Notes : These seven colored eels lives in the water but will occasionally come out to land to bask in the the sunlight. Their blood is the main ingredient used by Alchemist to create HP & MP recovery potions. Thus, they are subjected to cruel process of blood extraction which usually takes their life. They seemed to be made to suffer, it's their lot in life.
Habitat: Lives in water with stone to bask in the sun.
Food: Eats any kind of insects and small fish.

Notes : These gray colored half snake and half turtle lives in shallow water. They are slower than the slowest snakes or turtles. Inside their shells is a grade A magic stone. The process of magic stone extraction usually takes their life. Just like the Rainbow Eel, they also seemed to be made to suffer, it's their lot in life.

Food: Eats any kind of insects small fish.

Notes : These cat sized pink oinkers may have been the result of cruel experiment by mages in the past. Their small wings let's them perform an awkwardly slow, wobbly flight. They perform no function whatsoever except as amusement for children as pets. Their small size renders them ineligible for bacon processing.
Habitat: Lives in nest made of leaves.
Food: Eats any kind of grains.
Price: 4 Gold
After looking through all the new monster's information, Alten starts scratching his chin in deep thought.
'The eels and turtle snakes sure gives a good return... in fact, much better than the Horned Rabbit! But... these 2 eggs are free, even though the return is really low. I hope they come up with a more humane way to extract the eel's blood and the magic stone just like the way people back home did for horseshoe crab... but I really am in a pinch right now. Want me to raise these porkers? Hah! When pigs fly!'
Alten then smiled wryly when he realized what just he said.
"Since I have 2 extra small pens now, I guess I should try to raise the Rainbow Eels and Turtle Snakes? They sure give good returns, more than the Horned Rabbit even."
"Ohohoho! Go for it! Don't forget to modify the pen and create the right habitat for the monsters."
"Don't mind if I do heh heh."
Alten then summon the menu, and changed both of the Small Earth-Type Monster Pen to Water-Type. He looked over at the water pen and saw one of them has a small pond that fills half the pen while the other one seems to have a small stream that starts and end underground in the shape of a reverse C. Both water pens has sandy soil as foundation, with few stones littered around.
'Oh! Even though they're the same type, but they came out differently unique. Interesting...'
After looking at the pen and thinking for a while, he decided to put the Rainbow Eel in the water pen with the stream, and the Turtle Snake in the pen with the small pond. He went to grab the bag filled with stone that he used on the Horned Rabbit pen earlier, and emptied the bag into pen with the stream. He carefully placed some of the the stone in the sand nearer to the water and then he dug a shallow pit in both pen.
Alten then took out 3 gray eggs and placed it into the sandy pit of the pen with the pond, and 3 multicolored eggs into the pit with the small stream beside it.
"This should do it I guess?"
Thak replied by giving two thumbs up.

'As expected, modifying the pen and putting eggs in increases exp too heh heh.'
It was a little bit past noon when they finished and both of them stood outside the monster pen looking at Alten's handiwork. Suddenly his stomach starts grumbling loudly.
"Woah, all that exercise sure worked up an appetite, heh heh."
"Ohohoho! Why don't you take a shower while I cook up lunch."
"Don't mind if I do."
They head back to the farmhouse with Alten immediately going up to shower while Thak went into the kitchen to cook lunch. During lunch Thak explained to Alten that the Horned Rabbit's crystal horn has a slight essence of magic imbued within them. Elementalist will usually ground it and use the powder as an ingredient in spell casting. Alchemist will use bits and pieces of it during the making of magic weapons and armors. Enchanters will fashion the crystal horn into daggers or tip of a wand or staff. The many useful application of a Horned Rabbit's crystal horn makes it very much in demand; luckily they are plentiful and easy to find.
The rest of the day passed with Thak explaining about how at one time the Winged Pig suddenly gained an unexpected increase in price due to speculation, even reaching thousands of gold coins per pig. Finally, Thak talked about the Rainbow Eel whose blood is the main ingredient that catalyzes the Jujube flower into Healing Potion and the Blue berried Flower into Magic Potion. All three ingredients are luckily quite common and is very much in demand by Warrior types and Caster types. He also talked about the magic crystal that can be extracted from inside a Turtle Snake shell which is used to powered a lot of Alchemist created tools.
"See this Magic Lantern?" Asked Thak, while opening a small receptacle at the base of the lantern. Inside Alten can see a magic stone glowing slightly. Thak closed it and turn on the lantern.
"Uhh, sure."
"It's conveniently powered by magic crystal taken out of a Turtle Snake... but at what cost? Ohohoho, now help me turn on the rest of it on the farm while I get dinner ready."
After dinner they had their usual tea drinking ceremony while star gazing on the porch.
"One thing about the Rainbow Eel you need to remember, they're prone to drying out. So you need to check them once a day, during midday preferably, and help water them while they bask in the sun."
"Un!"
"Ohohoho, I guess that's that."
They finished their stargazing tea and spent an uneventful night sleeping. The next morning, Alten checked his menu as soon as he got up and was greeted with a pleasant surprise. All of the eggs had hatched!
"Yes!"
