Day -5 : The Introduction

Hi my name is Edward Eldas. I used to play games when i was small but as I got older I've lost the time to play them due to my job but now that I am receiving vacation time I thought I should revisit my childhood by playing games. Although I won't truly be able to visit my childhood due to the growth of technology. The days of playing games by sitting in front of a flatscreen are behind us. A few years back VR came out, it was a massive success due to the tech demo, the console was able to fully bring you into the game and allowed you to be completely immersed in the game you were playing, you could smell the grass, feel the breeze, and see the blue skies. The games, (if it could be called that) that came out with it were only as good as the people that made it. Most of the games that came out with it were more like the tech demo, with no full scale games, they were mainly just simulators like truck driving racing and normal cooking and a few fps with little movement. Most of the information came from some online thread. But today a new game comes out called "Elysium". Not much is known about the game it was announced last month out of nowhere by a top game developer there are ads everywhere on billboards, TV commercials, online ads, and funny enough milk cartons (who drinks from milk cartons anymore). From what I've seen and heard from online threads is that the developers haven't release a game since the VR came out. It seems that their stock have gone down by a lot due to the long silence. The company have been hyping up the game saying "it's a game never seen before", "the next generation of VR gaming" I believe it, looks like this is the only game they've been working on for the past few years. The beta was up and finished 2 months ago. Since the game has been announced the people that were in the beta, gave their thoughts on the game. All of the have been praising the game and giving out information. From what I can tell it's an MMORPG, VRMMORPG to be exact it turns out there are different classes, races, monsters and and magic (sounds like a light novel now that I think about it). I used to play rpgs when I was small so it looks like I'll enjoy this game once it comes out (insert smiley face).
