11 Chapter 11

"Well well, it looks like I was late for the party."

Both Nanoha and Xun Er gasped when they heard a masculine voice come out of seemingly nowhere before they turned to look at the source. Upon doing so, they laid their eyes on a man walking towards them leisurely, like he was walking along a park pathway, looking like he had no cares in the world whatsoever.

Sporting dark brown hair that was tied behind his head in a single ponytail along with his brown eyes with a scar running down the left one, the man currently wore an outfit akin to a full-on bodysuit. One which almost like a dark green double-layered skin that attached itself to his body tightly while showing his upper muscles, not to mention some areas of it made it look less like a suit and more like an exoskeleton. Furthermore, the man seemed to have a… somewhat mechanical looking sheathe strapped to his waist like the samurai of ancient Japan, one which likely contained a Katana of sorts. Though, for his right arm, he had a completely cybernetic one, something which caught the auburn-haired Magical Girl's attention quite quickly.

'That arm… it makes me think of that guy in the mech… could it be that the two are similar somehow? Do they know each other?' Nanoha wondered in her mind as she struggled to get up, only to fall flat on her face due to her energy being too low. 'Ugh… no good, I'm still too weak to move much right now…'

"Yo, ease up on the movement, Nanoha." Good thing then that she wasn't alone right now, for Xun Er, who'd quickly noticed her friend's attempts to stand as she jogged on over to kneel beside her, stopping the girl from getting up for the time being. Idly. she'd noticed Yuuno about to come on over too, but she shook her head to stop him. "You're worn out right now, so take some time to rest. I'll deal with this guy." Xun Er declared, getting a look of concern from the girl so the demigoddess sent a reassuring grin back… one which oddly enough reminded Nanoha of Vali for a moment.

With this done, Xun Er turned her back to Nanoha whilst getting back to her feet, facing back towards the approaching man's direction as she got into a martial arts stance. "Alright mister, who the hell are you, and why are you here?" Whoever this guy was, he couldn't have been a normal human, as otherwise she would have sensed his presence if he was. Not to mention that the way he moved, the way he carried himself, she got the feeling that he had a LOT of combat experience, an experience which likely ended in bloodshed given the amount of bloodlust she could feel from him. She'd gotten used to that thanks to the countless strays and Vali, so Xun Er didn't feel too affected by it.

"Two children, girls to be specific... what a cruel world we live in."

"Who are you old man?"

"Old man?....... Heh, hadn't been called that since I used to say the same thing to MY old man."

"I said, WHO. ARE. YOU?"

".......Many damn brats are impatient these days..... Might as well enlighten you then, my name is Jetstream Sam otherwise known as Cool Brazilian Wind, or you can call me Minuano."

"I'll call you whatever I want, old man. Why are you here, I doubt that a man like you would walk around nowhere in the forest."

"Good perspective you have there kid, I'll indulge you with some knowledge. I was called here by a certain benefactor who has sensed some anomalies here. We were tasked to collect them, buuuuut so far none of us has even taken possession of them because SOMEONE killed two of our members...…. I sensed some alien type of energy here, followed my nose, and I found two children are involved here. Maybe one of you has killed two of our members."

"Hah! Maybe we did, old man."

"Unlikely. But enough of that, I would ask you kindly to tell me what are those rocks that the blonde girl has taken."

"You want to know...… then you'll have to kill me then."

"Hmmm..... I'm not so keen about killing children, but I might as well teach you a lesson for being so arrogant, girlie."

Upon saying that, the air suddenly shifted into a more… intense atmosphere, prompting Xun Er to bring up her guard. Good thing she did, cause the very next second her eyes shot open wide when the man, known as Jetstream Sam, suddenly appeared before her (clearing about 20 meters worth of distance in that one movement as he did so), with his sword being drawn from what she had recalled being the Taito stance. Putting more weight on her left foot, Xun Er quickly twirled herself out of the sword slash's way, and a good thing she did too since the whole blade literally caught fire, causing her to gasp and nearly fall over had she not used the momentum to backflip away from her opponent. Fortunately, it seemed like the guy wasn't focusing on the downed Nanoha though, so she didn't have any worries there. "Wha-?!"

