1 The river

In the few days i have been with my grunckle stan every thing has been normal.i would wake up brush my teeth then eat breakfast .mable would push for me to leave work and hangout with her in the forest .i would document things i see and my sister would run arround throwing glitter on everything.while i was documenting the stange things in this town i heard a splash and some giggiling I ran over as fast as I could

"Dipper come on in the water is great "Mable chided

"But why I just got dressed and I've got to go back to work and -"

"Common when was the last time you went swimming"

I pondered that it has been a while since I had gone swimming I wouldn't hurt to just take a dip plus it was no use arguing with Mable "fine"I sighed taking off my vest hat and shoes

Mable was right the water did feel wonderful it was a gorgeous crystal blue and you could see all the way to the bottom the current of the river wasn't strong enuf to carry you away but more of a gentle push

I dived in the rush of icy cold water felt amazing all over my body in the summer heat I came to the surface and gulped down air

We ended up staying another thirty minutes we crawled onto the river bank and I almost instantly fell asleep
