Chapter 2: The Fallen Cross

   July 7th UC 0079 Odessa the once city near shore of black Sea capture by zeonic forces on March 1st Zeon major Pierre Andros and his loyal guard prepare for welcome an important guess the Solomon Fallen Cross the unit under Kycillia Zabi orders.

     Lead by ambitious lieutenant Colonel Titus he participate battle of Loum along with Red comet and the Black Tri-Stars Titus known for his sadistically and cruel act when he pilot mobile suit but outside he was charismatic man even Ghiren Zabi also spent time with him. But he served Kycillia instead of Ghiren.

     Thus Titus with his unit arrived in Odessa base he was welcome by Major Pierre Andros one of M'Quve officers both of them shake hands then the atmosphere suddenly change around them the soldiers pay their attention not to Titus but a Women and Young girl her age around 17. People start mumbling about her until Titus introduce her as Newtype and everyone starts to amaze by it her name is Abby Thorne the women next to her is Selena Magna they from Flanagan institute the new civilians institute who being sponsor by Principality of Zeon located at Baldur bay Colony of neutral side 6 (L4).

     But some of high ranking officer questions about her ability and they asking Titus to put her in fight one of them asking to eliminate Federation ground forces near Odessa border. Titus just nod his head he order his unit to prepare for fight tonight they will launch assault to them. Abby were sent to her room for rest Selena and Titus went to met major Pierre Andros at his office.

   " Those asshole!!!? Are they doubt her because she what a child" Selena let her anger out towards the people who question about Abby ability she will talk some sense to them after this but Titus not allowed it" patience Selena let them say what but tonight they will find out how wrong they are" Titus didn't care about those people but he will prove them wrong about it tonight. Titus and Selena arrive at Major office both them received orders directly from Commander M'Quve to eliminate Earth federation ground forces who disrupt the mining activity in eastern Europe.

     Andros also inform Selena Dom Barrage already arrive along with Titus Fully customize Gouf Vijayanta but Abby mobile still hasn't arrived yet. Titus decided Abby should pilot his Gouf becau everyone want to see her capability Andros also dispatch  13th Regiment to support her and Selena and they will be deployed tonight at 23.00.

     As night fall the 13th Regiment already at meeting point lead by young pilot named Max Calum he piloted Zaku F2 type while the rest are ground type Zaku. But there were found by federation scout team thus begin a fight between them Calum loss three mobile suits the rest are mostly damage or malfunction. One of his men spot 2 Ground type GM along with 3 Desert Type GM Calum shots his machine but it hits only one of them.

     " We losing ground Calum what should we do"  Calum order them to hold the position until reinforcement arrived Calum Throw grenade but blocked by the shield the enemy kept shooting the but suddenly everything went silent Calum went to check the area he shock for what he saw. Federation Forces who just ambush them were wiped out he spot two shadows appear it was Gouf type and Dom carried minigun.

    " You from the 13th Regiment I am Selena Magna and this is Abby we the team leader" Selena introduce herself and Abby and Calum just nod he explained to them he took heavily losses which cause disadvantage for them. " Don't worry just three of us we can take it down" Selena took Calum only while his unit were order to return he feel this was stupid idea how can three mobile suit take down an ground forces.

   Calum guide them to the small abandoned town he spotted Federation Forces with Big tray class and some mobile suit also M61A5 battle Tank guard the surrounding area. " Ok I'll already checked the there was no cover place for us even thus enemy had large ground ship so winning chance might be small" after explain the situation to Selena she will be support while Abby and Calum will charge in.

    Just about Selena to finish her plan Calum disagree" This is not gonna work how can three of us took down are large forces" Calum word breaks the silent night but selena just smile and ask him had little faith for them. Hopeless and broken Calum went back to his mobile suit to prepare suddenly Abby appear behind him cause little shock she look through his eyes and says" you not worthy to be Knights" single sentence from her struck his heart that time he felt useless. Selena already went to her position while Abby and Calum went to their position waiting for signal from her.

    Suddenly sound of machine gun rumbling Abby told Calum is time for them to charge federation army we're rest that time suddenly wake by sound of gun exploding around they running to signal help but they saw 2 mobile suit charge in. " Everyone to battle station ambush enemy ambush" federation soldiers warn his comrade some of the mobile suit already destroyed only few remaining tanks also wiped out.

    " Abby you and Calum destroyed the remaining mobile suit I'll deal with the large ship" Selena changed her target to big tray class ship Calum use beam tomahawk to cut enemy Mobile suit. Suddenly Abby boost her Gouf toward enemy she shot with arm machine gun then kicks them down then she move to the next target. Selena still shot the big tray ship while circle around them but she was intercept by Enemy ground type GM she quickly fire her Sturm Faust but one of them manged to evade it.

     It point the gun to her cockpit then suddenly Abby throw shock chain to paralyzed the enemy Mobile suit then Selena Punch with her Boost arm kill the pilots. After eliminate the remaining enemy Titus arrive with reinforcement to swipe the area. " Are you alright Abby, Selena" Titus went to check them and both of them are fine as Calum he still cannot believe for what he sees how Abby actually can move like that and what's her secrets.

    Calum has decided he want to join Fallen Cross so he can be better pilot he approach Titus asking to join his unit his action cause some weird look" Colonel!! Please Let me Join your Unit" Titus turn his eyes to Selena but she shake her head then he looked to Abby she nod slowly. Titus hold both of Calum shoulder " Welcome to the Order" then he asked Calum to report him at Australia with few strength he got he say " yes SIR!!!"
