Chapter 23 - Bad News

"Yes, you can log out," Abigail said. "But before that, there are a few things I need to tell you-"

Before Abigail could finish her sentence, Alex had already logged out and left his artificial body in front of Abigail. Abigail sighed and then Alex's artificial body suddenly moved on its own.

"I don't know why he's in such a rush, but there's so much important information I need to tell him," Abigail thought. "Well, for now, I need to control this body as well because I can't let this body to keep stay here."

Abigail walked away from the training field, followed by Alex's artificial body behind her. They went out of the royal palace while heading towards the south gate of Inarania, and entered the Forest of Misery.

Meanwhile, Alex emerges from his capsule and breathes a sigh of relief that he can finally return to the real world.

"Are you okay master Hong Dae?"

"Woah!!!"

Startled by Sebastian's voice, Alex accidentally gets back into the capsule. Sebastian swiftly pulled Alex out of the capsule and handed him a towel.

"I'm sorry for startling you master Hong Dae, I really didn't do it on purpose," Sebastian said as he bowed at Alex. "You can cut my salary as my apology."

Alex chuckled and then he said, "It's okay Sebastian," as he patted Sebastian on the shoulder. "You still have ten children and twenty-one grandchildren to support, so I'm not going to cut your salary."

Sebastian shed tears and said, "Thank you for your kindness master Hong Dae," as he hugged Alex.

"By the way, master Hong Dae, I actually wanted to say that there is bad news about the game you're playing," Sebastian said.

"What news is that?" Alex asked.

Sebastian turned on the television in Alex's room and there is news about Phantasm Prodigy. In the news, it appears that a lot of people are unable to log out of Phantasm Prodigy due to unknown reasons and it is rumored to be some kind of system malfunction.

Those who are unable to log out cannot get out of their capsule until they are forced to log out because they are in critical condition. It makes people feel angry, worried, sad, anxious, and many other kinds of emotions they felt.

"I was worried that the same thing would happen to master Hong Dae, but luckily that didn't happen," Sebastian said as he looked relieved.

"I think I know the cause of this problem," Alex thought. "Maybe they haven't finished their quest just like what happened to me."

Alex took his cell phone and opened the community forum of Phantasm Prodigy. He saw tons of people posting conspiracy theories about what really happened to Phantasm Prodigy.

However, Alex didn't care what those people said, instead, he started to write his own post.

[<Young Master>: If you are wondering how to solve the problem of not being able to log out from Phantasm Prodigy, then the answer is that you must complete your quest]

"I think this is enough," Alex thought.

[<Infamous Famous>: Oh, look at this dumbass, he gives general information as if he knows what really happened]

[<Wandering Wanderer>: I don't know if it will work but I will help my brother complete his quest soon]

[<Just Tom>: I think it's worth a try]

"Hmm... some of their reactions are bad and some are good," Alex thought. "I don't think I need to help them any more than this."

"By the way, Sebastian, what's on the menu for lunch today?" Alex asked Sebastian.

"Ah, it's fried rice with grilled ribs," Sebastian answered.

"Okay, then I'll go to the dining room now," Alex said.

"All right, we'll prepare it," Sebastian said.

Alex left his room and headed to the dining room while Sebastian followed behind him. Alex sat quietly at the dining table while waiting for his meal to be prepared not knowing that the post he left became a hot topic.

[<Wandering Wanderer>: It really works, I really thank you for the information that you posted earlier. Now my brother has successfully logged out from Phantasm Prodigy and we are on our way to the hospital for a check]

[<Just Tom>: Thank you, my friend was finally able to log out from Phantasm Prodigy, thanks to the information you posted earlier]

[<Pew Pew>: Wait, wasn't this guy the one who spent a lot of money on our Tora-Chan?!]

Alex's post continues to skyrocket on the community forum of Phantasm Prodigy. His post received more than three million likes, five hundred thousand comments, and one hundred thousand times shared.

A lot of people thanked Alex for the post he made and gave him compliments even though what Alex was doing was giving basic information about Phantasm Prodigy.

"Please enjoy the meal, master Hong Dae," Sebastian said as he placed a plate of fried rice with grilled ribs on the dining table.

Without saying anything, Alex enjoyed his meal. He savored every bite and chew as he valued the meal that was prepared for him.

Alex finished his meal and then returned to his room. He sat pensively on the bed while looking at the wall.

"Now, what should I do?" Alex thought as he looked at his capsule. "This trash game really makes me sick, should I throw it away?"

Alex leaned his back on the bed and then looked at the ceiling of his room.

"I think I'll play it again later, I really can't forget Abigail's face," Alex thought as he sighed.

Alex closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep without knowing what was going on inside Phantasm Prodigy.

Abigail and Alex's artificial body were already in the Forest of Misery, a forest that forms the border between Inarania and the Demon Empire.

Even so, the levels of the monsters in the early part of the forest were relatively low. However, It is rumored that the further into the forest, the higher level of monsters that will appear.
