Sigfried was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of attacks coming towards himself from all directions. 

He was capable of handling every single one of the attacks individually, but together it was extremely difficult. 

It was like a dungeon boss-fight, where a party fought off an end level boss by working together. 

Max was the principal damage dealer, his job was to inflict maximum DPS and he did exactly that with his fire powers. 

Using the Angi-Astra, his racial skill the Dragons Breath alongside Anna's dragon who covered him with flame attacks of his own, Max was the one person Sigfried was focused on taking out first because of the constant pressure he was capable of creating. 

Severus was the chief scout and defender. His job was to block any counter attempts by the enemy and ensure the safety of the long ranged fighters Anna and Asiva.
