Xin opened his mouth to say more but couldn't think of anything else to add. He wasn't charismatic, nor was he talkative, so he kept his voice shut tight.

On the side, Victor and Seraphim struggled to hold back their laughter. They knew that Lord Scrooge wanted to express something but failed miserably due to his silent nature.

On the side, Hilda rubbed her eyes, attempting to shake off the drowsiness from her system.

Meanwhile, Sylvan's excitement was still through the roof as he tried to peek behind the curtain while kneeling on the floor, attempting to catch a glimpse of Lady Satomi. 

While fidgeting here and there to take a peek, he muttered at Lord Scrooge, "Idiot, just because you tell her to believe in you, doesn't mean she'll do it. Maybe a quest would change her heart? Or perhaps me?"
