10 Legendary Monsters and Weeping Soul
A flock of cute creatures ran towards the Portal Rabbit.
"Wait, how did you get here in my mind?"
Perplexed by how the Portal Rabbit entered his mind, Chase opened his closed eyes to see the outside world outside his mind. He looked around and noticed that the Portal Rabbit that was supposed to be in front of him is nowhere to be found.
Now that Chase think of it, there's no pain anymore. The extreme pain that tormented him earlier seems to have vanished into the thin air. Several questions then started to appear in Chase's mind and he knows who can answer it. Chase closed his eyes again and waited for the Portal Rabbit to answer.
'...squeak?'
"• • •"
'pfft! i was just joking hahaha.'
The Portal Rabbit laughed out loud, his cute high-pitched laughter echoed in Chase's mind.
' i'm sorry, ha ha ha... pfft hahaha i can't stop hahaha. your face, it looks dumb, hahaha. '
Chase's nerve started to palpitate in anger, hearing the laughter of this Portal Rabbit just rubs on him.
How dare this Portal Rabbit insult my good looking face? Chase thought. He wanted to at least choke this Dumb Portal Rabbit again but this time, he won't let go. But that wouldn't help Chase in any way so he calmed down, his aggressive expression then returned to the calm one.
"Sigh, just answer my question."
Chase sighed.
'ha ha ha, okay. ehem'
The Portal Rabbit who seems to finally be in the mood to actually talk, cleared his dried throat.
'okay, first i'd like to properly introduce ourselves. we are Monsters that came from different worlds and has attained the pinnacle of all Spiritual Realm, ranging from Legendary Rank to the highest Transcendental Rank...we are the Legion of Legendary Monsters.'
'hey, move aside... '
'ouch, that hurts.'
Chase's brow twitched as he heard some big words that seems to defy heaven while seeing cute creatures, or monsters, in front of him fighting.
'sigh, all legendary to semi-transcendent rank, go back to the soul realm.'
Seems like the Portal Rabbit is also annoyed by the pushing and the noisy voices. It then commanded them, with an air of superiority, to leave.
'yes, leader.'
The majority of the monsters inside Chase's mind replied and suddenly vanished. The space in Chase's mind has inreased greatly that it makes one think just how many monsters were there in Chase's mind that it used up all these space.
Chase who saw how politely they replied to the Portal Rabbit is surprised, not mentioning they didn't hesitate even a second to follow the given order.
This Dumb Portal Rabbit seems to be really the Leader of these guys, Chase thought. He then focused his attention to the remaining monsters in front of him. There are about 11 remaining monsters including the Portal Rabbit. The Portal Rabbit was supposed to be an Spirit Animal, but seeing that it introduced it self as a Monster, a Legendary Monster, then there's nothing Chase could argue.
"So, where are we again?"
Chase asked. This whole situation and bunch of unusual information is just making his mind go blank that he can't catch up with the pace of conversation.
'well, we are the Legendary Monsters that has been in deep sleep for about a hundred thousand years and you have succesfully integrated your soul to ours, we were the one who work though.'
The Portal Rabbit introduced themselves again. This time Chase is receiving this unusual new informations with ease since there's no more disturbance.
"Okay, I have a bunch of questions though. I just want you to answer them. "
Questions has been piling up in Chase's mind since he saw those monsters appearing inside his mind. No, actually he also has questions regarding the contents of the scroll, many words were unreadable but the monsters in front of him, especially the Portal Rabbit, seems to be knowledgable about it. After all, they have been in existence for a hundred. thousand years or more and most importantly, the scroll has talked about how the First Ruler became the powerful when he integrated his soul with them.
'okay'
The Portal Rabbit agreed.
"First of all, ... Are you really Legendary Monsters that made the First Ruler powerful? I mean, I can't seem to see how you guys are legendary."
Chase pointed his imaginary fingers on the remaining monsters inside his mind. There's a butterfly waving it's very large wings to float, there's a small cat with weird stripes and long pair of fangs, there's a weird two headed creature with a flower growing on it's back, and other kinds of weird monsters were inside Chase's mind. Although they all have different appearances, all of them has the same characteristics and it's that they are all small and cute, it gives one a soft impression.
'really? then how about this? Lessiah go revert to your original form.'
With an air of superiority, the Portal Rabbit ordered the monster beside him. It was a small monster that looks like a black scorpion but with 2 venomous sting and 2 uneven Pincers.
'okay'
The scorpion monster replied. Violet light then started to emit from it's hard skin, it's body is slowly but to Chase's, it is surely getting larger and longer.
It's two pair of pincers that were like something that seems able to only cut a small thin stick has now grown into a really large pincer, it won't be impossible for it to cut a full grown tree with ease.
It's large body started turning violet, sharp edges and pointy spikes are now visible on its back, and it's cute little black shaded eyes before is now glowing with sinister aura. When it moves it's eyes or head, those sinister eyes leaves a violet afterglow.
Chase who has been watching it's transformation swallowed a mouthful of saliva. The free space in Chase's mind was barely sufficient to contain it large build.
'so, how is it? this here is the abyssal scorpion, marmasa. his element is darkness, well his power is comparable to a cultivator who has reached the pinnacle of cultivation.'
The Portal Rabbit asked insultingly. This brat thinks were not Legendary enough, then how about that?
"W- well, I guess that's Legendary enough."
Chase replied not paying any heed on the Portal Rabbits tone. Amd since his question has been answered, Chase then moved on his next question.
"My 2nd question is, How will you make me powerful?"
Chase had always thought how he will become powerful just by integrating his soul with these Legendary Monsters. We'll actually he has the basic idea how since Chase remembered that he had heard it from his seniors, what he actually wants to is specifically how.
'how we will help you become powerful is actually pretty simple. you only need to enhance your control on spirit energy and refine your spirit nerve, if you reached the basic requirement, we will teach you a skill compatible to how much spirit energy you can accumulate.'
Sweat started to slide down Chase's
If it's Spirit Energy control then Chase has already improved so much since he spent an entire month following the steps on a book of Control of Spirit Energy.
But regarding his Spirit Nerve, he hasn't started to refine it yet since he only practiced his Control over Spirit Energy. Also even if he has time to refine his Spirit Nerve, he still can't.
That is because he has no cultivation manual to guide him, a cultivator is recommended to only refine when he has picked a cultivation manual that is compatible with his element affinity.
Actually, when one reach 10 years old, they would be given a practice cultivation manual to examine if one has an innate talent to cultivate. But Chase couldn't do even the basics of the basic when he was still 10 years old, so when he tried to borrow a cultivation manual on his family library, he was rejected.
We'll, I guess I'll just get one if I passed the entrance exam tomorrow... Chase thought. He then scratched his head while feeling that he forgot something.

