Beyond Meets The Eyes

"Their gems, High Priestess." Malik presented the gems to the High Priestess and she took the small sack from him, impressed. 

They were in her cave room, the gems that designed the walls glimmering in their beautiful light. 

The High Priestess stood in front of him and Zalfon was by her side. 

"Exceptional, Malik. Is there anything you wish for?" She asked Malik who was kneeling in front of her and he raised his head at her words. 

"Whatever you want, High Priestess, is my desire." 

She smiled, her eyes filled with darkness that reflected no emotions. She moved swiftly around him, her fingers trailing his shoulders. 

He bowed his head once again in respect. 

"You falter me with your loyalty, General." 

At that moment, Ruki's words flashed in his mind but he discarded them immediately. 

His loyalty was to the High Priestess. Her desire was his and his existence was only to please her.
