2 Sacrifice - ML Official Story Reworked

Scorching heat brush against their skin as they rushed to the treeline, witnessing the roaring flames that covered the sky in shades of red and auburn. With every step coming to a near echo as they start nearing the Moonlit forest, now in flames and covered in ashy smog.

"Scent of demons everywhere…" Belerick spouts.

Their feet come to a halt as his heads come picking the scene of the forest, grudging to it's given peaceful existence now burned from within. Light emits from Belerick's side as Lunox's hands glow a bright purple.

"I fear that the elves are, let's make haste!" She replied.

One step drew amongst the crackling sound of flames as swift as it comes to a stop, movement breaks the cover of fog in the darkness, bringing lingering eyes to light.

Wretched roars reigned down upon the skies as demonic souls pounce on them, bringing their blades in their grasp with the intent to be used. Cracks soon followed the cries as Belerick brings his arms to the darkened soil, sprouting enormous vines that tower over the two, constricting the limbs of its prey as the demons come short from reaching the ground. Lunox raising her hand towards the roof of vegetation bearing fruits of abyssal presence, releasing a chained golden hue of luminous light, a break flashed through them as orbs rushed out and met their target, leaving through the brushes as they pass through the demonic presence, dripping crimson blood over their heads. Corpses fall then flat on the ground as the vines soon dissipate under the soil, Belerick left to cover his arms in blood.

"Bad stench…"

Streaks of blue light travel through bodies of demons beyond reach, piling up the death count as she drew from her bow, clinging alongside the figure with silver eyes. Soaked in red, Miya sends endless bolts of Moonlit arrows as hordes of scorching demons swarm her and her fellow elves.

"Ugh!, there's no end to this wretched beasts!. She shouts, bringing her back against his.

"There's too many of them for us to hold, but we need to hold on for longer!" he replied.

Her eyes shift to him as the sense of disapproval consumes the tone as blood continues to spill over elven grounds.

"My king, we need to go back! Our people are getting slaughtered by these demons, we need to-"

"If the tree falls then we lose all life to be held, it must stand no matter the cost!" Estes exclaims, staring into Miya as intent insures across his face.

Eruptions of crackling flames echoed loudly within the dense fog as eyes of burning flames seep through as it drew closer to them, a smile soon follows. Rushing demons rush through as more swarm the battlefield, breaking the fog line as they reveal tracks of infernal lava and blaze.

"Weak life." A scorched voice runs through the massacre as his bulky figure shows through the smog, covered in a dark armor with dark flames running through the open seams of the crude figure.

" So the tree is your precious gem, why don't I take it, "King"? "

Roaring flames ignite to explosions as its body leaped through the air, towering over the two elves, as Miya quickly ran towards the tree, her bow aiming to the demon as their bodies crossed. Sparks of clashes gleamed the duel as they fight over the Tree of Life.

"What do you have, to even stop me!" It exclaimed, staring down the bow maiden as her body moves to the front of the tree insight.

"Why not come and figure out for yourself, file demon?" Her tones of sarcasm reach the demon as her bow aligns to it, arms holding steadily as her sight lays dormant on her target. Shock passes through her head as circlings of flames run behind the demon, catching the trails ablaze, it clenching firm to them as they glow a brighter shade of fire.

"Make worthwhile, little elf…" She catches off guard as breaks of red flash across her eyes, the demon dashing right in front of her, feeling tremendous force against her chest as its fist makes contact, sending her body across the field as it comes to a stop against the tree. Noises of gasping for air overwhelms Miya as her eyes linger to the lands in front, feeling her body going numb in pain as it falls flat under the canopy, unable to move.

"That all you got, little elf?" Its voice scorched in satisfaction leaves its mouth as sickles of flames encircle the tree into ablaze, Miya along with it. Echoes of its steps drew closer to her as the heat of the ring of fire begins to overwhelm her, leaving her skin in starts of burning. Bright light warns off the demon as its vision becomes blinding, blurring it across the scene as a figure wearing a crescent moon mark appears across the flames.

"My king…" Her faint voices linger as his arms covered her body, quickly carrying her out of the ring. Dragging their bodies to the limits, they leave as the walling flames engulf around the tree even further. Reaching the excruciating heat, the demons on the field swarm back into the shadows as the skies fills in red.

Shock and despair spread across the elves as the sight of their tree about to spark into flames, screams of glee coming from the retreating horde as tracks of abyss trample over their home, now in ruin.

Movement across the shrubbery run amock within the elves as swords and bows drew towards it, shattered bodies lying in wait as the maiden's arms force a draw on her bow.

"Lunox…" Sense of relief underlined with sadness fill the air as Lunox and Belerick come to light, dread in the sight of the Tree of Life in near flames, gazing over the battered elves and empty bodies across their grounds, the King healing his wounded people as some wishing to drew their final breaths.

"We've lost Goddess, we've lost…" Echoes of cries and wales come and go as Belerick feels the everlasting force of the tree holding on for dear life as the flames drew ever closer. His feet walked across the ember soil as he comes closer to the tree, leaning ever so closely as his flower emits a gold crisp hue.

The sound of flutters come close to Belerick as Lunox glides towards him, look of lost on her face as the cries of souls still run across their sense.

"We came too late…" She cracks as her eyes come to close, leaving her head down as she leans on Belerick, steering into melancholy. Jump of movement startles her as his body walks closer to the wall of flames, sparks of embers starting to singe his branches.

"Thank you, friend, for everything you've done for me and to the people of this world, but now is where we part ways…" His body leaves along with his words as he walks into the flames, wearing the face of content as Lunox watches along with the elves, sharing one last look at her friend as he disappears from sight.

Branches sprout from the ground as they rise to tower heights, circling the tree as flames brush off against nature's shield, surrounding it in flames. Humbling to the sight of his choice, Belerick eyes set on the tree, sensing its will amidst the flames as his body begins to burn a blue glow, ash from his own body falling to the last ever hope.

"May you bloom, even against the wind...:"
