Chapter 1: The Void Awakening

In the oddity of darkness silence amongst me. No touch. No breath. No sense. It's been like that for a short while. Whilist an adrift state with no role to play... An amistence to everything, eroded lights appears before me, seemingly guiding me through the space.
Whiteness began to envelop me. A sharp echo began to incase my mind until finally...Something happend. The warm rays of sun begin to lay up on my face the grass nuzzling me underneath the achiness and high sensitivity arose my body.


I took a breath as I jolt awake when I feel a sudden boost as a faint aura enveloped me.
Opening my eyes with a start I see blades grass before me the land were unbarren and laid out with trees along with nearby houses near me with brick and Wood, "Is this a village?" I question myself. I held my hand to block the sun, or what is my hand now. "Woah what the! My hand! My arm! My- !" I took a stand to gather myself in this strange situation.


My body seem to be covered in gray fur with grey-ish patches all over it, hands seem to be worn with some sort of old tacky gloves made in a similar style, to the waist down similar gray-ish pattings can be found across my gray furry body and chest as something leered, it was my tail. "I have a tail!" I gasped. Seeing it I grabbed it, felt so soft and fluffy as while seeing the grey-ish fluff loops was curled around it.


"Oh! n-no way." just before I can question things around me a sharp sting began to inheed as my mind begin to turn white once more but only for a short duration. "Guh! That hurt! Like hell."

From the experience my mind flashed with different types of vague memories. Trying to gain paste I try to collect myself. In a haze I structed with vertigo as the world around me spun."


I go along thinking to myself to gain some information and try to get my bearings but before I can even do that a- "ORA!" The sounds of a fight nearby.


Curious I tried to walk towards the source of the noise only to wobble from every step I take. "Woah! Easy now". I said to myself trying to regain my balance everything was dizzy after the vertigo like the world was moving against me like chaotic tides of water.

I ran towards the commotion stumbling through every step like a rampant mall girl with high heels I find a sight between a young purple haired boy going against what presumably is living thriving mass of blue slime. "Oraa!"The purple haired boy yelled out. He slashes his sword in many directions wildly.


"Ahh Stop it! Meanie!" The slime yelped in pain before running away or more "like she slithered away?


"Haa...Haa...Haa" the boy was clearly exhausted after the fight collapsing on the floor. With concern I ran up to him behind. "Hay you! Are you alright?" I cawed out.

"Yea I'm fine, it really wasn't a prob-" he looks behind and sees me his face was young, eyes dazzled like pure sapphires, the appearance of the boys seem so innocent.


"Waaah! Monster! "He yelled out. "Hey Hey! Calm down! I'm friendly I'm not here to cause trouble" I yell with with a stammerd voice. His eyes still held my gaze.

He got up so early and picked up his sword not pointing at me, but still keeping it on the ready.


"So you're not here to harm anyone here in this village?" The purple haired boy questioned .

"No!" I yelped "I'm not here to cause anyone trouble. I was worried for you in the fight you seem quite exhausted." I worridly said.


"Oh? so you don't have bad intentions here? t-that great! I didn't have to fight another monster!" he yelled joyfully.


"Uhm yes, well uhmm" as I didn't have the words to say. "Well so? What was that?" I asked .

"What was what?" He asked in confusion. "That blue creature that was attacking you what was that?" I asked again.


"It was a slime? It was attacking nearby in my village and so it cause everyone to hide away. I told her that she was scaring the nearby residence but then focused on me instead for food." Luka said exhaustively.


"Well I'm sorry what you had to deal with there." I said almost apologetic. It's all right it really was not issue it was a hero encounters on his journey.

"Say, what is your name? The purple haired boy unsure to make out of this conversation stubbornly said his name. I-It's Luka, yours?" he said curiously.


"Uh, uhmm, uh" I was pacing around my mind what is my name? Desperate I scrambled my thoughts to collect a few words that can be placed into a name. However, the first thing that came out of my mouth was "PJ" I stammerd.

"Oh, what a nice name" said Luka. "Phew!" I exhaled. Suddenly "Oh shoot my baptism!" Luka said in a haste. "Wait can I follow you? I don't know where I am and I seem to be lost. You seem to know better of this place then I do as well I want to what this place is if you don't mind."


Luka ponderd of what I said with a soft smile he agreed only creating a condition where I didn't cause trouble and so as I walked beside him we began getting to know eachother more and more revealing his plans for coexistence for both man and monster and for my plans.


"Hmm, and you are sure peace may be restored if you defeat the Monster Lord?" I questioned.


"If I'm able to defeat the Monster Lord who's forcing the monsters to do evil, I'm sure everything will go back to how it was before. I'm sure man in monsters will be able to coexist peacefully again.

For that reason, I will defeat the Monster Lord! Even if comes at the cost of my life!"


"Well that seems, intense." I said back. "By the way, hope you don't mind, but what are you?" Luka asked "hmm? Oh! I'm unsure . " I replied

"Huh you don't know what you are? Luka gave me a questionable glance "No, not really? That was my question ever since. Ive been very confused and lost" Luka looked at me slightly concerned.


"So you really are lost huh, Well then you can followe as much as you want until your well!"
While walking together through the shallow part of the forest I ask a question.


"So may I must say, where are you going?" I asked. "I'm heading back to my village to get some supplies for my advent - " Before Luka can say anything else a deafening sound of something large impacting the ground nearby around the area, shaking the ground beneath us.

"The Hell was that!" I said spooked. "I don't know but it sounded like it was close by." Luka replied


In startled curiosity we both ran to the source of the noise going deep within the forest passing through branches and obstacles as we went further an further into the woods we found something, or someone?
