1 Prologue

Mars Military Academy Class D-3

"...got it? Tomorrow you will be going through the integration, remember the main points stats, level, and equipment are not important, what's important are the titles. The integration world is made so that you could settle into the multiverse and gain some headstart over the already established world..."

Mr. White's voice droned out the small scuffles throughout the class, some people were whispering about tomorrow when they could finally stop taking compulsory classes with different excuses while others gossiped about different individuals.

"Hey, do you know Miss. Rem's family has already promised her 200 chances of character creation, and also if that fails, a chance to gain a rare hidden class shadow dancer?" A girl with a yellow ponytail whispered to her deskmate.

"Yeah, and Rick's family has promised..." I stopped listening to the gossip between the two girls and looked at my right wrist.

'Note' the company responsible for every technology nowadays had developed the I.V in the late 3000's. A chip implanted inside the right wrist replaced traditional phones and laptops to increase the quality of life.

An Email blinked on the blue screen that was floating over my wrist.

''' Sender- Mrs. Alice Blake- Lady Blake of Mars Alliance'''

I swiped to close my inbox and looked back towards Mr. White.

"...There are many things that will help and influence your chances to achieve better synchronization, and gain more rewards depending on your chances to break through the barrier, maybe enhance your abilities..."

I felt quite a few eyes drifting towards my direction, filled with pity, or ridicule. I ignored them and looked straight towards the teacher but my thoughts started wandering towards my predicament.

'Although humanity took the route of assimilating into the virtual world rather than dying, it didn't mean that we stopped trying to break the shackles of mortality, using gene manipulation to increase our cells tolerance to replication, cloning yourself and shifting your conscience to a younger body… maybe one-day humanity will create an immortal body and then those old B-grade monsters that have been living in the multiverse will once again come back to life.'

I shook my head and centered my thoughts, '...that is still centuries away, but unlocking the innate abilities of humans is still possible.' I clicked on the email that has been troubling me for the past few weeks.

'''Honey, Mom tried but your father is adamant about not wasting any more resources on you. Last week your sister was given the gene activation serum and she awakened the mystic eyes. I used all of my resources on getting you these 10 character creation tokens so try your best. I hope to hear from you soon, or at least talk to your sister.

Love you

Mom'''

*Sigh*

I slowly loosened my balled-up fists, re-read the mail, and ignored the notification telling me that the 10 character tokens have been registered to my name.

'How long has it been since I have talked to her...' I ignored the pang in my heart and stood up as the class got dismissed, I walked towards the training facility and swiped the card to gain entrance to the private training room. The left side of the preparation area's wall opened and a multitude of weapons appeared in front of me. Gripping the twin daggers I walked into the room. As the gravity increased by two-fold, weighing me down a clone appeared in front of me from the opposite wall.

'It's alright their path is different from mine...'
