9 Fighting Granberia

3rd Person POV

As Kayne stares at Granberia, looking for an opening. He decides to make one as she doesn't have a real opening in her stance, dashing at her with a punch ready and steps onto the ground sliding close to her, seeing him this close Granberia slashes at Kayne only for it to be grabbed and felt a hit on her stomache before flying back a few meters, she looks up and Kayne is already at her face, she hurriedly blocked a punch and threw him off with a swing.

Kayne flips and lands on the ground gracefully and dashed at Granberia with a kick ready, she grips her sword and lights it up with intense flames, radiating off a strong heat.

Kayne stops and threw a sharp kick with a backflip making an air slash that hits her sword and blows out the fire, he runs in and barrages Granberia in a circle of punches hitting her everywhere, she stops his attack with a smash to the ground creating a shockwave that hits him off his feet, taking advantage of this she slashes at Kayne but felt it hit nothing, she looks at her sword and sees Kayne holding her sword by the tip and felt she is being lifted up, Kayne holding her sword in the air spun fiercely and smashes Granberia on the hard floor, making a big impact as Granberia struggles to get back up feeling pain all over her body.

Kayne looks at her and taunts her with an 'come on' gesture with his hand, this ticks Granberia a little and she runs to Kayne making slashes repeatedly as he dodges them by a hairs breadth, before slamming a fist into her solar plexus, making her lose her breath and leans over only to get hit on her chin by a kick and flies in the air before slamming onto the ground, Kayne is surprised at the result of the battle and says.

"Eh? that was a bit easy" Kayne looks at the surrounding soldiers looking up at him in awe, he observes them a bit and says "Then again they can't even use their body correctly in a proper fight, it's like asking for monster girls to drain you with that lousy fighting technique" When he said that the soldiers start getting angry but though about their previous training and fights and compared it to Granberia's fight against them and find the facts he just said about them are true.

"Just being blessed only makes you avoided by the monsters, is that like really the only blessing? there could've been strength or something instead of making you a monster repellant, what those heros are going to get is one look by the monsters before attacking the villagers while those heros look and don't do anything " Kayne said this and insulted the nearby 'heros' blessed by Illias, making most them look down in shame, while others panicked about that they got exposed.

Kayne looks at them with a smirk and continues " It's supposed to be the stronger the enemy the better you need to be but you guys just plain suck, heck even monsters would be weak because of it if it weren't for their long lifespan"

This makes the soldiers and adventurers gloomy, Kayne look at an allyway and noticed Luka hiding behind a wall, he vanished from his spot and grabbed Luka by his collar and said "Yo midget, enjoyed the sword basics from that book?"

Luka looks at Kayne in surprise and started explaining about his training about how good it went for him before Kayne interrupted by saying "If you can only practice 5 sets a day of those movements you suck then your meant to do 100 sets in less than 2 hours" Luka pales at the amount of the training he needs to do and asks "Am I really supposed to practice it that much?" hoping for it to be a joke.

Kayne raises a brow and said "Its a training set to build your stamina and strength, also the training method has a lot Sword Skills if you can place the move sets correctly, thats why the pieces of paper are moveable, it goes from a 9 to 3 combo and a single hit technique and every move is performable you just need the right amount of training to do some" Luka widens his eyes knowing this fact and noted in his mind to do do that later and was about to ask more questions but Kayne disappeared, Luka became disapointed but become encouraged to train harder to use the Sword Skills.

Kayne's POV

"Owowowow why you do that Alice? now my ear hurts" As I said that I hold my ear in defense when Alice releases it.

"Hmph you destroyed one of the four Heavenly Knights and you insulted your fellow human soldiers, even if they were cannon fodder, that was harsh" Said Alice turning her face around and says "How am I going to eat here if you make a negative reputation in the town and get kicked out?"

"Seriously you only care about eating when I defeated a Heavenly Knight?" I question Alice as she continues to look away, I then hear some people talking behind me.

"Is... is she gone? That monster did she run away?" Said a Man. Hmm? Granberia already left? Oh wait Alice must've healed her and sent her away, I hear more talking.

"That masked man over there! he drove her away!" A Woman shouted this time. Looks like they didn't see Alice heal her when she was unconscious.

"Thank you! A little longer, and this would've been a monster city!" Said another Man.

"You don't look that strong... but you were amazing! but how'd you drive away such a strong looking monster!" Bruh Granberia is leaner than me and I don't look strong? you seriously expect a big buff guy to drive her away?

I stand still and smile a little as they said their thanks to me and left, wow nothing really? Thats it? Just say thank you and mind your own buisness? Well thank you for being such... I can't say thankless can I? Damn this is hard, screw it I don't care anymore.

I look at Alice who already asked a random citizen about where [Suther land] Inn is and dragged me to where the Inn was, I look at the sign and see it costs 2,400,000 per person for one day.

Yup same as the game, I look at Alice and question her "How are we going to afford this? Even if I made money I didn't become a millionare during my sta-" I got interupted by a Soldier who just walked beside us and asked the Inn owner.

"Hey, Owner. I'm a hero. Give me the Hero rate to stay here" oh man this is going to be fun to watch, I watch as the soldier gets yelled at and ran away before the Inn owner notices us and said with a smile.

"Oh hey it's you two! The ones who saved this city! Please won't you stay here tonight?" Since when did Alice do something? Oh well who cares lets play along.

"But we don't have enough monay and we aren't baptised either" I said but she " Doesn't matter, A baptism doesn't make you a Hero, Your actions do. Here i'll make it just 2 gold per person and i'll bill the other 4,799,996 to Illias temple. Come in, Come in!"

"Well we are in now aren't we?" Said Alice with a smile as she drags me in, looks like im going to watch myself tonight.
