'Why does this look familiar? When I was looking for Cobalt's food like always I saw explosions coming closer and closer. And once again I was met with fireballs fired at my direction.'

Dodging the fireball Lucius put a large distance between himself and the newest threat. And like Deja Vu a figure came flying out of the smoke towards Lucius. Swiftly catching it with his tail Lucius was shocked at who he caught.

'Kelly!? What is she doing here!? Well questions will have to wait.'

"Cobalt protect this human!"

-Kriiiii-

Getting ready for the fight both Lucius and Cobalt get ready to face the incoming danger. And with Cobalts roar another came to challenge it.

-SKkkKkRrrRREeeEEeeE-

A familiar flying purple bird wyvern descended. When Lucius saw it was a Yian Garuga his heart started pumping. He was excited for a round two and ready to prove that he had gotten much stronger.

-RRROOOOAAAAARRR-

Lucius leaped into the trees disappearing from sight only to reappear in the Yian Garuga's blind spot. It screeched in pain as Lucius' bladed wings cut deep into its back. Enraged by the pain Lucius caused it launched a volley of fireballs scorching the battlefield. Once again Lucius dashed into the tree line but instead of leaping out he ran circles around the Yian Garuga.

Releasing a barrage of scales the Yian Garuga was showing more and more cuts. It shot fireballs as it tried to follow where Lucius was but he was too fast. As the cuts almost covered the entirety of the Yian Garuga it went into an enraged state and let out a rain of fireballs up into the sky. As they fell they left craters everywhere they hit forcing Lucius out of the trees.

'Of course it wouldn't be that easy. Although the hit and run tactic was pretty effective it won't land a decisive blow. Looks like it's time for good old close combat.'

The Yian Garuga dive bombed out of the air like a missile narrowly missing Lucius. Utilizing it's claws and tail it unleashed attack after attack trying to push Lucius back. Lucius managed to keep up and dodge it's attacks but even if only one hit him the poison would put Lucius at a big disadvantage.

Using it's signature backflip tail swipe Lucius took advantage of the opening when the Yian Garuga recovered from the disorientation. Latching onto the throat Lucius tried to crush its windpipe but the carapace of the Yian Garuga was harder than he expected.

Using the opening Lucius provided, the Yian Garuga grabbed Lucius with its talons and slammed him into the ground. Lucius tried to get out of the pin by throwing different attack at the Yian Garuga but it was so enraged it didn't even flinch.

Feeling his ribs about to break Lucius felt like he made a mistake that would cost him his life. 'Dammit! I've gotten stronger so why can't I beat this damn Yian Garuga.'

Kelly " Close your eyes!"

-Bang!-

[Kelly POV]

'What the hell am I thinking? One moment I'm being chased by a Yian Garuga and the next I'm being protected by a Nargacuga and Yian Kut-Ku!'

Seeing her savior in a dire situation Kelly felt the need to repay the favor.

"Close your eyes!"

-Bang!-

Kelly threw a flash pod at the Yian Garuga stunning it with the loud noise and bright light. The Yian Garuga let go of the Nargacuga and went for the throat again. However this time wrapped its tail around the Yian Garuga's body. Using it's own body as an anchor the Nargacuga succeeded in breaking the Yian Garuga's neck.

"Oh shit now what?" was what went through Kelly's mind the moment she locked eyes with the Nargacuga. She got ready to try and defend herself even though she knew that she didn't stand a chance against the Nargacuga. Not to mention the Yian Kut-Ku which hasn't made a single move.

But to her surprise the Nargacuga just made a slight growl and the Yian Kut-Ku hopped onto it's shoulder. The Nargacuga vanished into the trees and left Kelly with her jaw on the floor as she processed what just happened to her.
