Divine Royal Academy

A prestigious academy which students from another country are even dying to get in. It produces geniuses yearly that reached an incredible rank in cultivation. Some are now Patriarch in their family, some are Royal Knight or Mages, and some are travelling around the world to find a way to surpass their current rank.

In front of the grandiose gate of the Divine Royal Academy, a crowd consisting of about a few thousand students are waiting for the announcement regarding the Entrance Exam.

People of different species, from different countries are still gathering. Demi-Humans of different kind were also present; Dwarves, Fairies, Gnomes, Elves, Dark Elves and also Half-Breeds like Chase.

Chatter, chatter

Indistinct chattering filled the air with noises. Among the crowd was Chase, his short horn from his left temple, average height, black hair, and an average looking face blended him in the crowd.

After a few moments of noisy chattering, a tall man with white long hair wearing a white robe, that seems to be made of high-grade materials flew across the sky, standing on top of a sword, he then landed with great ease in front of the crowd.

"Kyaaahh! Is that Adris of the Red Diamond Family?!"

"Oh my gosh! That is him! Kyaaahh!"

"Kyaahh! Ahh~"

Deafening scream of excitement from fangirls resounded, there was even a girl that lost conciousness while shouting, they seem to be attracted at the guy in front of them. Looking closely, he does have a pretty looking face, so pretty that he might be often mistaken for a girl.

Of course, if there are fangirls screaming, there are also the jealous boys whose emitting killing intent.

"It's nice to have a pretty face, isn't it?!"

"Damn! He even made my girl scream!"

"Kyaahh! Senior, let's combine our sword!"

Ignoring the last guy who shouted, the other boys barked words of jealousy to the pretty guy in front of them.

"Silence!"

A deep powerful voice resounded, covering all the indistinct noises in the air. With one word, all the chattering stopped at once, creating a brief moment of silence that seems to extend in eternity.

"The Divine Royal Academy will accept all of you, even if you're from another country, only if you pass the exam!"

The pretty guy grandiosely waved his hand, causing his robe to flutter, pointing to all the enrollees in front of him.

"All of you will take an exam with 3 stages. Also, since the exam always changes yearly, all the informations some of you got regarding last year's exam will all be useless!"

The chattering started again, looks like there are some enrollees investigated last years exam, they are showing some dejected expression.

The pretty guy in front saw their grim expressions, he then smiled. Despite his kind looking face, he seems to take joy in shattering the hopes of those who thought they could easily pass the exam with their informations.

"Each stages of the exam will have different difficulties and of course, as you pass a stage, it will get harder as you move forward."

He explained, creating a heavy pressure on the heart of the enrollees. Chase who was among the crowd also feels the pressure.

He only has great control on Spirit Energy and aside from that, he has a Legion of Monsters inside him. Though, it seems like he can't rely on them.

Chase tried communictating to them since early in the morning but there's no one replying. So right now, Chase can only rely on his own abilities.

"Each stages will be manage by Gold Rank students. The first stage will be managed by me, Adris of the Red Diamond Family, a 4 Star Gold Rank cultivator under the Magus Section."

As he introduced himself, he puffed up his chest and released an air of superiority.

"Adris of the Red Diamond Family?! The Family that rules the North Part of this Gaia City?"

"And his also the Young Master of that Family!"

"Oh my gosh! 4 Star Gold Rank?! That's only a step away before ascending to Black Gold Rank!"

Different kinds of surprise dominated the crowd. Being a part of the Red Diamond Family, a reputable family and a Young Master at that, that really is surprising.

The Red Diamond Family is one of the Powerhouse of the Gaia City. Since they are in charged of ruling and protecting the North part of the City, the other Powerhouses don't want to offend them and always keeps a good relation with them.

Since Adris is a 4 Star Gold Rank then it's not strange for him to be the Young Master of the Red Diamond Family. Being a Gold Rank is already a genius level that deserves to be praised, but if it's 4 Star Gold Rank that's only a step away from Black Gold Rank then the City Lord may even come to bestow him a title and recruit him as a Royal Mage.

The chattering last only a few minutes and silence dominated the crowd again. The enrollees are waiting for what this senior in front of them still has to say.

"That ends the explanation on the exam. The first stage will start ...now! "

Another student from the other side of the gate flew to the sky and landed beside Adris. The student is wearing a blue robe that's made of medium-grade materials, he must be a white-silver rank. The difference in color and quality shows the gap in the students cultivation rank.

"Senior Adris, this is the Measuring Stone that GrandMage Gale instructed to be used here. He said that we will have to disqualify that's not able to make the Stone Glow."

The student in gray robe whispered to Adris.

"Hmm? A change on plan, eh? Look's like we will skip the easy part and start with the hard stage immediately. Something must be happening inside the academy. "

Adris seems to guess that something is going on inside the Academy since there's a sudden change in plan. Adris then grabbed the Measuring Stone that his junior delivered. After getting the Measuring Stone, the student in grey robe immediately left the front gate to go back in the academym

"Listen up enrollees! There's a sudden change in plan regarding the exam. There will be no more easy stage, and we will start at hard mode stage already!"

Adris informed the enrollees on how the exam was changed. Chattering then started again, some students who heard that they will start at the hard stage had a grim expression printed on their faces.

Chase who was among the enrollees, also felt the pressure get much heavier. But he can't be bothered by it, he is determined to pass the exam no matter what it takes. He will not fail his father and waste his sacrifice for Chase to have this oppurtunity. He then calmed his mind and only focused on what is happening in the present, and forget on what the future may result to.

"Then enrollees of this year, I hope you're prepared. Do what you will and do what you can, struggle and survive that is what you should think of. This marks the start of the Annual Entrane Exam!"
