9 9: Meh, Why bother fighting him head on? Let the guards do their work

A young man who is wearing a piece of work out clothes made his way to the village Chief's House. His IGN was ThousandDeath, A famous Professional player from the previous Hot game, Life after death. ThousandDeath is one of the thousands of professional players who is invited to play the game by the producers. They are paid to experience the game if there is any malfunctions in the characters action like Unusual way of moving of a body, Way of walking and etc.

In other words, people like ThousandDeath is paid to find flaws is the game so that the producers can fix them. The more realistic the game became, The more people will be enticed to play Glorious Royal.

ThousandDeath Heard that the Village chief is giving missions so he immediately made his way there. When ThousandDeath entered the game, He first roamed the whole village hoping to get quests from various NPC's. While looking for a Quest, He found a flaw in the NPC's. Trying to strike a conversation with them is like trying to make a puppet talk. These guys are only programmed to talk when something triggered the lines within them. If a quest connected to them then you might be able to make then talk.

ThousandDeath was overjoyed because every flaw he found will give him money as a reward for finding it. Like who would want to talk to a person smiling in front of you but not talking, It's creepy you know.

When ThousandDeath reached the Front gate of the village Chief's House, He noticed the figure sitting atop the tree 8 Meters away from the Village Chief's House. He noticed that this person was staring at the village chief. He also caught the strange gazes are flashing at the person atop the tree.

ThousandDeath decided to ignore this guy.

'Another guy trying to act cool just to attract girls. Sigh , Instead of wasting time there, Why don't you just accept the Village Chief's quest to level up your self then you might hooked some girls with that!'

After a few while, It was ThousandDeath's turn, When he was about to talk, He noticed that the person on top of the tree moved. He caught the agile movement of this person and was surprised.

'This guy is a pro'

ThousandDeath Said to himself.

The person is wearing a worn out clothes why a rusted katana was hanging on the man's waist. The man was smiling lightly while making his way to the village chief.

The players waiting in line was displeased by the man's action. They have been waiting for hours but this person is trying to cut in lines!

"Who is this man?"

"Hmmp, He's trying to be cool up there earlier and now he's cutting line? Watch me beat this man to death!"

The place suddenly became noisy by this man's brazen action. The players started cursing and complain while some players started to leave their positions and walked towards Sebastian while cracking their fists.

Sebastian saw this but decided to ignore it because he have something more important than quarrelling with this guys .

Like usual, Rudolf didn't show any changes and was still smiling there brightly. If given more intelligence, He might frown already if he saw Sebastian cutting in lines.

ThousandDeath Observed this man's action and was confused. He know that cutting in lines will not trigger any negative responses from the NPC . He decided to tell the producers that they have to fix this flaw because this flaw can affect the order and peacefulness of a place if an NPC will just watch players kill each other.

He watched the man stand in front of Rudolf And saw the man sneer.

Like usual, Rudolf started his line and was prepared to ask the man to kill wolves to prevent them from eating Lopez's Livestocks when ThousandDeath saw the man put is right hand to the hilt of his katana and the man's next action shocked the surrounding players.

The man Pulled the katana upwards and slashed at Rudolf vertically. Rudolf finally showed some reactions and his eyes were surprised when Sebastian raised his katana high up in the air.

The blade slashed Rudolf's right shoulder and Rudolf groaned in pain. The NPC's reaction is so realistic that the players thought that Rudolf was a player.

After recovering from the pain, Rudolf yelled at Sebastian for what he did and was more enraged when he saw Sebastian smirking while flicking his katana to the side, Getting rid of the blood sticking to it.

In Glorious Royal , To differentiate the status of an NPC to a player, The producers Created A small ball on top of an NPC. Green Ball meant that the NPC is friendly towards a player while yellow meant neutral while red meant Hostile while Black means Extreme Hatred.

Before Sebastian slashed at Rudolf, The NPC's status was Green, meaning, he is friendly towards but when Sebastian attacked him, the once green ball started to change to yellow meaning, Rudolf is now neutral and when a player received a Neutral NPC's quest and completed it, He will only be able to get half of the rewards of it.

Sebastian ignored his question and Slashed at Rudolf once more but this time, Horizontally.

Village Chief's status was revealed when Sebastian strikes at him once more and His status towards Changed from Neutral to Hostile. When Sebastian saw this man's status, He couldn't help but click his tongue.

'With my Currently strength, Defeating someone at this level is like a mantis trying to stop a rushing Chariot. Thankfully, I have that method!'

Sebastian didn't plan on killing him with his own hands but what he wants is to bait this man to expose himself and let the village guards to handle him.

"Young man! Your getting to my nerves! How dare you attacked me, The great Rudolf!"

Even though Rudolf was fuming with rage, He isn't moving to from his place and just started cursing at Sebastian.

"What? You dont want to fight? Heh, What a disappointment. I heard that people of the dark faction is brutal and merciless but didn't expect them to be a pussy"

Sebastian's taunt snapped the NPC's last reasoning. He roared and tore his own clothes while his body started showing changes. His muscles expanded Twice the normal state it was before and black smoke can be seened oozing out of his body.

From the scene where Sebastian raised his sword and slashed at Rudolf to Rudolf's transformation, The surrounding players still can't get out of their shocked and was having a hard time absorbing what have just happened.

ThousandDeath Was the most bewildered among the onlookers because it was hid first time seeing such a brave and daring man.

Sebastian merely smiled at this man's ranting and thought to himself, ' Meh, Why bother fighting head on with this guy? Just let the guards do their work'