Chase opened his eyes and stood up immediately.

Chase shouted, he isn't meditating now but he can still hear the cute little voices in his head. Maybe it's because they had integrated his soul with them.
'Oh, yeah! i did hear you say something like that. '
The Portal Rabbit's replied echoed in Chase head.
It's quite weird hearing voices in my head, Chase thought.
"Well, anyway, bring me back now! Damn, I don't even know what time is it."
Many events happened that made Chase lose his sense of time. He's transported in an unknown place, found an unusual orb that later learned to be an Ancient Orb, integrating his soul, extreme pain tormenting his body, Legendary Cute Monsters, there are just too many unusual events happening that caused him to forget about the time and the Entrance Exam.
'okay, calm down geez. first of all, i want you to learn this skill.'
Inside Chase's mind the Gem on the forehead of the Portal Rabbit radiated. Chase felt an itch on his chest area, he then looked at it and found a line.
'that line is a small part of my mark. Once you learn a skill from mine or other monsters here, a line or a mark of any shape will appear. of course, each time you learn a skill, a mark will be added.'
The cute voice in Chase's mind explained how the line on chest works.
"So, what skill did I learn?"
Chase who was hurrying asked. Since he got a mark, then he supposedly had learned a skill.
'it's a space skill, try drawing out some spirit energy from your spirit nerve.'
"Okay."
Chase stood still, he calmed his panicking mind and heavy breathing. He then draw out some Spirit Energy from his Spirit Nerve and circulated it.
'next is, try directing it toward your chest area, and routing it in the line mark.'
Chase directed his Spirit Energy in his chest and routed it on the line mark.
'finally reach out your hand to an empty space and draw a line.'
Chase slowly reached out his right hand in front of him, then draw a line with his finger. As he draw a line, a Space Rift suddenly opened. Air started to get sucked in it and the Space Rift slowly widened, sucking not just air but everything around Chase.
'Hmm.. I see, you're still not accustomed on using skills.'
The Portal Rabbit inside Chase's mind observed what is happening outside.
"What is this supposed doOO!?"
Chase who was getting sucked in shouted. His body is lowered on the ground so the Space Rift won't be able to suck him easily.
'Well,it's not supposed to suck anything in. But just let it be so the money here will get sucked in. Once you got accustomed on using this skill, then you can get the golds out. Oh and also, this is called Spce Box, it's used as a storage.'
The Portal Rabbit explained with a calm voice.
"Really? Okay."
A few minutes later, the Space Box closed. Looking around there's nothing more left, just rocks and pebbles.
Chase who lowered his body, stood up.
"Hey, get me back now."
'Okay.'
A portal suddenly opened in fron of Chase, since it's big enough, Chase was able to get in easily.
After getting in, Chase found himself to where he was before anything of that happened. Trees on the surrounding, the smell of grasses, Chase inhaled a mouthful the fresh air he couldn't get inside the Cave.
"So it's already evening?"
The freezing breeze touched Chase's face. Earlier it was still noon, now that it's evening Chase realized how long he's been there in the Cave. But thinking about the events that happened, Chase felt that so many thing happened in such a short time.
Feeling the breeze again, Chase started to walk home.

Inside Chase's Soul Realm
'we finally found him.'
'you're right. so much time has passed.'
'yeah.'
The Legendary Monsters in their Tiny version are foating in a Colorless Space. There are about 2,000 of them chatting and some are sleeping.
Away from the crowd, 11 monsters that were left behind earlier to talk with Chase are having a conversation.
'looks like, chase can't hear us here.'
'yeah, looks like it. he would be shouting now if he's hearing the noisy talking over there.'
'anyway, since he can't hear us anymore. we should deal with him now.'
'oh, him?'
'hey, you can show yourself now. we know you're here.'
'we're integrated in the same soul now.'
A few moments, even with repeated calling, there's nothing showing up.
'hey, leader. why don't you call him? i'm sure he'll listen to you.'
One of the 11 monsters suggested to the Portal Rabbit that hasn't said a single word.
'sigh, hey, do you want me to call you?'
Emitting a killing intent, the Portal Rabbit talked to the empty air. And after a few moments, something finally showed up.
In an empty space a bit further from the 11 monsters, a shadow extended from the horizon. And then formed a seemingly colorless fire, a transparent fire, but there's one thing that can be seen, a mark that looks like a Tear Drop and an eye in the middle.
'no need to threaten me leader hehehe. i will show myself sooner or later anyway even without you guys callin he he he.'
The Colorless flame laughed in a weird way.
'finally found you. we've been searching for you for a long time now, you don't know how troublesome it is... Weeping Soul.'
