Chapter 9- Blade with a lightning speed(Part 1)

Marbon and his men hide in the woods. They sorround the camp.

"Wait for my signal." Marbon said.

Lapu Lapu pay a visit in Chou. "You yourself will lead your tribe in our trap."

"Again, I tell you. I have no idea on what you're talking about."

"We'll find out." Lapu Lapu left.

Marbon draw his weapon. "Attack!"

The whole camp was attacked by Marbon and his men. Blood was shed on the ground.

Lapu Lapu was alarmed. "What's going on here."

"We're under attack."

"What?"

"Lapu Lapu they're large in number!"

"Everyone! Get ready! We will fight back." Lapu Lapu wield his weapon.

"Fight back, or we will end his life." Marbon have Taraduk as shield.

"Taraduk!"

"Don't listen to him Lapu Lapu!"

"No Taraduk!"

Countless men arrived.

"Put all your weapons down, or I will kill him."

"All of you, do what he said."

"What do you mean Lapu Lapu? You want us to surrender?"

"Forgive me my people. But we need to do it."

They surrender their banner to Marbon. They have Lapu Lapu and his men tied up. They put them together with Chou.

"What happened?" Chou asked. "Who are this people?"

"They are rellik tribe, we fought them before and defeat them. Now they finally succeed on their mission." Taraduk said.

"They want my head. And I think this will be the end of my life."

"Don't say that Lapu Lapu! We won't allow them, we need you."

"Forgive us Chou, we accused you of what you are not."

"Don't mind about it Taraduk."

"You know why we don't trust strangers?" Uliton asked.

"Why?"

Uliton told Chou what happened. They help a stranger and welcome it on their camp. But it's only a spy from Marbon's tribe. They are onced attacked by Marbon but Marbon failed.

"That's the reason why. We become more careful everytime there's a stranger who passed by."

"You must know someone first before you conclude." Chou said.

Marbon arrived. "Well, look who is this."

"Marbon!" Lapu Lapu exclaimed.

"Yes, I am. After all, I finally captured you."

"I'll give you my life."

They're shocked as they heard this.

"Lapu Lapu no!"

"I'm willing to sacrifice myself for all of you my people." Lapu Lapu said. "I'll give you my life, please let my people go."

"hmm.. Well, take him!"

"No!"

They pick up Lapu Lapu and take him with them.

"No Lapu Lapu!" Taraduk shouted.

"We need to get out of there and save him." Chou said. "I have an idea."

They lure one of the guard to where they are. Chou acted as if he badly need help.

The guard approached. "What happened?"

Chou with full force headbutt him and he got knocked in the ground. "Uliton try to cut off the rope tied arround me."

They manage to escape. And they sneak around the camp. Chou found Lapu Lapu and the others who was capture.

"let's split up." Chou said.

Taraduk found Lapu Lapu. "Shhhh... I'm here to rescue you.. Please keep quite."

"I need something to cut this rope."

One soldier checked the place where Lapu Lapu is, when he was off guard, Taraduk struck him and knocked him out then took his dagger and cut the rope that binds Lapu Lapu.

"I need to find my weapons." Lapu Lapu said.

They sneak around and look for Lapu Lapu's weapons.

The soldiers attempt to lift Lapu Lapu's weapon but it was too heavy for them.

"I think the owner of this one is so strong."

"Yeah, and if he escapes, we will be in a serious situation."

"You're right." Lapu Lapu approached them behind.

Lapu Lapu retrieved his twin blades and bring war against them.

"Enemies are many and I am alone, but one slash I kill them all!"

His men take the enemy's weapons on their arsenal and used it against them.

"Attack!"

Lapu Lapu throw his twin blades and use it as a boomerang, hitting numerous enemies and killed them. Enemies rushed on Lapu Lapu.

"Fight! Along with my blade." he dashes towards and hit them.

Slashing, hacking and killing numerous enemies. Countless of them arrived. Lapu Lapu and his men gathered.

"Lapu Lapu, what will we do now? They are countless."

"March forward and fear nothing!" Lapu Lapu steps forward.

They rushed at him.

"Those, who come on my way, die!" he collide his twin blade and it becomes one heavy sword.

He hit it towards in the ground with a strong force of impact hits toward the enemies. Enemies who have contact with it got stun.

Lapu Lapu leap towards them and whirl his heavy sword, hitting lot of them. Everyone come across with Lapu Lapu's heavy sword become like grass pulled from the ground.

"Men, all of you, let's help Lapu Lapu!"

They rushed towards and fight along with him. Chou on the other hand come across with Marbon.

Chou point a finger on him. "I come here, to challenge you in a fight."

He swipe his nose with his thumb.

"Ohh.. How dare you to challenge me without any weapon?"

He looked down on Chou and mocked him.

"Give him a sword!" he ordered his man.

His man throw a sword infront of Chou.

"No thanks, I don't need that forged metal, for I already have my whole body as my weapon." Chou said.

"It's up to you, Prepare to die!" he strike Chou with his sword.

Chou able to dodge his attacks and counter him.

"Is that all?"

Chou outrages him and he attacked continually. Chou keep on pissing him off until he found an opportunity, with speed and power, Chou defeats him. Lapu Lapu on the other hand, with his men, wipe all the enemies out, the remaining of them tries to run but pursue by Lapu Lapu's men.

In a remote area in the Land of dawn, an ordinary families lived in the area away from civilization, including the family of Conrad an ordinary craftsman.

"Father, remember what you said? You promised that you'll give me a present in this day of mine.."

"Ohh, I forgot, wait here my darling."

Conrad take handicraft he made by himself just for his child and brought it to her.

