12 Tournament (3)

Walking into the changing room he kept to himself and thought about what he should do after he killed the night eye bastards.

[Well you should start by destroying the puny universe that will invade. It is a good start, damn fool!]

This was the voice of Damon who had disturbed him ever since his consciousness was in the demon mark (black tattoo).

'Fuck you, old man! I know you're a celestial demon god but why bully your descendant?'

[I can't have my descendant being a fool, it would leave a mark on my reputation and not a good one at that]

Twitching his lips he said again 'why do you bother me of all people go find another descendant damn old man'

[Other descendants! what are those, I possessed who I saw!] He says giving a mental shrug.

'You just want to bother me don't you, anyway just don't bother me if you have nothing good to say' he said annoyed.

[Eh look at you talking to me like that now, without me you'd have no way to advance your ability plus your view is too limited and of course your last flaw you have no experience in conversation so I will be your mentor in those aspects]

'What do you mean that I have no experience in conversation?' He asks, his lower lips protruded in a sulky pout.

[well you are used to being part of the strongest teens on earth so you have no experience talking to those your age or younger so later when you enter other dimensions you will meet most your age with your power so you will have to learn how to communicate or else you would be known as a tsundere little one. Kekeke]

'Fine! You have the extra time so just do it' annoyed he says walking out the room and shutting Damon out of his head.

[Kekeke you passed your first test, you could talk to me with emotions.]

'What's that supposed to mean.'

[finish the preliminaries and hand over the rest of the matches to the others, and after settling matters you go to the other dimensions to try to earn some quick bucks and gain strength.]

{but you have to get me those thingies you call phones and help me set it up}

Twitching his lips Feng got tired of listening to the old bastard and left to go finish the preliminaries.

[Welcome back everyone the finals are beginning now, for the previous matches we witnessed legendary feats of brilliance. The combo attacks from each team were magnificent but now we've come to the end of the preliminaries of this blitz ball tournament the institutions that remain are Shadow Edge University and Royal University, everyone in the stadium only has one thing in mind and that is to see an all-out match against two top ten universities in the country. Who will win or lose is up to the match that will begin now.]

Looking at his teammates he tried to communicate and said:

"Err, Dainichi use your buddha light to encompass the area around the field, Indra stay with Caladium and co at all times your techniques are suited to one another, Tenjin you stay with Dainichi, Hiruko you with torch and me, Yami make sure you are always somewhere in the middle so it will lessen the use of Dainichi and Tenjin's abilities, Marcella you with Hanuman.

Ugajin the only way you can properly fight is if you have a certain amount of moisture around you, the only person who can generate that amount of moisture is Indra so obviously you're with him. Now do I make myself clear, so now enter formation!"

As they heard him strange looks appeared looking at where he stood after a few seconds of silence Torch moved forward with a worried look on his face and asked Feng a weird question:

"Feng, have you hurt anywhere? Did a ball stray and hit your head you don't seem right to me?"

"Fuck you! A ball hit your head not mine so I try to strike up a little talking and what I receive is this che, I'm better off being bland, just stick to the plan and enter formation! Ungrateful dumbasses!" Of course, the last part was not said loudly.

Looking at each other and the opposing team, large chunks of the earth was split apart when they moved, at the same time different energies erupted and it was coming from the side of the shadow edge team, it was the unassuming teammates who had done nothing but watch phantom play all this while, all this while the royal universities team had thought they hid well but it turned out that they had been outsmarted by those on the opposing team.

The energy that had erupted moved for the ball and upon reaching the ball two shadows had already formed kicking the ball forward.

Feng looking at his teammates started to give out orders, "Dainichi use your buddha light to disperse the shadows, Torch and Hiruko beside me, looks like this is gonna be tougher than we thought,"

"Since it's tougher, then let us give it a go" Torch says lighting up his hair.

Hiruko had also started to give off a warm burning aura. Phantom who had been waiting for them gave Feng a big grin and started to speak:

"Lin Feng of Asura palace nice to meet you, I'm Phantom an un-affiliated cultivator"

With sweat on his head, Feng looked at phantom with warily and said:

"What do you know! Damn bastard."

[Eh good, so you can speak to someone warily, you also added an insult excellent. let's see what else you can do in a conversation}

'Che I'm only doing this because I'm gonna need it in the future, hmm eh why are you so quiet proteus, speak a little'

{Master it's just that the old man has power, and he is also incredibly annoying, so without sufficient power we'd die by talking bad behind him}

Listening to proteus and ignoring phantom he had started to ask the old man various questions.

'Old man what else do you have to offer other than conversation classes?'

[I have information on how to advance your bloodline and I said that before]

'Other than that, any information on universes?'

[Not at all!]

'Then what's the point of having someone who can't give you information cheats'

[You didn't let me finish, I only retained valuable information, I might remember if you get me the latest model laptop too.]

Realizing that this old man planned to milk him dry, he chose to focus his attention on Phantom who was wondering what he was thinking about.

"Umm are we doing this or what?"

"Eh okay I was thinking of something,"

Watching this conversation between the two edgelords torch had started to scratch his head and Hiruko shaking his head just kept increasing his aura.

Feng cocked his head as if telling Phantom to take the first move.

With loud peng sounds, multiple shadows formed and had started to surround them. Looking at this Feng snorted and took in a large breath and brought out mist along with it, Myriad humanoid figures were formed from the mist blocking the shadows from attacking them.

"I knew you had something up your sleeve but I'm afraid this isn't going to be enough"

"Eh, what do you know?"

"I know a lot of things Feng."

Ignoring that last comment he jumped forward and moved to the ball, like a lightning flash he had reached the ball and like a thunder rumble the ball had disappeared quickly, looking around the pitch he saw it at the legs of Phantom.

Looking at him Feng shouted, "DAMN YOU!!!"

With a loud roar, he infused one of his mist constructs with his energy and leveled it a little, and sending it a mental command to attack the shadow constructs.

Looking at the mist construct that was evolved, he felt that this one had more intelligence and fighting power, his first thoughts were to kill it and score first.

With the ball in hand, Phantom formed a shadow just before the defensive barriers of the royal team.

With a small thought, he had already arrived in front of the post with no surprise to this Dainichi, and Tenjin had put up barriers already, laughing evilly he thought:

'Hehe I'm not that predictable after all I am called Phantom the epitome of unpredictability'

With a thought the shadows which energy-mist had been fighting disappeared and appeared around the barrier and shot out their arms forming a purplish-black flame that destroyed the barrier.

"My shadow flame, though I can cast it myself I am too lazy, so? Who wanna try me next?"

With a cold smirk and those words, he looked arrogantly at the others on the pitch.

The others on the field and in the audience looked at this monstrosity of a person who seemed equal to the other monstrosity Feng.

In the minds of the asuras and the other pros, there was no way he was an unaffiliated cultivator.

Amidst the chaos, phantom shot the ball towards the post, successfully scoring a goal. With his power, he had proved he could do more than switch and he had already scored a valid goal against the asuras, something no one had done yet.
