1 The start

Beep Beep Beep!

Kai Fubuki a freshman in high school (who typically lacks both motivation and discipline for school) throws himself out of bed in a hurry.

"I will be number one this year" declared Kai, enthusiastically rushing to the bathroom. He worked fast to try and get as much done before he had to leave for school, he wanted to make a big breakfast to celebrate the new school year.

He quickly took a shower and changed into the clothes he bought the day before for back to school shopping he wanted to look stylish so he took extra care in the cloths he picked out. Now putting them on for the first time he realized just how well they fit him, for the first time in a while he thought he looked pretty cool.

Kai would never be considered popular by any means since he had almost no friends and the ones he had he never really hung out with. He knew why though it's because he didn't really socialize in school before now, up to this point school itself felt like a bunch of unnecessary work he's smart though so he could pass without putting in extra effort but this year was different this year his grades would be recorded so he had to do his best.

all that Kai needed to chop was potato's and green onions, cooking is second nature for Kai since his dad is almost always gone for work and his mom died when he was a baby. He's been doing pretty much everything by himself including shopping, he didn't mind though actually he was happy he got so much free time and could do what he wanted with it he even started working out. For a second while frying his potatoes Kai thought about how most parents would be celebrating there kid's first day of high school but he stopped himself there he new his dad worked tirelessly and it couldn't be helped. Kai finished cooking he made 2 big breakfast burritos and a side of potato's that he fried Kai always new he could eat a lot but his dad was on another level, occasionally they would eat together when Kai's dad had time and he always asks for at least twice this amount and doesn't ever even look fazed at the end. after he finished his meal he washed his dishes like always and started heading out. He was riding the bus for the first time since he was always close enough to the school to walk, Kai was nervous since he didn't travel much he had only been in a moving vehicle tree times to his memory the first when he and his father moved abruptly in around second grad, the second was when they took a road trip about 8 months ago and the most recent time was a week ago when his father suddenly decided to let him drive for the first time Kai was equally shocked and terrified at the prospect of driving since he had hardly even been in a car before but his dad seemed excited by the idea of teaching his son how to drive so Kai went along with it, they only drove around a parking lot but Kai was shocked at how easy it was. The bus pulled in to its stop interrupting his thoughts, he suddenly felt a rush of excitement as he looked around he saw that the rest of the students were completely unfazed by this, he decided it wasn't as big of a deal as he made it out to be and started to relax a bit. As he entered he saw rows of seats that looked like they where meant to hold 2-3 students, he found an empty seat and sat down waiting for the bus to start moving again. after a while they turned a corner and could see a huge school building that had to be at least 3 times bigger then his Jr. high. as he walked in he decided he needed a map so he left to find the front office as he walked he was remembering his schedule that he had carefully picked out a few months before, he remembered that he had 8 class periods total 4 on a day's 4 on b day's same as in Jr. high his four for today was, English, dance, history, and art in that order.

He found the front office without difficulty as it was currently being crowded by students. He eventually made it to the counter an asked for a map, the person at the counter told Kai that there was no map and quickly explained that there was a number for each classroom along with a letter assigned to each hallway and the trailer that simply had the letter t. Kai took out a schedule that he had printed the night before and saw the numbers next to the name ang teacher for that class, he currently had English trailers room 154 Kai easily found all of his classes for the rest of the day. The bell rang and school was over Kai quickly reviewed his day and decided he had a pretty fun first day of school, although he didn't talk to too many new people he still felt like he had a successfully day. He decided to go to the bus stop right after, he made it to were the bus had dropped him off in the morning. Now seeing that there was not one but now 8 busses parked there he started to panic, after a minute or two of pacing he remembered seeing the number 750 on the side of his bus and was relieved to see a bus with the corresponding numbers. As the bus stopped Kai was glad to see he had been dropped off in the correct area and quickly started walked home. Kai turned the corner of his street and instantly spotted his dads car in the drive way now exited Kai ran the rest of the way home, Kai burst thru the door expecting to see his dad on the sofa but ended up waking in to a seemingly empty house, then out of the corner of his eyes he saw a figure in the doorway as soon as he turned around he heard a loud boo! Kai jumped back in fear only to see his father laughing hysterically, Kai after the initial shock started laughing as well happy to see his dad again so soon, they talked for hours and even had an arm wrestling competition witch Kai lost. that afternoon Kai and his father decided to go out to eat as a celebration for making it to high school, they chose a restaurant within walking distance. Kai quickly decided he would eat more than his dad since it was a buffet style restaurant. Kai grabbed 5 slices of pizza, a big plate of spaghetti, and 3 rolls as he proudly sat down at the table he and his dad selected, only to find out that his dad had easily twice as much as him. "it only counts if you eat it all" Kai bellowed with a slight smile. "oh don't you worry I'll be grabbing seconds" said kai's dad with a sly grin on his face. while chowing down on his food Kai couldn't help but notice a man on the other side of the room staring at him, Kai has shiny silver hair and as this is a very uncommon hair color Kai new that it wasn't to weird for people to occasionally stare at it so he chose to ignore it. after finishing his food Kai quickly saw his dad had also finished but as Kai was about to go back for a second plate his father approached him and told him they had to leave immediately and that it was something to do with his work. Kai tried to retort but he could tell his father was serious. when they got home it looked as though his father was nervous about something as he went around locking all the doors in the house. "what's wrong is somebody here?" asked Kai with a worried expression. "no it's just on my last work trip I got robbed and I'm just getting a litter nervous" answered Kai's father with a soft tone. Kai new his father was lying but decided to trust in him and leave it at that. Kai went to his bed and tried to fall asleep but he couldn't this often happened to Kai but he could tell that tonight it was much worse probably due to his fathers worries but Kai new he couldn't think to much about that right now as he had school in the morning and he wouldn't let himself miss school anymore. After an hour or so he decided to get up for some water but when he stood up he felt a breeze on his back from his window. instantly he new something was wrong so he ran to the corner of his room bending over to grab a wooden sword he new was lying there he turned on the light while holding the sword in front of him, he new it would do nothing agents a knife or gun but at least it was something, now with the light on looking around the room he couldn't see anyone but he new it wasn't his imagination because his window was swung wide open, he even remembered to lock it that night. Kai slowly crept to his door paying close attention to his room the he quickly turned around to open the door but in that instant he felt a towel rap around his nose and mouth as he breathed in he felt his mind slipping away but he suddenly remembered a spy movie where they used Chloroform to knock people out, he started holding his breath trying to stay awake he let his body go limp and as soon as the hand was lifted from his mouth Kai let out a petrifying scream right then he felt a hand slam the back of his neck and everything went black.

