After reaching to the apartment Lycan went straight to his room. Along the way some neighbor greeted him. He wasn't in mood to think about any other things. He just wanted to confirm if the system panel was real or not. Closing the door Lycan lean back against the door panting heavily.

He pulled out the mana crystal wrapped in cloth from his pocket. Slowly unravelling the cloth ,he saw a blue crystal. Raising his hand slowly touching the crystal as if touching an antique. As he touched the crystal a familiar but unfamiliar screen came in front of his eyes.

[Do you wish to absorb mana stone.]

Not wasting any moment Lycan raised his voice.

"Yes"

As this was his only chance left to change his destiny and get out from poor life. The blue crystal hovered in the air and slow turned into particle entering Lycan's body. As the particle entered his body , he began to feel new kind of power growing inside him which caused pain. This new power of his was changing his body to let the proper flow of mana and strength.

After half an hour the pain started to decrease. His body was drenched in sweat and some dark gunky stuff. Smelling it he had urged to vomit. Seeing that he was covered in nasty stuff ,Lycan threw away what he was wearing and ran straight to the bathroom and began taking shower.

When the stream of warm water flushed down his head, Lycan breathed comfortably. His tense mind had finally begun to relax.

After washing, Lycan started to dry himself off while looking at the mirror. After removing the impurities, his skin had become white and smoother. It was probably better than some rich girls who always uses high end potion and cosmetics to maintain their youth.

At this time, a translucent message was hovering in his sight but due to unbearable smell he had to take a shower.

Early in the morning covering in cold sweat Lycan opened his heavy eyes. He had remembered something he did not wanted to remember. Walking away from the bed he tried to forget what he had dreamed.

Walking into the bathroom ,turning on the tap, splashing water on his face. Lycan stared in the mirror as he was looking into his own soul.

As he looking in the mirror his reflection started to change as denying his words. The reflections changed into all sorts of monster sometimes 2 legged , 4 legged or sometimes ghost like figure.

Seeing this he smashed the mirror not wanting to remember all the hell he went through. Blood started to drip down from his hand. Feeling his burning he pulled out med kit from above cupboard.

After sometime treating his hand and clamming down he went kitchen to have simple breakfast. While he was cooking for himself ,he remembered about system sync rate. Bring up his panel he began to look through his attributes and what power he had got.
