Miya

In the land of Elves, greeneries flourished along the beaten paths. In this land of paradise, the moon elves thrived due to the blessing of the Moon God.

"Thwack."

The sound of arrows hitting the target resounded throughout the training grounds. "You're really good at this." The Trainer said with an impressed look on his face. "Bullseyes at every target! Miya, are you sure that you're a priestess? 'Cause if I didn't know any better, I'd say that you are a hunter."

"Hahaha..."

"Don't say that. I am a priestess through and through. Only that I enjoy archery." The lady with bow said with a chuckle. She had blue eyes and silver hair that shined under the sunlight. Her elven features was emphasized by the dark curtain of her bangs hanging over face. With the sunlight shining over her, she made a stunning sight.

The Trainer was dazed, the sunlight highlighting her beautiful face. Then he turned away with a snort. "No wonder the boys are always more eager to train when they hear that you're here. They are practically tripping over themselves while over to the barracks. It's truly ridiculous." He said with mirth in his eyes. "Are they?", she said.

"Oh yes, the brats are practically eager to show off their poor skills in an attempt to woo you."

"Surely not, they were probably afraid of you shooting them between their legs. I heard that the so called Demon-of-a-instructor-in-the-training-grounds-is-always-grumpy-because-he-does-not-have-a-lady-elf is very strict.", Miya said.

"Who told you that?"

"One of the trainees last time they talked with me."

The Trainer's already scrunched up face with scars darkened. "Those brats, talking nonsense behind my back! It seems like I did not train them hard enough! Hmph! I'll put them in the wringer this time." He then turned to Miya. "It was nice to have your company this day but I believe that you still have your tasks to do."

"Then I won't tarry any longer. Thank you for you time!", Miya said as she was walking towards the exit.

The heads of the numerous trainees turned as she passed by, seemingly entranced by grace and beauty. This scene was abruptly cut off by a gutteral roar of anger coming from the trainer which shattered their daydreams.

Miya left the barracks laughing to herself as she heard the cries of agony behind her.

Miya trekked back into the temple in high spirits. She exchanged pleasantries with her fellow priestesses and then she went in her quarters to change her sweat soaked clothes. She cleaned herself up as she prepared herself for her duties as a priestess of the temple.

Being a priestess was a high honor for the moon elves for they are directly connected to Moon God and thus they have a high status. Their tasks include praying, healing the sick, purifying water and cleaning the temple. Miya grew up in the temple because her parents died during their hunts. She missed them but the people in the temple was there to comfort her so she didn't feel lonely.

Being a priestess is a hard work but she didn't mind because she like helping others. And that was it all mattered.
