Chapter 8- Meet the great Chief

Chou travelled far distance, his foot took him to an unknown place he's not familiar with.

A group of indigenous tribe sorrounds him. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"I'm just passing by." Chou said.

"Hmm.."

"Don't believe in him Taraduk! Maybe this is just a trap."

"No, I'm telling the truth." Chou said.

"Enough!" Taraduk attacked him.

Chou evade Taraduk's attacks. "Please believe me! I'm not an enemy."

The rest wield thier weapons and rushed.

"This is not good." Chou dodge one heavy attack of Taraduk.

Chou has no choice but to fight for himself. He beat some of them, but they are also skilled in fighting.

"Impressive, you're so good in fighting now take this!" Taraduk strikes Chou with his blade.

Chou dodge their attacks, until another large number of them arrived. Some aimed their arrows to Chou and this is almost his end.

"That's enough" The voice shouted.

They open the way for someone to walk in. A man with body tatoo arrived, carrying twin blades in his hand hands.

"We come across with this one.."

"Hmm.." He approached Chou and looked at his face.

"What do you want us to do with him?"

"Take him alive." The man said then turn his back and move.

"Let's go!" Taraduk grab him and proceed.

They take Chou and bring him to their camp, tie him up and guarded by some of their soldiers armed with blades.

"How are you my friend?" Taraduk asked.

"Let me go, please, I need to find her." Chou said.

"Who?"

"Leandra, I need to find her and return to Eruditio."

"Leandra? Hmm.." Taraduk said. "Then what? You will return with more troops with you and attack us?"

"Believe me! It won't happen. Let me go and I will leave this place."

"Hell no!" Taraduk said.

The same man approched them and then asked, "How is he?"

"He asked me to let him go, he said his looking for someone named Leandra, but I don't believe his statement."

The man approched Chou and asked, "Who are you?"

"I'm Chou, I'm looking for a girl named Leandra-"

"Lapu Lapu, don't believe in him!" Taraduk said.

"I'm telling the truth, but your men don't believe me." Chou said.

"Hmm.."

"I begged you, believe me.. I'm not an enemy."

"Not unless I'm conviced on what you said." Lapu Lapu left.

"You hear what the chief said." Taraduk followed.

At the night, when everyone is asleep, Chou looked at the night sky. "Our dragon god, help me."

Chou fall in a deep sleep. When all the tribe is awake, Taraduk checked on Chou, sleeping while bounded.

"Hey, wake up!" Taraduk use his foot to wake him up.

Chou slowly open his eyes and saw Taraduk standing infront of him.

"The Chief want to see you, so get up!"

"Why?"

"Stop asking and get up!" Taraduk pick him up and drag him.

He took Chou in the presence of Lapu Lapu and his men. "Lapu Lapu! Here is he."

Chou looked around, seeing them sorrounds him.

Lapu Lapu stood up and asked Chou. "Are you one of Marbon's men?"

"Marbon? Who is that?" Chou asked.

"Tell Me the truth and don't asked me back with question!" Lapu Lapu shouted.

"I'm just telling the truth! I don't even know who that Marbon is."

Taraduk Beats him.

"That's enough!"

Taraduk stops.

Lapu Lapu wield his blade. "Now, will you tell us the truth or I will fill this blade with your blood?"

"Even though you kill me, I swear that I'm telling the truth."

"Well, let me have your head role on the ground." Lapu Lapu lift his blade and prepare to cut of Chou's head.

"Wait!"

Lapu Lapu stopped. "Why Uliton?"

"I think we can use him." Uliton said.

"How?" Lapu Lapu asked.

"We can use him as bait to his companions."

"Hmm.. Good Idea Uliton." Lapu Lapu said. "Taraduk, put him back in his cage."

Taraduk put Chou back in hia cage. "How lucky you are this time."

"Thanks dragon god." Chou looked up in the sky.

The whole camp have no idea that someone in the woods is spying on them. The spy notice that they are off guard. He ran to the woods.

There's a camp of other tribes across the jungle.

The spy that watching Lapu Lapu's camp approach the leader of the tribe. "My lord, they're off guard, it's a big opportunity for us to attack them."

"Good."

He stood up and call the attention of his tribe. "Everyone! I have a good news to all of us."

"What is it our lord?"

"Lapu Lapu and is men is now off guard. Prepare the weapons! We will attack this time."