"Wow.. Is it a princess?"

"Yes darling, I made it just for you."

The happiness of Conrad's daughter paint her face as they go to bed.

Conrad's wife rise early in the sunrise. She rise up and open the door to check outside. She notice a maiden sleeping nearby, she draw closer to her. The maiden has angelic face, as she woke up, she was surprised when she saw Conrad's wife.

"Are you alright?" She asked.

"ahmm..."

"Don't be afraid, my name is Ricia. What are you doing outside here?"

The maiden is quite for awhile. "I'm wandering around.. But don't worry, I will leave right away."

The maiden rise up and starting to step away.

"Wait, just come in our house for awhile to have some breakfast."

The maiden stops like a tree trunk standing in a long period of time.

"Don't be shy.."

Ricia took the maiden to their house and have a breakfast with them. "What is your name by the way?"

"Leandra." She answered in a soft voice.

"This is my husband Conrad, and this is my daughter Nila-"

"Hi!" Nila said in a friendly way.

"Where do you live?"

"I have no home and family, I'm just wandering around."

"Why?"

Nila told what happened in the past.

"I'm sorry to know that." Ricia said.

Conrad and Ricia looked at each other.

"You can stay here for awhile.."

"Is that true mother? So I have a big sister now.. Yehey.."

"Can I asked you a favor Leandra?" Ricia asked.

"What is it?" Leandra asked.

"Can you accompany me in the household chore? Also to take care of Nila.."

"Can we play also?"

"Don't worry, Im used in doing household chore." Leandra remebered the time when she's with Chou.

"That's good, now I won't be alone. I have someone to talk with."

Lapu Lapu and his men succeed in defeating the enemies, they have a celebration for their victory.

Lapu Lapu announced to all his people, "Today, we win the victory, without this man, all of us were dead now."

After the celebration, Chou prepare to leave and say goodbye to them.

"You can live here if you want Chou. Why shoudn't you stay here with us?" Taraduk said.

"Taraduk is right, I'll make you one of my officials in the camp." Lapu Lapu added.

"It's good to hear that, but I need to continue in my journey. Don't worry, I'll come back here someday to pay a visit."

"It's up to you Chou, still your welcome to this place. Come here anytime you want." Lapu Lapu said.

"Thanks to all of you! I will missed you." Chou said.

Lapu Lapu nodded. "Farewell great warrior."

The tribe say their goodbye to Chou. As he advanced, he looked back, seeing them from the distance gazing at him. Chou waved his hand the moved on.

Chou travelled a long distance. He reached in a town not known to him. A busy place where merchants are on their market. While Chou is walking, looking around hoping to see Leandra, a good looking guy walked along and they accidentally hit each other's shoulder. They looked on each other's eyes.

An old man drop something without his awareness.  Chou saw it.

"Hey! You drop something.."

The old man return and picked it. "Thank you young man.."

"You're welcome."

"Why should you come to my house for awhile. I'll prepare some food for you to show my gratitude."

The old man took Chou in his house. "My house not so big enough, I'm not rich, sorry because this is only what I have."

"No, it's ok.. I've been in the slum before so that I understand." Chou said.

"Well, have a seat for awhile, wait until the food is ready." The old man said.

Chou saw some paitings in one area of the house and amazed on it's creativy.

The old man noticed him staring on it. "Oh.. I never told you yet, I'm a painter by the way.."

"Really?"

"Yes, I can paint you later if you want.."

"Sure.. I want to see how you paint." Chou said.

"It's my pleasure to show my talent." He said, "You don't introduce yourself yet. What was name?"

"Chou.. I'm Chou."

"I'm Rando by the way.." He said, "Ohh.. I think I forgot some ingredients.. Can you take a look here for awhile? I'll just go to market and buy this ingredients."

"No problem. I will."

"Don't worry.. I'll be back right away."

In the busy market, Ricia bought some fruits and vegetables for their meal, together with Leandra and Nila.

"We used to go here to buy our food.. Their fruits and vegetables here are fresh. Believe me." Ricia said.

"That's true Leandra.. Just see it to yourself when when we have our meal." Nila added.

Rando is in hurry, bringing the ingredients with him. Because of being hurry, he come across with Leandra and accidentally hit her.

"Hey, have a look on your way! Are you blind?" Ricia exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, I need to be hurry.." Rando said.

"And look what have you done.. You hit my daughter.."

"I don't meant to do it.. I'm Sorry.."

"It's alright.. Don't worry.." Leandra said.

"Leandra?"

"Yes.. I'm fine don't worry.. You can go now.."

"Thank you ms."

Rando moved on. Rando got home with the ingredients.

"Pardon me for being little bit late.. How are you there?" Rando asked.

"I'm fine."

"Are you bored?"

"No, don't worry."

Rando mixed the ingredients to the food and wait for it to be cooked. "Just a minute, later on the food is ready."

"Who's that boy in the painting?" Chou asked.

"That? His my son.."

"Where is he now?"

Rando tell the whole story. His son was killed by a demon infront of him. Draining his life.

"Sorry to know that."

"I want to avenge for him, but I'm only an ordinary man, weak and vulnerable."

Meanwhile, a group of killers are roaming around the land of dawn. They're feared by many. Anyone who come across with them tremble with fear, but there's someone who was more feared than them.

The group of killers come across with this young man, he has a good looking apperance but behind that look, a killer instinct dwells. As sharp as his blade, with speed of light, a deadly attack will strike down his enemies.

"Look.. It's him!"

"Who?"

"No.."

By the speed of light, with the blade in his hand, he finished that fight as quick as thunder and left his enemies on their deathbed.