She tried to say something, but Sam had already closed the distance between them again, with a reverse horizontal slash already primed for launch. Once he swung at her neckline, Xun Er quickly leaned herself backward to avoid the blade's edge, noticing that the entire thing had a crimson color with electrical energy dancing along with it. 'A blade powered by supernatural energy? No, this guy feels like an ordinary human… So then, what the heck is he?' the brunette thought as she began channeling her Divine Energy through her forearms.

Once she did so, her arms literally went up in brilliant, golden flames, ones which quickly covered her forearms and hands whilst she threw an uppercut towards Sam, only for him to vanish before her attack could hit. However, she did the same with her legs, which resulted in everything below her kneecaps being covered in them, before she launched a spinning helicopter kick, slamming her right leg into the crackling blade of Sam's Katana. The girl had to cringe at the deadlock she found herself in thought as she slammed her remaining foot onto the ground for balance. 'Tch… this strength…!' she thought to herself as her leg trembled, struggling to keep the balance between them and not let that sword bisect her.

Meanwhile, Sam himself smirked in amusement, slight amusement though but amusement all the same. "Oh? So you DO have some skills…" He remarked before he made a slight flicking motion and dispersed their deadlock, gripping his Katana in two hands for a downward slash, one which Xun Er crossed her arms above her head to block. Sparks began to fly from the collision this time, although Xun Er this time couldn't keep herself fully upright thanks to being physically weaker than her opponent, resulting in her falling onto one knee like a knight kneeling before their king.

This didn't last long though, for Sam kicked at her arms and knocked them up into the air, then twisted himself a full 360 degrees before launching a back kick, sending a shrieking Xun Er to the ground with a loud BANG from the force. He then jumped forth, swinging his Katana in a diagonally upward slash to vertically cut her in half, only for one of Xun Er's eyes to barely open from it's previously closed state as she threw her left hand forwards.

"?!"

CLANG!

Just as the blade had been about to strike at her flesh, a brief golden glow formed around her hand as a matching colored circular barrier formed around her body, one made entirely out of her Divine Energy as a Demigoddess. 'Heh, Vali's not the only one who can use various techniques, I can too! Such as this one, my GOLDEN LIGHT PROTECTOR!' the girl thought smugly to herself as the Katana lasted only a couple seconds before it bounced off her barrier, throwing Sam back a bit.

"Interesting...looks like you too are part of the Supernatural World…" Sam remarked as the girl got up to her feet once again, glaring at him as she got back into her martial arts stance, her flames no longer coating her arms and legs right now. "Judging from what I've seen, you appear to be mostly self-taught, although there's a strong foundation behind your moves, implying that you've received instruction… likely from your godly parent if this feeling I'm getting is any indication…" The man remarked, scratching his facial hair-covered chin in analysis. "Still though… there's something missing…"

'From that small exchange, his guy picked that much information about me up… his observation skills and his experiences must be quite significant in that case, which makes him all the more dangerous…' Xun Er thought as she scowled, not liking the feeling of a grown-ass man stripping down her skills like that. She didn't like it one bit, not to mention there was a look in his eye which made her feel like she was not just fighting for her friend, but her very LIFE at the moment.

"Take this! TRIGRAM PALM!" As the two charged at one another again, Xun Er this time let her energy cover both hands, resulting in multiple golden arms made entirely from her flames to appear around her. She then used them to launch a downright VICIOUS barrage of punches towards Sam's position, the mechanical Samurai-looking guy weaving through them with expert-level movements. 'Shoot! Looks like this guy can see that this isn't a perfected technique yet…! This is bad! This guy's a genuine expert, if I'm not careful, I'll-'

CLANG!

"GRK!"

