5 The mysterious family

Krystal and Adina were collecting their things when Krystal said,"Was he serious? What even goes in that thick skull of his? He's a fool to even think that we can get a scoop from them." Adina was lost in her own thoughts so she replied with a dry 'hmm' and 'yes'. Krystal continued on her track with Adina by her side. She said again,"Simmons freaking brothers. He thinks he can get a scoop from them. What a joke?Ha!"

"Yea" Adina's eyes were unfocused.

"I know, right! They are the most mysterious figures in this whole freaking universe. Now I get it, why he wanted a meeting with all the assistants. I bet all the seniors denied this 'golden opportunity'" she quoted sarcastically then continued, "Well, any sane person would do. Who would want to waste their precious time on them to just have futile results?Not me, for sure."

This time Adina didn't reply but stopped in her tracks so Krystal turned around and said,"What hap-.." She didn't complete her own sentence and her eyes became as wide as saucers. She said shaking Adina by her shoulders,"Are you freaking serious? DO NOT tell me that you are contemplating on taking up this job." Adina opened her mouth to say something but was not able to utter a word as Krystal continued,"No! No way in the bloody hell!! Have you lost your mind or what? I don't wanna hear your answer. You have gone loony to even think about it. I'm getting back to work. And YOU need a break sweetie. Go grab yourself a coffee in the cafeteria and give your stupid brain a little rest."

With a roll of her eyes Krystal went back to her work. She was not exactly wrong in getting mad over Adina for this matter. Ian Simmons and Aiden Simmons, popularly known as Simmons brothers were actually the most mysterious beings on this planet. To be frank, the whole Simmons family is quite mysterious but the two brothers were on the next level. Whenever they were invited to a party or even an award function, always, somebody else on behalf of them attended it. And in aspect of interviews and all .. well, you must be wise enough to understand it after the meeting. The only one in the family who had shown her face to the public was Michelle Simmons, the grandmother of the Simmons brothers and the eldest in the family but even she was mysterious nonetheless, just a little bit less than the others.

Everybody in the urban and the suburb areas knew about the Simmons and their empire. The new generation of the Simmons family, Ian and Aiden, helped in making their empire stronger and wider. They were returning home after extending their empire, far and wide in foreign. Even after being such big public figures, only an insignificant amount of information was public records and 'why?' was the question, unanswered.

People suspected the brothers to be in their 20's though nobody was sure about their exact age. According to the rumours, the twins were coming back from France the coming monday.Their director was so desperate of getting an interview from them because they both had won 'The entrepreneur of the year award'.
