1 Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Monarch Of The Black Star.

"Chen Li Jun. prepare to die!" Shouted Zhu Lan. Li Jun Sighed and shook his head "Zhu Lan I treated you as a brother and this is how you repay me?" Zhu Lan lunged forwards with his sword outstretched. Li Jun stopped the blade with his index finger causing the whole sword to shatter until only dust was left.

"How is this possible? You broke through the Chaos Destruction stage?" Zhu Lan screamed. Li Jun stood unfazed by his question. He let out another sigh. "I did. Now do you see the difference between us? You couldn't kill me if I gave you another thousand years to cultivate. You killed your own disciples. But most importantly you killed mine!" Li Jun reached out his hand to let out his spiritual energy and pressed Zhu Lan to the ground. The force was enough to move the planet out of its orbit and sent them both flying through space.

"Wait! Li Jun please don't kill me! We are sworn brothers! Aren't we!?" Zhu Lan Croaked out as he was being crushed more and more as time went on. Li Jun stepped forwards and unsheathed a sword of his own. "The biggest regret I will have in life Is having a brother like you." Li Jun raised the blade above the neck of Zhu Lan.

A few seconds of anticipation went by before Zhu Lan burst into a fit of laughter. "You are too arrogant my dear friend." Li Jun gasped as he fell to the ground with a burning sensation all over his body . What is happening to me? He thought as he felt a sharp pain in his back. He reached his arm to were the pain came from and pulled out a dagger. He looked at it for a second as he saw the poisonous Qi leaking from it. "Xue Yan... I stand corrected. My biggest regret in life is taking you as a wife." He shouted before coughing up blood.

Xue Yan appeared by Zhu Lan's side. "This is what you get for not giving your wife enough attention!" Zhu Lan shouted before kissing Xue Yan. Li Jun laughed to him self before slowly pulling himself to his feet. "You got me pretty good with that one." He dropped the dagger on the floor. "I think I might actually die from that. Well if that's the case I don't mind dragging you both down with me." He sucked in all the Qi from the current planet he was on.

"Li Jun! Have you gone mad!? You won't be able to handle that much Qi!!!" Zhu Lan Screamed before launching an attack to stop him. "That's the point..." Li Jun closed his eyes to accept death as all the Qi he had stored erupted causing the whole universe to be destroyed.

Li Jun was plunged into darkness as he thought to himself. "I hope that took care of things." He then realised something he didn't expect. His body was aching all over. "Chen Li Jun!" A voice shouted towards him. He opened his eyes and shot to his feet as fast as he could. He took a second to check his surroundings. He was on a solid stone stage with an audience of people all staring at him. He looked towards where the voice had come from. There was an old man with long grey hair and a scruffy beard stood looking down at him. "If you don't want to fight then just say so. There is no need to play dead." He put his hand on his shoulder. "Now go sit back down." The old man pointed down to a group of kids who were laughing at him. Li Jun walked towards the stairs lost in his own thoughts. He stumbled at the top of the stairs and fell down face first. He quickly caught himself with his hands. The people sat in the audience seats all laughed at the sight.

"That's what he gets! A stupid cripple like him want to fight against Luo Tang The genius of Crimson Leaf sect? He is just asking for death!" One person yelled from the audience. Li Jun got up and walked towards the exit behind the children. As he got closer he realised he was in fact the same height as these kids who were now stood in front of him. He looked down at his hand to see they were smaller than he remembered. His body felt extremely light but most importantly he felt no Qi within his body at all. I guess it's true I am a cripple. He thought to himself before walking to the exit. a girl pushed her way through the other kids She had long straight black hair and green eyes that seemed to pity him. She was wearing her blue sect clothing and had a single golden hair tie holding a thin braid on the left side of her head. "Li Jun. Don't be upset If anyone dares to treat you badly I will mess them up." She put a fist in front of her face and giggled.

Li Jun stood for a second confused but used his spiritual sense to merge all his scattered memories. He felt a shock through his body as all the memories now fused together to make sense. He now had a little understanding as to what was happening to him. He was in the body of a thirteen year old boy who coincidentally has the name Chen Li Jun also. He was currently in Sheng town. It was a small rural town in the Han Mu empire . The World was split into three main continents The Lower domain, The middle domain and The higher domain. The Han Mu empire is located in the Middle domain. He then Looked back into personal memories. His farther is a fisherman called Chen Huan who was kicked out of the main family for not being able to cultivate and his mother was a simple house wife called Chen Yi Dai. He also had a little sister Called Chen Jia.

And the girl in front of him now was. Tang Ying Yue. No one knew her true origin. She moved into Sheng Town With her parents around four years ago. Her family was quickly accepted by everyone due to their vast wealth and power. Her father is an eighth layer Nascent Soul stage martial artist and her mother is a fifth layer. He took a few minutes grasping the situation he was in when he came to a sudden realisation. "I still feel it!"

"What do you feel?" Ying Yue Leaned towards him. "Nothing. I will talk to you later Ying Yue!" Li Jun shouted before running off to find a quiet spot to confirm a thought he had. He ran and ran further away from the busy town into a field where there was a huge lake surrounded by trees. He sat down by the edge of the lake and made sure no one was around. He had the image of a ring with the shape of a dragon that had golden scales, green eyes and with a purple coloured gem in it's mouth. "As I thought... The dragon emperor ring. You have a lot of mysteries but I'm glad you are still with me." He put the ring on his finger. It suddenly felt heavy and pinned his arm to the ground. "damn I guess this is the result of having a crippled body. Now lets get this issue out of the way."

