Legend of the Southern Sea (Yi Sun-Shin x Kadita) Pt1

"Wherever the turtle ship goes, the seas belong to me!". Yi Sun-Shin was a powerful fighter, he boasted excellent aim and excellent swordsmanship, yet... he always looked alone. He went sailing one day accompanied by his friends Lapu-Lapu and Gatotkaca.

"Shin! Why are we out here? Shouldn't we be going north to reach Nost Gal? What's wrong?" Lapu-Lapu asked with a loud and proud voice

"I agree, we shouldn't be going south. There must be a reason why we are here... Isnt there?" Gatotkaca pondered

"Something... Something is drawing me here, I dont know what, its almost like a voice calling for me... Fellow heroes, please forgive me for taking you along if you are upset"

"Nonsense! Adventure, treasure and battle await us in these waters! Imagine Shin! Pirates, sea monsters, sea... umm... sea... food! All for the taking! Dont you agree Gatot?" said Lapu-Lapu happily

"I suppose there is some merit to this adventure..." Said Gatot performing his one-armed push-up

"Thank you fellow heroes, I will find a way to-"

*CRASH* *FLASH*

Dark clouds surrounded the Turtle-ship and soon lightning, whirlpools, heavy winds and a typhoon formed around them causing the boat to violently shake about making the 3 fall to their knees

"W-what is this? this wind? this force? its not natural! Lapu-Lapu! Quick, close the sails, use your blade to cut the support ropes! Gatot, use your strength to steer the ship around!"

The 2 sprung to their feet, hastily carrying out their task, when suddenly...

*THOOOOOOOOOOMMM...."

An enormous wave loomed above the ship preparing to crash down

"Everyone hold on!" Yi Sun-Shin grabbed both his friends and pushed them into the lower cabin deck...

*KRASSHHHH*

...

"Where... am... I?" Yi Sun-Shin opened his eyes, he realized he was at the bottom of the sea, he had no strength left to swim back to the surface, he closed his eyes and began to think, "The last thing I did was save my friends, heh... I have no regrets" he smiled then everything blacked out

*Gasp!*

Coughing and gasping for air, Yi Sun-Shin found himself on the shore of an island and a woman nearby, due to the sand and harsh sunlight in his eyes, he could not see her clearly,

"Miss? Hello? Are you the one who saved me? Hello? Who are you? I was in the middle of the ocean, how did you save me? Let alone survive that sea storm?

The woman quietly stared at him, and placed her hand on his cheek,

"No one has the power to control the seas.... except for me."

"Huh? Who are you? Please, tell me your name so that one day I can return the favor"

"You have no need to pay, you care about others and decided to save them before yourself, that is a good enough price, I am sorry that you were caught up in this, you meant no harm"

"Wait! This voice... are you...?"

*Splash*

"No... Dont go... I must stay awake... I must... find..."

Yi Sun-Shin woke up in his bed on the turtle ship, he looked around surprised and his crew staff alerted the others he had woken up

"Shin! Goodness, you had us worried you old dog! How are you feeling?" Lapu-Lapu asked

"Im fine... how did... you find me?"

"I don't know... we were sailing then as if by magic, we found an island where you were asleep on the shore! Its almost as if the very ocean waves guided us there!" Lapu-Lapu said whilst grinning

"The locals were still in hiding due the storm, so they couldnt find you, but look at you! Its as if you performed CPR on yourself! Hahahahahaha!" Lapu-Lapu added

"Was anyone there when you found me? A women by chance?" Yi Sun-Shin asked

"Ugh creepy... The locals did add something about that..."

"Oh? what was it?"

"Mermaids, they cause disasters and storms, bad-luck all-in-all"

"Mermaids huh..."

Yi Sun-Shin stood up and looked out his window and in the distant horizon, he could just barely make out the silhouette of a woman.