Once again, the two clashed with Xun Er encasing her arms in her flames, making sure to use more energy to reinforce her body in order to have a better chance against the physically superior older man. However, as she did so, Sam's next words caused her to go wide-eyed and slack-jawed, words which would then proceed to haunt her for a while to come. "I see now… you truly do lack a purpose, don't you?"

"?!"

"The way you swing your fist… it's so devoid of fire, pun intended, of a drive for yourself that it physically pains me to look at it. You cannot even bring out the full potential of your strikes because of your lack of proper instinct… no, a better way to phrase it is that, deep down… you YEARN for it. You yearn for the chance to no longer hold back, the chance to finally let go of what you've been restraining this whole time... " Sam remarked further after the two broke their deadlock. He then continued whilst looking over his Katana. "Yet, whilst you yearn for this, this chance… you hold yourself back. Likely for something silly like acceptance and acknowledgment-"

"YOU'RE WRONG!"

All of a sudden, Xun Er screamed that out, surprising Sam slightly whilst shocking the onlooking Nanoha, especially with the level of intensity behind the way she spoke just now. The auburn-haired girl couldn't have heard what Sam had said, but it had DEFINITELY triggered something in her friend, for her to react like that. The way she heaved and panted, her eyes filled with panic, fear, and… rejection, filled Nanoha with a sense of disbelief which got reflected in her eyes. What had happened? This had been the first time that she had EVER seen Xun Er acting like this…

"THAT'S NOT TRUE, YOU CAN'T PROVE ANYTHING! YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME!" Xun Er exclaimed, manifesting more arms via her TRIGRAM PALM technique and making to launch them at her opponent with a look of almost blinding fury. Her eyes LITERALLY looked like a wild beast about to go berserk with bloody twisted vengeance, practically inhuman to the point where it actually terrified Nanoha right then and there…

Although that terror soon switched into object HORROR at what followed.

SCULUCK!

"...Eh?"

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Nanoha just couldn't hold back the screams in her throat when she saw Sam literally appear behind her friend, a slice appearing over her left arm and… completely severing it from the elbow joint, letting it fall to the ground in a helpless mess in contrast to the clean-cut that he had made. Meanwhile, Xun Er seemed to still be in shock, like she just couldn't believe what had happened and her brain struggled to process it, resulting in her feeling nothing… for the first few seconds. Afterward, a burning pain erupted in her arm as she gripped it in her remaining hand, screaming out as her friend did in pure agony, tears streaming down her face like two waterfalls as she fell onto her knees.

"XUN ER!"

Yuuno tried to cry out and notify the screaming/crying girl that Sam had gotten behind her, however the girl didn't seem to hear or acknowledge its efforts, too absorbed within her own world of pain and despair at losing her arm like this.

Meanwhile, Sam himself just pondered as he raised his Kantana to finish Xun Er off. "Yeah, perhaps that will teach you. Shame girl, you just HAD to have a severed limb as your wakeup call. But since you're a lucky one, I'll spare you for today, since I got more important stuff to do than discipline a brat who is rejecting herself the way you are." Sam remarked, sheathing his Katana back into his sheath before proceeding to walk off. "Better stop rejecting yourself, brat, otherwise you won't live long in this world…"

Once the guy had completely left them, a surge of energy filled her as Nanoha quickly shot to her feet. Heavy breathing escaped her lips as she went to Xun Er's side, blood still spilling out. When she'd gotten to the girl's side, she kneeled down into the Japanese sitting position as she tried to do something about it. "Hold on Xun Er! Just hold on!"

"It's no use Nanoha, her blood is still flowing out!" Unfortunately, even as Nanoha put her hands out to try and apply Magic to the wound, nothing was happening as Yuuno so 'helpfully' pointed out. It didn't help that the now one-armed girl had begun struggling against Nanoha's attempts had Yuuno not made some Chains from his limited Magic reserves to hold her steady, since unnecessary movement would only make matters worse.