He sat there with his back to a tree that over looked the lake and used his spiritual sense to find the issue with his body. "Ah, it's only a broken dantian? I was worried for a second. I thought I would have to form a new one. I just need to control the Qi and put the broken pieces back together." He focused on controlling his Qi and directing it towards his dantian. After an hour of work he had finally fixed his once broken dantian. He sat there thinking for a few seconds. What technique should I cultivate? Maybe Wrath of The lunar cycle? No I need to create a solid foundation I don't need to get to True Immortal realm within the next five hundred years. I should take It slow It will benefit me more. He thought to himself as he searched his memory for something suitable.

How about that one? The Abandoned God of Desolation. I'm pretty sure no one has used this technique for Eons. I had to spend two hundred years to refine the tablet into readable text. It really was too bad I couldn't use it before. The problem with this technique is that no matter what you will not be able to use any other cultivation techniques If you decide to use this. And if you already have a base in cultivation you would need to destroy it before using this. I don't exactly know the speed of this technique but the foundation seems quite strong. But I might as well try it. I have already lived for nearly ten thousand years I don't really care if I live much longer. He thought to himself before making a final decision.

Li Jun sat quietly reciting the words of the technique in his head and channelling Qi into his dantian. An hour went by before he heard a pop and his body began to vibrate. The Qi in his body began to circulate through his meridians this was confirmation he had reached the Qi Refining stage.

He sat for a few more minutes before breaking through three layers at once entering the fourth layer of Qi Refining. "Woah... What's with this efficiency? I broke through three times at once? My foundation is also as stable as It usually is at the core formation..."

He tried not to over think it. He opened his eyes to see the sun was about to set. "Now what should I do? I have a family that is probably worrying about me. This is quite troubling but maybe since I'm a child right now I shouldn't reveal my strength just yet? I'm not sure I can defend myself against any experts yet." On his way home he spotted a group of boys around his age in an alley way.

"Get it! Get that damn thing and kill it I want it's core!" One of the boys pointed. Li Jun used his spiritual sense to see what was going on. There was a small white fox backed into the corner of a building. One of the boys. A small fat boy with a bowl cut stepped towards the fox with a knife. "Come here little fox I won't hurt you." He said through a sinister looking grin.

Li Jun stepped into the Alley. "Hey leave it alone!" He shouted to them. "Huh who said that?" A taller scrawny looking boy turned around and shouted. He laughed before turning back to the third one. "It's just that dumb cripple Li Jun. Hahaha" all three of them laughed before they turned back towards him. "Go away or we will kill you as well!" The third boy shouted.

"Is that so?" Li Jun said quietly before using a movement technique to appear next to them almost instantly. He grabbed the knife from the first boy and punched him in the face knocking him out instantly. He turned to the second boy and kneed him in the stomach sending him to the ground gasping for air. The third boy backed up and pressed himself against the wall. "Do you know who I am? Mu Hao Ba. My brother is Mu Luo Tang if you hurt me who knows what will happen to you?" He began to form a sinister smile on his face. Li Jun saw this and before he could finish, he slapped him. The boy's head turned to the side "Didn't you hear me my brother is!!!" He was slapped again this time on the opposite side of his face.

"So you want to kill me is that right?" Li Jun asked before putting the blade of the knife to the boy's neck. "No I was just joking around why would I want to kill you?" He put his hands in the air and began to tremble. He closed his eyes before a sound of trickling water could be heard. Li Jun looked down to see a puddle of urine on the floor beneath the boy.

"I'm only kidding don't be so serious. You might have a heart attack." Li Jun said before dropping the knife. The two boys carried their unconscious friend back out on to the main street and Li Jun turned to face the fox that was still cowering in the corner. "A fox spirit? Hmm you're quite the rare sight. A whole universe usually has around three thousand of you guys... What are you doing here."

"Please don't hurt me!" The fox spirit squeaked out. Li Jun laughed. "You have an owner already. I'm not stupid enough to hurt you. I would prefer not to die any time soon." He said before inspecting the contract mark. And by the looks of it a pretty strong owner too.

"Ahem. Well said. You are very smart for your age young one." A gentle voice called out from behind him. Li Jun turned around to see the elder who stopped the fight earlier on in the day. He took a moment to remember his name. "Elder Zhou. Hi this little guy must belong to you right?" He said with a forced smile. Please tell me he didn't hear what I said. He thought whilst still holding his smile. The little fox spirit ran over to Elder Zhou and sat on his shoulder.

Elder Zhou smiled back. "You don't have to force yourself. Don't worry I won't tell anyone your little secret. I wouldn't want your master looking for me now." He chuckled before walking away. He stopped in his tracks after a few steps. "Oh and here is for taking care of those troublesome kids for me." He threw a small pouch. Li Jun caught it. "No problem!" He shouted back. "Haha. I know it's not. I will bring you somewhere in three days. I'm sure this young ones mother want's to thank you as well." He then walked away. He also has a mature fox spirit!? Someone of his strength shouldn't be in this world. I wonder what he is up to?

"What is someone with his power doing in this small town?" Li Jun said before returning home also. When he arrived at home his parent's were already sleeping so he sneakily crept through the house hoping not to wake them and finally made it back to his room and looked through the bag Elder Zhou had given him. Eight Qi Purifying pills, Six body strengthening pills and a lower tier relic sword. The bag also had the law of space infused with it and had the space of ten cubic meters. The sword was really high quality to give to someone of my level he thought "I can be sure of two things. This Elder Zhou has a lot of secrets and he also thinks I have a master who repaired my dantian." Li Jun absorbed all of the pills before cultivating the whole night.
