As Yuze said that he pulled out the cultivation technique out of his inventory it was in a glass scroll with hue of death and darkness oozing out of it. As soon as it was completely out of the inventory space it directly went inside Yuze's head.
His spirit energy started flowing in a specific path throughout his body and the speed increased with each turn soon his pure white spirit energy turned dark purple and Yuze entered in a trance.
Yuze woke up with sun rays falling on his face.
"How long have I been cultivating? " Yuze asked his system.
*It's been eight hours*
"It's been that long ? I need to hurry up."

MC POV-
I woke up and got dressed up and as I opened the door I saw a maid standing.
"The pope has asked me to bring you to the dining hall,"she said.
"Please lead the way."
As I followed her and as we reached the hall she opened the doors for me and let me go in.
As I went in I saw a master sitting at the end of a long table filled to the brim with foods and drinks.
I bowed a little and greeted her.
"Come over here Yuze sit beside me." she said pointing to an empty seat beside her and continued.
"Have your breakfast after you finish. I'll personally take you to hunt for your first soul ring."
I didn't speak any further and went straight to the seat and started having my breakfast.
After I finished she told me to follow her. She stopped in an open balcony and said "It takes quite a long time to reach Star dou forest by carriage but being a pope I don't have much time on my hand so we'll just fly there."
" I can understand master. " I said and as soon as I finished speaking she picked me up with her soul power and started flying towards the forest with insane speed but I couldn't feel any air resistance as she made a shield around me.
We flew for 2 hours straight and I could see the outer area of the forest but she didn't slow down. I suddenly saw a wave of spiritual power coming out of her body and travelling far towards the forest, then she suddenly changed her direction a bit and flew even faster towards the forest.
Normally it would have been impossible to see spiritual power but the passive skill I get from my eyes lets me see every energy around me so it's easy for me.
As we approached a part of the forest that seemed gloomy as it was void of life, the trees were wilted and there was no grass and almost no light to be seen.
She walked towards what seemed to be a small lake of black water and suddenly released a bit of her power and I saw a shadow-like creature fly out of the water and trying to vanish into the forest but she appeared in front of it and grabbed it by the neck and threw it towards me.
I jumped back as if I didn't I would collide with it.
"It is a mutated shadow crocodile around 1000 years in age suitable for your martial soul it has strong defence, attack and speed
a rare mutation where it receives enhancement in all its attributes it'll most probably provide you with an all attribute buff skill."
"But master isn't 420 years the maximum age for the first soul ring?" I asked, giving a curious look.
"Yes it is but those are for normal people. You aren't normal at all. I check your endurance when I held your hands. With such a strong body you can easily absorb a ring of 1000 years of age. Now don't waste time and kill it." she said.
She withdrew her aura and the crocodile came towards me with great speed.
As it was just about to approach me it collided with what seemed to a black wall and as the wall vanished it fell to the ground with a large hole in its head and a purple soul ring floated above it.
i kicked its head and blood spat all over the already bloody ground and said in a low voice,
"It's not polite to jump on my face like that."
Killing it was easy, I just had to control the shadow to make a wall and when it was just about to hit the wall I made a large spike come out of the wall at the exact moment and that penetrated its head.
He died because he used too much force to tackle me. Such a miserable way to die.
"That was fast thinking, a good execution and a good control over your ability." she said.
"Thankyou for your praise, master." I said bowing a little.
"Now don't waste time and quickly absorb the ring." she urged.
I controlled the shadow and all the blood got absorbed in them. I sat cross legged on the now clean ground and pulled the ring in my body and started absorbing it.

A wave of conqueror's haki with black lightning came out of my body and travelled for hundreds of metres before vanishing. I made all the shadows around into a sphere and released all the aura of my physique inside it and made it burst open.
I stood up and my master threw a pair of clothes towards me as my clothes were torn open.
"You awakened your physique, that explains why you gained so many levels of soul power in one go."
So It worked. I did all this just so that I could explain how I gained so much soul power in one go.
"Yes master, that seems to be the case,"I said.
"What did you get as your first skill?"she said.
"umm it's known as the Monarch's authority. it's essentially telekinesis but better "i said.
"How so?" she enquired.
I didn't speak much just possessed my martial soul as the armour enveloped me my hair turned grey, I activated my first soul skill developed my hands with monarch's authority , my fist rediated a purple hue and the space around my hands seemed to bend, even the light bent while passing through my fists then I punched a tree trunk just present beside me.
Time seemed to get slower and after i punched a

sound erupted and anything and everything in the 25 metres range of my fist just became fine dust as if they just vanished from existence.
After being satisfied with the skill I looked at the master. She had a large smile on her face.
"As expected of my first disciple you didn't fail to amaze me. It is a really versatile ability as it seems to have the power of a space system. I can think of a lot of ways to use a technique like that but I would like for you to figure out its other applications by yourself." she said
"I'll keep that in mind master"I said
I pointed at the black lake and said "master I see energy radiating from that lake"
"It's what caused the mutation in the crocodile, it's a rare space attribute spiritual treasure, it probably also contains dark attribute energy. I was going to collect it after you complicated your absorption but didn't expect you to see its energy. Those eyes of yours are just a cheat." she said then made the pearl flow into her hands from below the lake and threw it towards me.
"Keep it with you, it'll help you increase your cultivation speed." she said.
I bowed a little and thanked her for the gift.
And after that our task in the forest was over so we started our journey towards the martial hall.