None of this helped Nanoha calm down any, however. "Wh-Wh-Wh-What should I do?! I d-d-d-d-don't want to lose her!" the auburn-haired Magical Girl cried out, her panic overwriting her control over her emotions.

"I know me to-wait! I remember something!"

"What is it Yuuno?!"

"Transfer your magic to her so that it can slow down the bleeding!"

"B-b-b-but I don't know how I can do that!"

"Remember what I said: magic can be operated by your heart. You have to at least try Nanoha!"

"O-okay Yuuno, I'll try!"

Driven by the encouragement her Ferret partner provided, Nanoha then placed her arm on Xun Er's shoulder, trying to think of a way of transferring her magic into Xun Er. In the end, an idea entered her mind, prompting her to do the same thing as when she had first activated Raging Heart, but instead, she directed her magic forth into Xun Er. For a moment, nothing seemed to happen which almost caused Nanoha to have an internal panic attack… until results started to show to her joy, since Nanoha began glowing in a pinkish colored aura, whilst Xun Er glowed as well… but in a yellow aura. So far the magic did the trick on slowing down the bleeding that Xun Er had in her stump.

"Uuuuuhhhhhh...…. Nano…...ha?"

Upon hearing the blunette speak, albeit barely which meant that she still had some trace of consciousness remaining, a smile so wide that it threatened to split her face appeared on Nanoha's lips, teardrops of joy building up in the corners of them. "Xun Er! You're okay! Thank the Shinto gods that you're still okay!" She exclaimed, restraining herself from hugging Xun Er since she wasn't in the best of conditions at the moment. Though, she didn't think that would change for a LONG time yet.

"Ugh….. where….is... that.... Old man?"

Nanoha's mood took a downer however, when in the next few seconds she heard Xun Er request knowledge about that guy Jetstream Sam, causing her lips to curve into a frown this time as she shook her head. "He's not important right now, what matters is that we have to make sure that your bleeding stops Xun Er. Let's go!"

With that said, Nanoha took the remaining attached arm belonging to her friend as she quickly went towards the direction of her house. But, as she did so, another problem reared its ugly head inside the back of her mind: How will she explain to her parents about Xun Er's missing arm?

Timeskip 4 weeks later

After 4 weeks had passed, things had begun going better for the Takamachi family and friends, except for two people: Nanoha and Xun Er.

By the time that they had almost reached the house Xun Er, had managed to use Magic (which had been hard to do considering her sole limb) stop the bleeding, not to mention she had managed to preserve enough to rewrite the entire household memories that she had a missing arm for about a year or two.

Shortly into the weeks, it hadn't taken long for Xun Er to become depressed about her first loss, made all the worse by the sting of the loss of her arm. She'd taken only a couple days of faking being happy enough to fool everyone but Nanoha, before she'd locked herself up inside her room and refused to come out except for the bare necessities, with what she did inside that room being something she'd refuse to comment on… it became almost like she'd been a completely different person, no longer was she the happy go lucky girl who had a strong love for sweets. Nope, that person had all but vanished into the void, replaced by this broody, almost broken young maiden who'd had her innocence stripped from her.

Unable to stand her friend being like this, Nanoha had tried her best to cheer her up, reasoning that in time, things would get better for her. So far, she didn't make any progress, almost like her words had not even reached the girl's ears, that was just how far Xun Er had slipped into the void that was depression.

As for the whole Jewel Seeds and all, little progress got made in that regard, which Nanoha hadn't really felt all that happy about since that would mean that something was happening behind the scenes, proof being that yet another party had gotten word of the Jewel Seeds' existence and wanted them for themselves.

By the time that the time to return to their home back in Uminari had arrived, things had hardly improved for the two girls. One might even say that Nanoha couldn't help the slight relief she'd felt when they finally arrived at their home, especially when she'd seen a similar silhouette sitting on the windowsill of her bedroom, leaning against the frame waiting for them to return.

