2 Chapter 2

After 1,000 years of slumber something alive came upon the beautiful island that was left to defend itself as angel slept in her temple waiting to be awaken while something remarkable happens on her island.

"You sure she'll be here monkey king?" Mk asked as he monkey god shrugged his shoulders not knowing but she was known to sleep a lot.

"Beats me, I wanna see her temple again" king said acting like a trickster would as they headed through countless of trees and vines wrapped around everything while flowers bloomed beautifully decorating the island with colour.

"Is there any snakes?" MK asked his monkey Mentour as he continued To walk ahead as they grew close to the temple.

"Maybe, just watch your feet though" king replied as he headed closer and closer before reaching the entrance that was blocked by vines but who would put a temple inside of a mountain.

"Ahh! Stupid vines.... wow is that the temple" Mk said realising the place and how wrapped up it is with vines blocking the door but it wasn't a problem for king he easily slashed the vines away before opening the humongous doors with one hand before going inside seeing how everything seems to look untouched by the plants outside.

"Everything is in amazing condition, hmm makes me think that is she actually asleep in here or even awake" king said to himself before entering the main room where angel stays in while MK struggled behind him as king suddenly came to a hault causing MK to bump into him.

"Why you stop?" He whispered seeing that his mentor was looking up at something so he seemed to look up too seeing the sun ray shine beautifully onto the statue and the golden bed which a tail was seen dangling from showing that she was in.

"We found her..... finally" king said before going over to the statue while Mk kept his distance not wanting to be squished by anything as the roof seemed to look like it was coming down a little bit, while king had no problem stopping in front of the statue.

"Hello?" King said but no answer came as he knew that he need to do something louder to wake her up. "Hey! It's me! Sun wake up!" He yelled as a groan was heard form her as her arms were seen stretching as her tail swayed a little bit before she sat up.

"What?" She said tired obviously wanting to go back to sleep.

"We came to talk to you" he said as she looked down seeing him before realising his face.

"Sun? Is that you?" She said as he shook with crosses arms with smile knocking it was like her to act like this.

"The one and only girl" he replied cockily before looking back at MK who seemed not impressed at his mentor as angel sorted herself before getting down form her bed seeing her old bud face to face again.

"I thought you died when that huge shadow demon attack the village?" She said as he rubbed the back of his head nervously.

"Well, I didn't... but everyone... I am sorry" king said to angel as she sighed not happy about that at all. "But I am here to take you to my island" he said with a smile going that she would come since he made it quite similar as hers was.

"I don't know" she said not knowing what to do.

"I have a temple but it's not to my liking so I was hoping..do you want to.... live in it" king asked extremely nervously as Mk caught her attention.

"Who's this little meatball?" Angel asked rushing over ignoring king to the kid examining him.

"That's my successor" king replied as she lifted up the kids arm before looking at king then put it down.

"So does that mean he can hold your staff too?" She asked stupidly as king sighed knew it was typical for her to acting like this due to her being bored for over 1,000 years.

"Yeah, what about you?" He Asked back causing angel to freeze in shock realising that she haven't got one yet. "You haven't got one?!" He said again shocked as she rubbed the back of her head nervously.

"I went to sleep as soon as I got my staff off that scary shadowy island that looked so pretty and blossomy when I first stood upon it" angel said as king instantly knew who she was on about.

"Then You must've came across macaque right? He's dangerous" king said again as angel already knew but if he was she would've been dead by now.

"Well, he said I was too beautiful to die yet anyway" she replied as it seemed to grind his gears hearing that he said that to her.

"We are definitely bringing you to my island" king said mad as angel didn't care anyway so she gladly went with them to king's island with his adorable mini population of white little monkeys.

Angle seemed to almost get used to the island and it's monkeys as they seemed to like her too making her already feel welcome to the island, while king watched in the distance while MK grew confused on how he new her in the first place.

"How do you know her?" MK asked his mentor who seemed to keep an close watch at Angle as she communicated with the little monkeys understanding them.

"We go way back, way before I even become immortal. we were extremely close when we were kids. Until she had to go and take the trial she hasn't came back for months so our people thought that she was dead, but I didn't give up that easy" he explained a little but Mk knew that he was keeping something secret inside about Angel something dark that even she feels ashamed off telling.

