6 Chapter 5- The mysterious woman

Chou is practicing his skills outside the house, his movements and agility, his strikes, speed and power. Leandra woke up and checked who's outside.

"Chou?"

"Ohh.. You're awaked."

"Yes.. What are you doing?"

Chou striking and kicking the air with a speed of light. "I'm practicing my skills. I used to do this daily."

Leandra sat in the large stone nearby while Chou continue his training.

"Will you hurt others with your fist Chou?"

"If it's needed. I will."

"Is that the way of yours?" Leandra asked.

The wind blow away one leaf from nowhere and it flew infront of Chou, he strike it with his fist as fast as the flash and it was torn apart.

"Boxing is not the way to hurt somebody, but in order." Chou lift his fist infront of his face.

"Who taught you?" Leandra asked.

Chou told her when he live in a slum, the time when he saved a mysterious monk that was chased. The monk is badly injured, he hid him and when the time the monk recover, he rewarded Chou and taught him a secret knowledge. The monk taught him an ancient fighting style known as ancient kungfu.

"I swore to him that I will protect the weak." Chou said.

"Where is he now?" Leandra asked.

"After we separated, he disappeared and I have no idea where he is now."

"I'm sure he will be proud of you Chou."

"Have some walk outside?" Chou asked.

"Sure."

Chou and Leandra went out, have some walk and enjoy the fresh air. Leandra looked around, witnessing the peaceful life the people.

"I wish it will be like this forever." Leandra said.

"What do you mean?" Chou asked.

"People have peace, no more wars and chaos."

"I wish the same too. But we all know that war and chaos is always there."

"I wish I'm able change everything." Leandra said. "Why did violence never end?"

"We cannot change everything, chaos is always there. Without war, there will be peace."

"We can have order without chaos. We can even have peace without any bloodshed.." Leandra said.

"But how?" Chou asked.

"Every life is precious, why we need to take it away from someone?"

"You cannot stop violence Leandra we need claw to fight against claw!"

Leandra become quite and stops arguing with Chou.

"Sorry if I offended you but I'm just telling the truth."

"I understand, you have your own belief."

As they walk around, Leandra saw a mysterious woman walking around. Seems like there's something she's looking for.

"Chou."

"Yes Leandra?"

"I'm tired, can we go home?" Leandra said.

"Okay.. Lets go."

Chou and Leandra got home, and Leandra's heart beat so fast. She cannot hide the fear in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Chou asked.

"Nothing.."

"Just tell me if there's something wrong so that I can help you."

Leandra looked at Chou with worries on her eyes, then looked away.

An attack broke out the peace. A monster attack Eruditio. All the Eruditio Rangers prepare themselves to fight and protect the city.