'Vali…'

Over on his side of things, when he heard the sound of car tires halting along gravel, Vali glanced downwards with a bored expression on his face. 'Looks like they're back…' the boy thought to himself, a sigh of relief escaping him as he hopped down from the window sill, landed and then straightened himself, before pocketing his hands inside his pants. He then proceeded to head on forwards, walking towards the unpacking family in order to see how the two girls had been doing. Things on his end hadn't been all that eventful since that whole Mistral incident if he were honest, and it had sucked for the battle maniac. All he had been doing aside from some exploring of the town had been training and conversing with his two tenants, which to his stunned disbelief made him almost wish that Nanoha and Xun Er returned home quicker.

'Holy hell, I'm ACTUALLY missing that annoying brat Xun Er! What in God's (ouch!) name is wrong with me?! Am I going senile like some of the adults I've seen?!'

[... Vali. That's not important right now. Look at Xun Er…]

When he heard [Glavenus] say that with such a concerned and shocked tone of voice, the boy's eyes glanced towards her and, aside from noticing how she wasn't looking him in the eye, his eyes shot wide open when he saw that she had been missing an arm. Something must have happened on their vacation trip, he figured, but then his expression went back to his usual one as he tilted his head to them, wordlessly informing them that he wanted to take the conversation inside.

Something which sounded like a good idea at the moment.

They then proceeded to head upstairs back to Nanoha's room, as the said girl took a seat on her bed with Xun Er sitting next to her while Vali sat on the window, he is not leaning this time, he sat at the windows railing.

"...... What happened?"

To his further surprise, Xun Er remained silent on the matter, simply hanging her head with her hair shadowing her eyes thanks to her bangs. Therefore, Nanoha did it for her as she proceeded to explain the events that had happened: that they were attacked by another Magical Girl named Fate Testarossa, someone who had the same artifact as Nanohas Raging Heart. Not to mention that after Xun Er had fended her off this guy in mechanical wear had fought her and chopped her arm off whilst spouting some stuff she hadn't heard, although Vali had discreetly eyed Xun Er when he'd noticed her tense briefly.

THIS made Vali as well as his multiple tenants VERY worried, especially with the possibility that there was another person that has the same artifact as Nanoha' Raging Heart. Worse still, was that this Samurai-sounding guy seemed similar to Mistral whom they had fought 4 weeks ago in terms of possessing cybernetics. In their opinion, Xun Er had gotten off lightly in that case, losing an arm meant nothing compared to losing her life. They HAD to get the Jewel Seeds now or else either this Fate character or the rest of these cybernetically-enhanced mercenaries would end up taking them, which would NOT bode well for anyone. Maybe they could capture one of them to see who they were working with, as well as their intentions for the Jewel Seeds. In any case, they mustn't worry about that for now, they would inevitably cross that path when that girl Fate comes and tries to take the Jewel seed.

Still, as he looked at Xun Er's state, Vali couldn't help but snort, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Pft.... serves her right, she didn't train enough and now this is her punishment for being a brat."

"VALI! You can say that to her!"

Appalled and more than a little angry at the boy's words, Nanoha got out of her bed as she raised her arm to hit him, but his reflexes proved far superior. As a result, Vali's right arm reached out and his hand grasped her arm by the wrist, stopping her from hitting him as he glared at her. Whilst doing so, his Demonic Power entered his eyes, resulting in them becoming their slitted, devilish forms.

"Might I remind you just how cruel this world is, girl? This was simply Xun Er getting it off lightly, especially since this guy sounds like a woman I had fought 4 weeks ago who commanded a squadron of robot drones, used a Staff made from their limbs, and seemed to possess WAY more cybernetics compared to what you described. People who think that peace is all well and good, nine times out of ten haven't gotten the strength to KEEP that peace." Vali stated whilst keeping a tight grip on her arm, rendering it immobile.

"Young Nanoha. Tell me, why do you think that the Statues in China are the way they are?"

