Shopping... not what I wished for

After harry went towards Gringotts ,I looked at the slip and things that I needed to buy. But suddenly Professor gave me a name tag.

MM:" Oh dear , its looked like I forget to explained every magician in measured how strong he is by strength of his magical core. then shopping went usually...Professor bought the cheapest uniform which included

1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

Meanwhile cloths were getting resized professor told me that I only gets 100G a year so its better to spend wisely. sigh....i can't tell her that money would not be problem after today. :) LOL...

After that we went to Flourish and Blotts where the shelves were stacked to the ceiling with books as large as paving stones bound in leather; books the size of postage stamps in covers of silk; books full of peculiar symbols and a few books with nothing in them at all. 'for one minute i wanted to buy whole shop. bet then looked at professor who suggest to buy books second hand as new one would be quit expensive....firstly i tried to evade he suggestion but when I came to new that new set cost 53G and old one only 9Gthen I just have to agree for now. I also kept taking their card for any future shopping.

COURSE BOOKS were almost same except for Dumbledore's book. Professor also told about top three wizard of world Nicolas flamel being only legendary wizard of world, flowed by Grindelwald and Albus. Which caused me to confused..because somethings were changed while others war same as cannon....this is definatly AU. were only voldyshort was preset. Anyway i bought all the syllabus books

Then we visited the Apothecary, which was fascinating enough to make up for its horrible smell, a mixture of bad eggs and rotted cabbages. Barrels of slimy stuff stood on the floor; jars of herbs, dried roots, and bright powders lined the walls; bundles of feathers, strings of fangs, and snarled claws hung from the ceiling and bought 1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2), 1 set of glass or crystal phials, 1 telescope set, 1 brass scales.

As we were passing Eeylops Owl Emporium I looked at various magical birds and owls.

Soon we came in front of a shop which had gold letters over the door read "Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C." A single wand lay on a faded purple cushion in the window. As soon we entered

"Good afternoon," said a soft voice. An old man was standing before us, his wide, pale eyes shining like moons through the gloom of the shop. I smiled lightly and said "Hello, I am Dudley Dursley ". Mr. Ollivander moved closer giving a piercing look. Then give a look that he was not interested for a sec. and it vanished other.

"Well, now — Mr. Dursley. Let me see." He pulled a long tape measure with silver markings out of his pocket. "Which is your wand arm?" "Er — well, I'm right-handed,"

"Hold out your arm. That's it." He measured from shoulder to

finger, then wrist to elbow, shoulder to floor, knee to armpit and round his head.

As he measured, he said, "Every Ollivander wand has a core of a powerful

magical substance,....(all other shenanigan that i didn't listened)

Mr. Ollivander was flitting around the shelves, taking down boxes.

"That will do," he said, and the tape measure crumpled into a heap on the

floor. "Right then, Mr. Dursley. Try this one. Beechwood and dragon heartstring.

Nine inches. Nice and flexible. just take it and give it a wave." after olivander continued to bring out wand after wand.

Finally the wand that react was oak and dragon heartstring 11inch long. It was little bendy Olivender have a slip that read "A wand for good times and bad, this is a friend as loyal as the wizard who deserves it , core inclination being somewhat temperamental. Wands of English oak demand partners of strength, courage and fidelity."

I gave Olivander 13G for the wand leaving only 12G 3S For whole year. After that professor Apperated directly to my room and told "Harry would come in evening." and she apperated away. i kept everything on floor and and lay down on my be then remembered that I forget to buy a trunk... well no problem...I would buy after some days.... today was my first step in wizarding world.
