3 My Body Now

Crystal Lake was given its name because of the crystal clear water that it holds.

The lake is only about half a mile away from the east entrance of the kingdom.

No one even tried to stop Xander. Since the king and queen gave up on Xander, they didn't pay any attention to him. So no personal guards were even dispatched to check on him. They wouldn't even care if he came back at all.

When the previous Xander reached the lake, the memories stopped flowing into his brain.

Earth Xander now remembered that he was standing in the middle of a lake. It wouldn't take a genius to figure out that the previous Xander pulled an Ophelia. The previous Xander committed suicide by drowning.

Xander is 6 feet and 2 inches tall and the lake is 3 feet deep. 'Man, that guy must've been really depressed to drown himself in this shallow lake' Xander thought to himself. 'Well this is my body now, since you didn't put up a fight before you died I'll help you out with that. How could you let those people do that to you and not do anything to stop them.'

Xander got out of the lake and thought about how he could get revenge on everyone that betrayed the previous Xander.

First things first is power. 'How the hell am I going to get revenge if I'm so weak. The highest rank I could be is the starting rank, what kind of bullshit is that' Xander thought.

When Xander was thinking about how to get power he saw something in the corner of his eye.

"What the f*ck is this supposed to be... a game?" Xander saw a red health bar that showed 99/100 and a blue mana bar that showed 1000/1000 on the bottom right of his vision. "Is this supposed to be the help the Goddess of Life was talking about? Is my life just like an rpg game right now?" Xander was shocked that he yelled out loud.

Xander also saw an Icon of his body on the bottom left of his vision. When focusing on that icon a screen popped up in front of Xander.

Increases movement speed by 5% and turn the body into a shadow making user harder to see in the dark. User can still attack or be attacked in shadow form.

"No wonder why the Shadow Snake can only be 0-star low tier. This monster only knows how to run, since the ability is only for speed and has no attacking capabilities." Xander thought out loud.

Because of the game view, Xander forgot something important.

"How the hell do I transform? Do I just say a word?" Xander wanted to try out transforming so he tried yelling out "transform," with that Xander's body started changing.

Xander's body became pure white and started to become smaller and smaller until it turned into a snake. A black, 2 feet long snake with bright red eyes. This transformation only took about 3 seconds long to complete.

Being a monster felt weird to Xander. Moving without legs just didn't feel right. It took him a couple of minutes to get used to it. Moving just as easy as sliding. There was no effort at all.

Now being a Shadow Snake, Xander wanted to try out his ability Shadow Slip. 'Shadow Slip!' he thought yelling the words in his mind.

His snake body began to feel lighter. Even though Xander couldn't see himself turning into a shadow, he felt it. He felt connected to the shadows around him.

While sliding forward he also noticed the speed boost. It wasn't much, but in a life and death situation, it could impact his life.

While enjoying his time in shadow form, zipping around tree to tree, he encountered another snake.

While focusing on the snake, a window popped up.

'Even though we're the same monster, wild Shadow Snakes are so weak.'

Wondering how much EXP he'll get from killing a monster, Xander was so excited to fight. Especially a monster that's weaker than himself.

Xander went straight for the head, biting it with all his might.

Right when the Snake took damage, it ran away. Activating Shadow Slip the monster took off.

"You f*ckin coward, get back here" Xander roared. Even though he was a monster, Xander was able to speak clearly. But the cowardly snake paid no attention to Xander's insults, moving as fast as it could.

But with only 50 mana, the snake couldn't last long. Only 10 seconds passed and Xander came closer and closer.

With his never ending mana for his level and his 5% speed boost, Xander caught up in no time. When he was right next to the snake, he started biting multiple times.