All of a sudden, Divine Dividing manifested behind Vali's form, letting the feathers flash in response to Albion speaking to Nanoha and Yuuno directly. Although she didn't show it, even Xun Er had listened to the Dragon's words, though they didn't receive an answer.

"Chinese Temples have a statue of an attendant with a long tongue, blue skin, and a generally monstrous-looking appearance despite being relatively human. China's guardians never looked kind by any means, moreover they looked more like Demons and Monsters than humans. Why do you think that is?"

THIS time however, Nanoha looked into the feathers with her eyes showing her anger, but confusion was starting to sink in as well since it felt like Albion had tried to make a point there. "What are you saying, Albion?"

"The truth is simple, girl, and one similar to what we've been telling you: That's because the ancient Chinese came to a conclusion after thousands of years worth of revelations and comprehensions, that in the end kindness will only be trampled upon by evil. Virgin Mary can only be insulted by Devils. One must have fierce eyes if they want to protect their own justice, one must have the might of thunder if they want to protect the innocent. 'Kind' people can never truly protect their own, therefore for one to be able to both protect the kind people and eliminate threats, they have to become threats themselves. That is NOT what Xun Er chose, she chose to be lazy and bratty, which resulted in the state she's in now. Let this be a lesson, girl, that in the end, you belong eternally to a world where might makes right, NEVER forget that."

Nanoha kept silent as she thought about the stuff that Albion told her. What he said came from a being that had long-lived beyond her, or even any of them combined. What he said is true that she cannot deny it for herself. In the end...….she didn't know what to do since one part of her wanted to deny those words, and yet the other part of her wanted to comprehend them.

Vali kept on silent as he thought about Xun Er's arm, keeping his internal thoughts off his facial expression. Whilst he stood by what he'd said, it had been indeed true that this would be her punishment but from the looks of her face, it would seem that she had lost something… else, something in addition to her first battle and arm. What that was, he wasn't sure, but even someone as tactless as Vali knew when not to ask about something. Maybe..... He should help Xun Er so that this would be a lesson on not being cocky, arrogant, and bratty too. Plus he also doesn't want to deal with an angry woman, or rather her mother to be more specific… now that he thought about it, maybe Miya would be angry too…

He shuddered at the thought of BOTH of them combined staring down murderously into his soul.

'What should I do to help Xun Er get her arm back?'

'Hmmmmmmmmm... you could attach her missing arm back to her body with healing magic, but then again Nanoha had mentioned during her explanation that she had left the arm back in that battle, so we can't do that. Going to retrieve it would be a waste of time too since something will have taken it at this point. Perhaps a sacred gear called twilight healing would be helpful, but I doubt that you can find any wielders of that Sacred Gear...'

'...Fuck, that would be a long jou-hold on...'

'Hmmmm? What is it, partner?'

'........ this sounds crazy, but it'd be just the kind of crazy that would make this work.' Vali replied as he remembered something, something about a certain item which he had sealed up after his Mistral fight. He hadn't told them about it yet, never had the chance, and would wait for the ripe opportunity to.

'What are you talking abo-... oh. Oh no... NO, that is out of the question, Vali! You know as well as I do how those things are as dangerous as a world-level threat.'

'I know, I'm not stupid Albion. Like I said before, this would be a risky thing to do... But still, what if I use my...…..demonic energy to fill in the Jewel seeds? You say that this power runs off one's imagination and desires, right? Hence, my idea....'

'Vali....'

[Let him use it, Albion. Sure, it might be risky, no I'm CERTAIN it is, but what other choice is there? For one, we need plenty of allies for this, especially with the existence of that other Magical Girl, Fate I believe her name was. With the whole castle incident that happened a month, the Shinto faction won't ignore this. They might send someone of their own to handle this situation, and besides, we don't want to deal with an angry mother would we?]

'........(Sigh) Let's wait for a bit then, we can at least see if we can try anything that'll make it safer for us to use.'

'Naturally.'

