The Undeath egg was shaking violently while being covered by Noah's divinity. If not for Noah's intervention the egg would've hatched already.

Cecilia noticed the divinity and asked, {Why are you stopping the egg from hatching?}

"It's an Abyss Hound." answered Noah.

The hatchling hadn't received a name, but its species was easy to confirm.

A soul born through Undeath skill carries properties of the parent souls as well as the Caster's soul, which in this case was Noah. Noah was realizing this fact only now.

"Do you know about Soul Erosion?" asked Noah.

Naturally, Cecilia was aware of the answer. She spoke, {It's a poison potent enough to kill Gods. But it's only found in Void and there are no methods to bring it outside.}

"Correct. Now another question, how is that poison created?"

A short silence ensued.

The Soul Erosion poison was a national secret known to a select few. It was one of the biggest mysteries. Other than the fact Soul Erosion was contracted by staying in Void for too long, nothing about its origin was known.

"Abyss Specters. It's an alien species which lives in Void. They are invisible, unintelligent, and the origin of Soul Erosion poison."

Noah revealed one of the biggest mysteries as if he were talking about tomorrow's weather.

He continued, "They latch onto souls inside Void and slowly transfer Soul Erosion poison from inside their bodies to the soul."

Cecilia gasped, understanding the consequences.

Soul Erosion poison was said to be capable of killing Gods. According to Noah's explanation, Abyss Specters created Soul Erosion poison inside themselves. It wasn't a unique ability but an ability belonging to everyone from the said species.

"It's okay if you don't believe…"

{No, I believe you.} Cecilia interrupted Noah.

She continued.

{What are you going to do if it attacks you after the egg hatches? If they can kill Gods then it isn't impossible for their hatchlings to attack their owner.}

Cecilia's voice was filled with concern.

Abyss Hound was not an Abyss Specter. But knowing both carried the name 'Abyss' Noah's choice to take precaution was correct.

"I'll give it a name. Since I'm the owner of the egg, giving it a name should make it somewhat submissive, I hope."

Noah stretched his limbs and readied himself to activate his skills at a moment's notice. He had prepared and checked his abilities before releasing the egg. This fact gave him a little assurance.

Noah could not suppress the egg anymore. Cracks appeared on its obsidian surface.

A shadow jumped out from the first crack. It grew rapidly and stood 8 meters tall by the end. The Abyss Hound had a humanoid figure, smooth skin and appeared no different from muscular and humanoid golem.

Noah noticed that it had no intention of attacking and sighed audibly. He spared no time and said, "You are Erebus."

Erebus tilted his head cutely. It didn't seem Erebus could understand human language yet. The giant humanoid shadow suddenly looked adoring to Noah.

Noah tilted his head and felt a sharp object graze his face. The object stabbed Erebus. The force carried Erebus off his feet and pinned him against a tree.

Noah jumped back swiftly.

He was a human, at least partially.

"Who are you?" Noah asked the intruder. Erebus was injured heavily but he was alive. 'He almost took out Erebus in a single attack. He might be stronger than Achilles.'

The intruder had two legs, two arms, a normal torso, and was wearing human clothes. Just… he had tentacles replacing his beard.

"I'll kill you first! I'll tear your limbs apart and kill you in front of that bitch!" The intruder shouted and attacked Noah's Psychokinesis wall which he erected at the last second.

BAAAAAAAMMM!!!

Noah felt his innards churn.

The wall made from Gravity Manipulation which could block a Lvl.50 swordsman attack easily was shattered without any resistance.

The sudden appearance of a new enemy shook Noah. However, he maintained his calm.

'He didn't use any skill. Did he create that much force with his stats alone? No, maybe he activated the skill before coming here. Who is, wait…'

Noah recalled the intruder's words.

You two cheated on me. I'll kill you in front of that bitch.
