potential.'

'What are you talking about? His Spirit Energy capacity is too low, how are we supposed to live inside him?'

Suddenly, as Chase gathered the condensed Spirit Energy around him, he heard voices. He did not heard it with his ears, but with his mind. It's like the voices were transmitted directly in his mind.

"Who are you?"

Chase asked confusedly to the voices in his mind.

'Oh? You're quite calm despite experiencing something unnatural.'

A voice replied, the voice was soft and smooth hinting that it's gender is a female.

"That's not what I asked. Who are you? Why are you invading my Spirit Nerve?"

Chase askes again.

'Invading? But you were the one who wanted this, right?'

Another voice replied, it was different from the one before. The voice that replied now was deep like how a male's voice is.

"I...wanted this?"

Chase was a little confused, why would he want something to enter his Spirit Energh. He must be crazy if he wanted something so dangerous or maybe-

"Don't tell me! "

'That's right, Chase. You wrote your name on the Ancient Orb that WE resided for hundreds of thousands of years.'

"So, you are the content of the Ancient Orb that the First Ruler integrated his soul?"

It was stated in the scroll that the First Ruler integrated his soul with the contents of the Ancient Orb. Some of the words were unreadable and the name of the contents is included with those words. Chase never knew what was inside, that is the reason why Chase was confused on why the voice said he wanted this.

'Correct!'

"So, who- no, What are you?"

Chase wanted to know WHAT is trying to enter inside his Spirit Nerve. Is it a Beast? Is it a Soul? Chase wanted to know if that something is really harmless to him. That is why he asked.

'What Am I? Aren't you supposed to ask, What are WE? '

The voice corrected Chase's question. We?, Chase confusely thought. Then inside his Empty mind, shadows slowly formed and suddenly THEY appeared.

'Well, I'll tell you what WE are!'

A voice, not just one nor two, it was thousands of voices of different tones, but there's one similarities to all of them. All the voices,

"wee we arrreee are thhheee thhee lleeggionn gion oofff off leeggeenndaarry ggenndaarry mmonnssterss."

Suddenly popping out of nowhere, they introduced themselves in a small high pitched voice. And the voices all came from thousands of small, cute, fluffy, colorful, short limbed and with shiny eyes, creatures.

"• • • ...what? "

Chase who was shocked and perplexed by there sudden appearance, asked. He did not understand a word they said, nor does he want to now that he saw this scene. Cute, fluffy creatures everywhere, some were stumbling, some were squeezed, and some were cuddling...or not.

'hey, it's tight here. can you please move aside.'

'hell no. i'm already being squeezed here. i can't even breath properly.'

'what are you talking about? were just spirits now, we don't need to breath. and even if we need to breath, we're in this child's mind, there's no air here. '

'oh, is that so? '

Cute voices resounded in Chase's mind. Some of the cute creatures were arguing.

Are these really the content of the Ancient Orb that made the First Ruler become powerful? Chase asked himself. Seeing the scene full of fluffy creatures before him, he started to slowly regret believing what the scroll said.

Most powerful my ass! These guys won't even be able to hurt a mosquito, Chase thought. A flame of rage ignited within Chase, he just couldn't believe that these innocent looking creatures will help him become strong. And most of all, he's angry because he believed something so dumb...

Dumb? Chase suddenly realized something. That's right, some of the the fault is mine... but the one who I should blame is....

Suddenly, another shadow formed inside his mind and suddenly, it popped up. With long white furry ears, short white limbs, white fluffy body, two long front teeth, a gem on it's forehead and most of all, it's dumb looking face.

This face... I wouldn't forget this dumb face, Chase narrowed his eyes to the creature that appeared suddenly.

As it popped up, the thousand creatures that were cuddling, or not, earlier also noticed it.

Everyone of them calling him 'Leader'. The newly creature that just appeared a moment ago.