"How Is she so pretty? Is it because of the goddess or was she born like it?" He asked as king looked at him kinda offended but sighed since he hardly knew about Angle in the first place.

"Yes she was born like this thanks to the goddess choosing her when she was only a newborn, waiting until 15 to take the trial to retrieve her staff..... some think that Angel was resurrected but has no memory of her past but I don't think that's possible" king replied in more depth but thats all he could say to kid really since he hasn't got consent to speak about how her island turned out the way it had been for over 1,000 years.

"Oh, immortality is weird" the kid said having nothing to do with the subject they were talking about as king placed a hand on his face.

"King?" Angle said as he quickly removes his hand from his face looking at her.

"Yes.... what is it?" He replies walking towards her as she stood back onto her two feet again.

"I want to know and see your island more, if you know where things are meant to be?" Angel replies tempting with his intelligence as he gladly showed the way around the island.

"You know.. your disappearance had a huge affect of the gods you know" king said as Angel grew confused but rolled with it.

"I only slept for a couple of centuries, what's wrong with that?" She replied as he chuckled in response.

"More like 1,200 years Angel" king said making Angle feel a bit embarrassed.

"So, what affect does that have on me?" She asked him again as she only slept to gain her energy from the sun and moonlight.

"Well, a huge evil force is now roaming the world trying to take it over, which I once sealed away" he said cockily as Angel didn't really care about that since she has to keep her power in-order to use it when an actual really threat arrives.

"And?" She replies not impressed as he turned shocked with a gasp a little offended before laughing knowing she was joking or thinking she was.

"I'll show you the temple now" he said as they came towards a waterfall that seemed to open allowing them to go through a cave that had some remarkable things decorating it especially flowers and moss while a bridge was seen connecting to any other side of a piece of land heading to a huge hole that seemed to have a little hit where king lives while the wall in front had a huge like doors showing the same patterned like her old temple making it more like home.

"Sooo... what do you do when your bored?" She asked the monkey as he began to think since he has a flying cloud he could ride while she was glowing golden wings.

"I don't know really but at least I have you as company and support right?" He replied as the kid patted her back while Angle came to the temple doors loooking at how similar they are from her home.

"It looks the same like the one at my island but it can't be exactly the same can it?" Angel said confused as her hand gently caressed the door of the temple.

"The goddess traveled from island to island saving not only her kind but different ones too, making those islands feel more like home by building temples that looked exactly as one on your island" king and explained hopefully to help Angel as she opened the temple doors before going inside seeing how well it was decorated and cleaned way better than her old temple.

"I was told that she slept and only protected her own kind using the energy of the sun and moon" Kid said as king looked at him not impressed but expected from humans to not know the truth about a all time powerful goddess.

"I'll be on the maintains with my successor if you need me" king said as he trustfully left Angel to her own in the temple to do as she pleases in the island.

Kid is with his mentor monkey king training on the mountains trying to get the kid use to the strange things that the staff can do.

"Why can't I train with Angel again?" MK asked his mentor as he sighed laying on his little floating cloud eating potato chips.

"Like I said before kid.... she's too powerful, and could possibly kill you in one blow so no fighting with the goddess until you can actually withstand her attacks" king explained while munching on his potato chips.

"Aww, but I really wanted to see if I would at least land one hit on her or a scratch" MK moaned and complained to his mentor scoffed and stayed with his answer not wanting the kid to get hurt by Angels powerful magic.

"Even if I did it would put her off her post to protect the island for me while I'm training you" king said trying to put some sense into him that she is probably very busy in the temple or around the island. "Plus she hasn't communicated with anyone for over 1,000 years let her settle in first, and get use to her powers even before bothering to fight her" king said knowing that kid hasn't got a chance to land anything on her not even he could when they were kids training and playing on their old island that once was full of life.

"Wait! You're saying that Angel has been alone all these wheats and you haven't bothered to see her!" MK yelled at his mentor as he chocked on a bit of chip before looking over his cloud down at the kid.

