10 Noble problem?

With the customer gone, the shop went back to its peaceful state. Thankfully, the shop cleaned itself with the help of the system. As such, he didn't need to bother about the cleaning and just had to bring resources and sell them to customers. He had to say that he quite liked this way of life.

However, now that there were no customers anymore, he was quite bored. He knew that in the evening, the timer of going to the other world would restart once again. This time, he wanted to try to complete the task about buying a skill since it would give him information about the world of Ernia, specifically about the time he can stay in this world and about materials he could bring back. Obviously, he had already gained a lot of information since he came back to this world after the twelve hours and he could only bring back monster cultivation resources. But, obviously, the task had a reward to give and considering he already knew a lot of information, he should be getting something more specific.

Turning to the shop's door and seeing no one was planning on coming in, he made his plan for the other world. This time, he had a few goals. The first goal was to sell all the items he had looted from the goblins, take a task or two from the adventurers guild which were high paying, preferably monster hunting. Finally, he wanted to collect some resources while hunting for monsters and before leaving, like the previous day, he wanted to buy resources from the guild without forgetting to buy a skill if he had the money.

Honestly, from what he could see, the resource warehouse the attendant had shown him previously was merely the smaller of the three warehouses. He knew there were two other warehouses in the adventurers guild for having seen an attendant enter one with some resources only to come back empty-handed. Of course, the attendant had only shown him the warehouse with the weakest items since he was too poor to buy other things and she was aware of it.

One thing excited him more than anything else in that world. It was that people thought that the objects collected were totally useless. Obviously, they were not aware that in his own world, people would kill if they found even a small part of the warehouse he was shown. As such, the price was quite low which allowed him to make quite a profit on them. At the same time, the adventurer's guild would be grateful to him since he helped them get rid of the stocks.

Slowly watching the time pass, it was soon time for lunch. He left the shop and climbed the stairs back to the second floor to go to the kitchen. Preparing himself some food, he kept the shop icon opened in the corner of his vision in case a new customer stopped by. However, by the time he finished his lunch, there were still no new customers.

Going back downstairs, he waited and relaxed. At around four in the afternoon, an hour before closing, a new customer stopped at the shop. The customer was wearing a Hunter gear and he seemed extremely experienced. The man seemed to be around forty years old and had a lot of scars on the arms and one went from the middle of his left eye to the left side of his mouth.

As the man entered the shop, he said hello to Aurus before making his way to the areas where the display cases were lit up. It was as if any customers entering the shop understood that the cultivation resources were only where there was a gentle light.

The man stopped in front of the bottles of poison for a moment before making his way to the earth element display cases. Currently, the shop had the most diversity in the earth element with the green cores, oroshia herb and the algae moss.

When the new customer stopped in front of the display cases, Aurus didn't get up and lazily stayed on his chair, leaning on the counter. This was a shop and the information about all of the products were written right under their respective display case. Thanks to it, the customers could understand the effect of the resources they saw and wanted to buy. Not to mention the fact that the price was also written, the customers really didn't need Aurus.

The only reason Aurus had helped the previous customer was to make sure he would be able to finish his task successfully. Except for that, the only thing which could stop a customer from buying was the rule of the shop about the customers having to use the resource directly in the shop and not being allowed to bring it out.

He planned on buying a board or something similar from the point icon as soon as he had the points. Yes, the board only cost thirty points and he possessed one hundred. However, he planned on using the one hundred points on his cultivation first.

As for the board, yes indeed it seemed extremely expensive for a board that would have a line or two written on it. However, the board had a certain effect of making people accept more easily what was written and secondly, the most important point, he couldn't use other items except from those of the point system. As such, if he hadn't managed to finish the task and didn't unlock the point system, there was no chance to make any changes to the shop.

While having to use the point icon for everything linked to the shop was extremely irritating, it also increased his resolve of developing the business and if possible to find a way to diversify the business itself.

Obviously, Aurus understood that he didn't even have many resources yet in his shop. However, it didn't stop him from planning the future of his shop since he felt that points would be incredibly important to him in the future.

As he was thinking about his future and the shop's future, the middle-aged man finally seemed to have chosen the resources he wanted.

Seeing the man come closer, Aurus strengthened his posture and the man arrived in front of him at the same time.

"I would like to buy three of each of the earth element resources." The man didn't smile or make small talk and immediately talked about business.

Aurus nodded his head gently with a smile while getting up. At the same time, he informed the man about the rules of taking the resources directly into the shop while stating the reasons for this weird rule.

Hearing this rule, the man showed surprise in his eyes as he had never met someone who would limit his own business at the risk of losing customers to give a chance to the weaker Hunters who would normally not have access to cultivation resources. Reevaluating the young man next to him, the man nodded saying it was no problem at all. At the same time in his heart, he agreed to the way the owner did business but he knew that it would eventually attract greed and hate from those who were considered nobles in the city.

Indeed, there were nobles in that world. Either small nobles who had some small businesses in a city or big nobles who owned entire cities. However, in Crayna city, there were only four families that could be considered small nobles but all four together controlled the entire city. Thinking about this situation, the man couldn't stop himself from warning Aurus about this. He had quite a good impression of the young owner and wanted to help him a little bit if he could.

While Aurus was using the magnetic key to open the display cases, the man started to talk behind him.

"Although I totally agree with your way of doing business and it is very commendable to support weaker Hunters, be careful of the four nobles family. The four are separated into two factions and they are always at each other's throat. As long as they see and get to understand your shop, they will certainly come to you. I work for the Falnis family and they are in alliance with the Graynar family. Those two families have always been righteous and helped weaker Hunters as you do. However, the other two families, the Mortel and the Watul family will certainly come to trouble you to force you to give the resources for free for whatever reasons. So, be careful. Take my number if you need help dealing with those two families. I'm sure the Falnis and Graynar will help you. Of course, I can't talk for them but they should help you since it would stop the other two families."

Aurus had finished bringing out the resources from the display case and had been paying attention to what the man was saying. Hearing about it, he had vaguely known that he would eventually bring attention to himself but he hadn't expected that the four families were always against each other and that his resources would easily tip the balance.

The more he thought about this situation, the more he felt it was likely to happen. While he wasn't very concerned about the shop due to the so-called defensive mechanism of the shop, he was still worried about his mother and sister. After all, one couldn't leave the hospital while the other had classes to attend to. Looking at the middle-aged man who took the time to explain the situation to him, he easily got a positive image of him. As for the four families, he would have to meet them himself. However, if he could make more business from their fight he would certainly do so. After all, every crystal meant one point and each point was extremely important to him.

But of course, if he allied himself with one side, the other side would come for him to stop the cooperation and this way would be to attack him, his sister, his mother or his shop. For him and his shop, there were no problems. For his sister, she could stay at home for a small amount of time but she couldn't stay at home forever. As for his mother, she couldn't move from the hospital at all. As such, he confirmed that he couldn't be against any of the four families. Thinking up to this point, he stopped and thanked the man while handing the nine earth monster cultivation resources, three of each.
