7 Chapter 6

Logan arrived home late that night and went to his room straight without stopping for dinner.

When Logan arrived inside his room and placed his hand on a wall and suddenly a blue light scanned his hand and the wall revealed a special cabinet, after confirming Logan's identity.

Logan smiled and open the cabinet and took out a bottle of whiskey. Logan smiled because he was also an adult in his previous life but never get the chance to taste this much expensive brand of whiskey and with his current body drinking alcohol will not be a problem.

Logan had just opened the bottle but suddenly he felt that someone was watching him and he quickly turned around and saw Alfred standing there behind him.

Logan looked at Alfred before taking out another glass and asked," Are you keep going to stand there or help me make the drink."

Alfred smiled and sat near Logan and made drinks for both of them.

Logan took his glass from Alfred and take a sip with a victorious smile. Logan asked," Has Olivia gone to sleep?"

Alfred asked with a smirk," Why? are you afraid of her"

Logan smiled and replied," I just don't want her to see that the child she raised for 3 years with love and care is raising a glass of Whiskey with her husband."

Alfred nodded and said," Yeah, she will be very mad and God knows what will happen with our food."

Logan nodded in agreement while Alfred said," Look you have been working since you were 8 and in these 3 years you haven't done anything of your age so I and Olivia just wanted to tell you that you should do something of your age and call Mr and Mrs Dunphy for dinner."

Alfred smiled apologetically and Logan just looked at him with a blank look and asked," Did Olivia ask you to convince me?"

Alfred nodded and said," She told me yesterday to talk to you and I was going to talk to you about this today but I forget because of so much paperwork and ruckus at the office."

Logan asked," So why didn't you try to convince her that we just become friends yesterday and I don't even have her number?"

Alfred replied with a sigh," Haah, I tried but she again started with her all household reputation thing."

Logan facepalm and said," Haaah, oh God does she have history as her subject in high school or does she think we are royalty, okay I will invite them but what about next time should I purchase a 150 carat Diamond for them."

Alfred nodded in understanding and said," I know but are your balls made of iron so you can go and tell her that this is all nonsense."

Logan was about to say yes but he remembered the memories of how she took care of old Logan and repaired his broken heart piece by piece with her love. he exhaled and said," I will ask them two times with my best efforts and if they didn't accept the invitation then I can't do anything."

Alfred nodded and just finished his drink. After chatting for some more time about other things soon Alfred left and Logan also went to sleep because tomorrow he had another appointment with Alex. (An:/ The show didn't specify the period between each episode's story so I will take the first three episode back to back in three days and will do a time skip for the fourth episode. please tell me if it's okay.)

He remembers that tomorrow Alex will go shopping with Gloria while Manny will stay with Claire and he doesn't know if he will get a chance to meet them.

Logan just leave it to tomorrow and fall asleep with a smile on his, why? no one knows.

Next Day

Logan woke up and freshen up, he come downstairs and have his breakfast. during breakfast, he explained to Alfred that he won't be attending any meetings for today and that he has to handle everything.

Alfred just nodded and after finishing their breakfast both of them left for Alex's house on the way Alfred gave Logan a number and told him," This is the number of the driver, you can call him and he pick you up and take you wherever you want."

Logan took the card and said," Why can't you just force them to make me a special case driving license?"

Alfred asked," So you want me to bribe them now?"

Logan nodded and said," Yeah something like that and please do this as soon as possible."

Alfred just exhaled at how much more work he will have to deal with and nodded. soon both of them reached in front of Dunphy's house, Logan got off the car and Alfred drive away.

Logan rang the bell and Alex opened the door almost instantly, Logan smiled and asked," Were you waiting for me so much that it didn't take you even ten seconds to open the door?"

Alex smiled and said," for your kind information, it was not funny and I just happened to come downstairs when you rang the bell. now get inside."

Logan nodded and followed Alex, he said with sarcasm," Nice top by the way are you going in a Ball of 1890s."

Alex just huffed and said," I am going to a wedding and my mom asked me to choose clothes for it."

Logan smiled and asked," And this is the best you can come up with?"

Alex gets more annoyed but didn't say anything and Logan just chuckled. in the living room Alex asked Claire," Mom, I think I will wear a dress at the wedding but I will never choose anything from Hailey's clothes."

Claire replied," Okay we will talk about this but first you didn't even say 'Hii' to Gloria and Manny here."

Alex give a forced smile and said," Hii Glory and Manny."

Gloria and Manny also said 'Hii' then Gloria looked at Logan on the side and asked," Ohh, who might this pretty boy be?"

Claire smiled and said," He is Alex's classmate 'Logan Wilson' here for a school project."

Gloria was surprised and asked," Are talking about that 'Logan Wilson' whose face keeps coming in a newzz paper's front page in big big letters?"

Claire nodded and Logan smiled and said," Hello, Mrs Pritchett and Manny."

Gloria nodded with a smile and asked Alex," So Alex you were saying something about a new dress."

Alex nodded and said," Yeah, I want to buy one but I don't have anyone to take me shopping and looks like no one will pay for it."

Logan on the side looks down at himself as if making sure he is invisible or not and then thought, 'Yeah, not like I am her boyfriend or something and I wasn't even excited to go shopping with Alex....I was really not.'

Gloria asked," Would you like me to take you shopping and buy you a new dress?"

Claire tried to stop Gloria," No Gloria, you don't need to do this."

Gloria smiled and said," come on Claire, Maybe I am Step but I am still her grandmother and Jay has been earning a lot of money so it's not a big deal."

Logan on the side was noticing changes in Claire's behaviour and he knows she was getting angry at Gloria and was trying her best to control it. he just shrugged and sit on the couch and pulled out his books and laptop.