Once this conversation ended, Vali turned his attention back to Xun Er as she still had her head lowered down, probably still depressed about that fight against that cybertronic samurai. Whilst doing so, Nanoha then tried to speak up for her friend again.

"But that doesn't mean that you have to-"

"It's alright Nanoha, their right about me taking this too lightly This is simply my fault, a punishment for being too lazy."

The auburn-haired Magical Girl became wide-eyed whe, just as she tried to plead her case with them, the one she was defending went and interrupted her. She then glanced over to the brunette's direction, looking still in the same level of shock. "Xun Er.....

Giving a small smile of reassurance to the young girl, knowing that she was just trying to be a good friend to her, Xun Er turned her gaze back to the silver-haired hybrid. "Vali….Albion...…. You're right about me being too cocky, arrogant, and a bratty little girl. Perhaps, perhaps if I had trained as hard and as often as you do then maybe this wouldn't have happened. It's time for me....." For a moment, a flash of uncertainty passed through her eyes, before it got replaced by a gaze of determination. "...To change. To get stronger, and never lose to anyone again. Vali, I ask of you...… please, don't go easy on me when we are training. I want to make sure that I will not lose to anyone again. Not to the devils, the gods, or even that old samurai man again."

"....... Is that your final answer, Xun Er? Because if it is.... Then you won't ever have an easy life again. The life you knew before, that one of shelter and safety… it will never be within your reach again."

Xun Er nodded her head in response, her look never faltering unlike before. "....... Yes, it is."

Seeing this, Vali made sure to keep his face neutral, but internally he had begun frowning. Part of him believed there was something more to this, but in the end it wasn't his business to pry. Not to mention that he could see where she was coming from since she DID get off easy compared to what normal people would have in that scenario. "....Very well. Training will start tomorrow, so for the time being get some rest. We'll have to get some stuff prepared for your future development."

"I understand Vali."

"We have arrived at Uminari city, be sure to take your luggage and have a nice day."

The mechanical female voice which had just now spoken through the speakers filled the entire station. As people were beginning to take out their luggage and began to leave the train station, one woman, in particular, strode out of the train station after having to fend off a couple of gropers (one of the many problems in Japan for women, unfortunately) who had thought she would be an easy target.

Let's just say that a certain phone app got used and those guys got arrested a few stations ago. They'd be facing a pretty hefty fine for their actions, according to Japanese Law… though if she had HER way they'd be put under MUCH stricter punishment.

As for the woman herself, one could consider her to be QUITE high in the beauty department. A young woman of Japanese descent, she possessed naturally long, silky black hair that she had tied into a ponytail with a crimson ribbon, along with some crimson red eyes which bore into her surroundings as she walked across a nearby pathway, not to mention they were hidden by a pair of cool, black shades. The woman had a slim, voluptuous figure despite still being in her teenage years, one would be able to see how she would eventually grow up to become a stunning woman. As for clothes, she wore some simple travelling gear, gear consisting of a black overcoat underneath a dark purple sweater with a high collar and large cuffs, covering a pair of black gloves. Around her waist was a brown leather belt, with some matching black leather pants with some matching stiletto-heeled boots.

"So... I finally arrived here."

The woman remarked whilst lowering her shades whilst walking over to a large window. Whilst she walked, the woman pulled along a dark purple suitcase by a black handle, the constant grinding of its wheels against the marble floor-filling her ears. Once she reached the window, the woman allowed herself the chance to view the city that had caught her… superiors' interest, though whether or not that could be seen as a good thing depended on people's view of the situation once they heard about it.

'According to what I was told, there were two young children in this city who helped stabilize it and bring things back to normal… I'll check into my provided hotel first, THEN I'll see about locating those two. Might take some time though, since I can sense remnants of Demonic Power in the air, which likely means that this Devil child has been walking about quite a bit.' The woman thought, her ruby red lipstick-covered lips set in a thoughtful frown… before they curved upwards into a small smirk.

"But that just makes this interesting...ufufufufufufufufu…"