"Cant a monkey have a break once in a while after hearing that their long lost friend was announced dead after not coming back for over 5 months!.... you know what! forget I said anything" he said angrily before realising the mistake he has made telling the kid a bit more than he should about Angel. Staying on his cloud taking the anger out on his potato chips thinking about his past life with Angel who was once called 'Aurora'.

"Sounds like you guys had it rough" MK said feeling sorry for him and the goddess.

"Don't sweat it kid.... I'm sure we'll be able to make her feel better trust me" king said feeling less mad than he did before still eating his potato chips. "Oh, Also I need to you to get are order at the piggy's noodle shop to get an order for me..... don't mess it up it's very important!" King said seriously as Mk body went stiff knowing he can't muck this up or his would be screwed since he's the delivery noodle boy and a hero in training.

"On it!" He responded as he quickly began to head by to noodle restaurant while now key king went to check on Angel who was looking around the temple.

"Looks like you're settling in great" he said causing her to jump as he tail jolted straight too before turning to face him. "Did I scare you?" He said with a chuckle on his cloud still with some potato chips.

"Yeah, but Really junk food" she pointed out crossing her arms with a little smile while king jumped off his cloud in front of Angel.

"I was wondering, how did you get home from macaque's island?" He asked as Angel grew unsure but remembered that moment clear as day.

"I uh, used my staff" she said with a smile that wasn't really convincing for Sun as he stood with crossed arms and a non-convinced expression. "Okay, okay but I ddI you my staff but also these golden glowing like wings came out allowing me to dive down to collide into the shadow monster but it took the shape of my brother" she said finally telling Sun that she actually hasn't something over than a staff but hasn't got full control of her powers just yet.

"I could help you control your magic powers if you have more than some gorgeous wings?" He said in a funny way as she laughed at him in response making her feel better.

"If you can withstand it" she said with a smile as he smiled back at her before hearing tired screeching while a voice was heard breathing heavily heading towards the temple as Sun went in front on Angel acting normal eating his chips with a serious expression before seeing MK come around the corner of the open temple door with the order he was told to bring.

"Ah, it's here! Thanks kid!" King said taking it off MK as he closed the door behind him as he sat on the floor exhausted while king brought the bag to Angel. "You have to try these dumplings! You'll love them" he said before grabbing one holding it out for Angle to grab waiting for her to take it.

"Dumpling?" She said before grabbing the hot bun as it burned her hands as she passed it to one and to another.

"Be careful it's hot!" King exclaimed worried but also trying to stop her from burning her hands as she blew on it but instead of a normal breeze a huge gust of wind came through causing king to keep his stance bracing himself from flying away while MK collided with the door unable to move as it quickly stopped releasing the kid after She realised that she blew her dumping into the air so she went after it. She jumped from each pole getting higher and higher while MK and king watched shocked about how quick she took off for only 1 dumpling before safely grabbing it and landed back onto the floor again.

"I got it!" She said with a smile leaving them both lost of breath with the sudden experience with one of her powers as she took a bite of a dumpling while her eyes sparkled at how good it was. "Sun you were right these are amazing!" She said going to king before continuing to eat her dumpling with a mouthful of flavour whiling sitting in the floor near king.

"I'm glad that you like it but in case you did I got you some more" king said as he placed a bag beside her with dumplings in them before putting her hand in taking one out.

"You're sitting with me... both of you" she said looking at king heading him a dumping as he sighed with a smile not wanting to miss this opportunity on catching up with her so he sat down next to her with dumping in hand.

"Come on kid! She means you too!" King said waving his hand in a gesture for MK to come to them so he got back into his feet and went to them and sat down while king tossed him a dumpling.

"Thank you" MK said with a smile as he smiled back glad to share with them both and to have company after so many years.

"It glad to see you again, and I mean it. It was getting quite lonely being immortal without your only living friend" king said with a sigh glad that you weren't dead but he only found her about her still alive mainly thanks to macaque a few weeks back for telling him on purpose teasing him about something or someone so personally close to him making him want to find her.

"Me too" she responded before hugging the monkey boy who was shocked since it had been awhile since he had a hug from someone he actually knew. He hugged back not being rude to the goddess before parting ways couple seconds later to continue eating dumplings.

"Don't day a word kid" king said as MK quietly snickered at king who was lightly blushing embarrassed from shock and for his successor mocking him.