Aron (Kai's dad) was in the kitchen when he herd a scream coming from Kai's room Aron grabbing a knife from the counter and burst through the door to Kai's room, in an instant the knife was skidding on the ground and Aron's hands were pressed behind his back as he fell to the floor. Looking around the room all he could see was Kai unconscious and a dark figure at his back after a second he heard the voice of another person in a language he didn't recognize, right after he got slammed in the back by a hard object and he felt his mind slip away.

Aron now in a deep sleep started too remember what it was like long ago. it was a sunny day and for Aron it was the happiest day of his life as he was awarded the title of admiral only a year after graduating from the academy. Having come from a poor family Aron new that since he didn't have the talent for magic he would half to carve a name for himself as a knight knowing that he was naturally strong and had the talent for ki he gave it is all and trained to this point now he would be assigned his first mission. Aron now walked to the meeting room exited to see what his first mission was going to be, but as he entered the room his excitement quickly turned to fear as he saw all the strongest people not only the kingdom but the surrounding kingdom's as well. Aron quickly knew that this meant his first mission would be a very deadly one. the meeting had begun and one of the highest ranking knights in the army stood and gave a speech "many of you know about the law throughout the 4 kingdoms, this is a brief explanation for those who don't know so I won't get to in depth. Basically this is a law made by the goddess Terra stating some races are prohibited from interbreeding punishable by law and sometimes even death. Aron knew this law well since when he was a knight Aron would study all types of different things and this was one of them, this law stated that specific races would be punished for interbreeding with varying punishments for different races although that didn't apply for every race there where some races like demons that weren't allowed to interbreed at all. while the punishment usually only applies to the parents and in special cases like **** it would only apply to the person at fault. Although this is usually the case there are some instances were the Childs existence is considered punishable by death, such as any interbreeding between the four races of werewolf, vampire, angle, and demon if this happens and a child is to be born the parents and child will be executed upon child's birth. While all of this is extremely tragic and Aron could never agree with these laws what any goddess says is final and Aron knew that there must be some reasoning or logic behind it. the knight continued with his speech "we recently discovered a cult built around the idea of creating the 'perfect being' as they call it one with the blood of every known race on the planet, it seems they are kidnaping people of different races and using them for this propose". The knight rose his voice and had an angry tone and the entire room could tell he was passionate about this, "these deeds are not only highly illegal but also cruel. I cannot let these people continue getting away with these misdeeds, the question is are you with me!" the man shouted and everyone in the room roared along including Aron who was also infuriated by the misdeeds of the cult. After one month of carefully planning and scouting they had formulated a plan, it seems as though the base was in the center of the boundary's between the Obourus Dynasty and the Aihedia Empire. it seems as thought the cult has been brewing for a while and astoundingly managed to grow to a size rivaling one of the great nations the biggest surprise is the fact that they went unnoticed up until a few month's ago. The plan is to hold nothing back and to gather an army from all of the great nations and even from some of the smaller surrounding nations just in case, the plane was to station all the army's surrounding the fortress and commence a simultaneous all out attack from all sides while the army snuck in a team of strong knight directly into the fortress to save the victims and kill the boss and any other cult members they see this was the team Aron was on. Everything was set and Aron was ready the crystal in his pocket made a buzzing sound "the signal everybody charge" Aron roared. An army ran out of the base trying to defend from both sides while Aron and his group were making there way through a secret entrance they had carved into the mountain side. they entered a hallway in the center of the occultists fortress, it felt like a massive labyrinth but they had a scout sneak in and map out the entire area beforehand so they made there way through easily and found the leaders room. They burst through the room to find countless guards protecting there leader but there group was skilled and even though the other side had numbers they were no match. After an hour of a one sided battle there lay a heap of dead body's in front of the knights and in there group stood 14 out of the original 15 highly skilled knights the leader fell to his knees yelling "you all will pay for your sins the divine one will kill you all" the knights paid no mind and immediately captured the leader. The leader and a few other guards were interrogated thoroughly to find were the remaining victims were. Aron was one of the knights who were assigned the task of finding the victims. For days this continued and Aron was depressed to find that all victims who were found were immediately blood tested and if they were of the right races they were executed, this horrified Aron he hated that he had to send innocent people to there death because a god said so but there was nothing he could do. After the third day they were told to abandon the base and anyone still trapped inside so today was Aron's last day there and he was glad to be rid of the depressing place, he and an acquaintance named Nes were doing there final parameter check when Aron saw what looked like a broken brick as it stuck loosely out from the rest of them, Aron pushed the brick back and then the wall next to him started to shake and move reveling a hidden passageway. Aron walked in carefully with Nes right behind as he entered the room he saw a pair of a man and women in the corner shaking as Aron saw this he stood back and said in a soft voice "we come in piece we are nights of the Obourus dynasty we have come to save you from the clutches of the evil cult" as he said this he saw relief flash over the eyes of the woman then Nes spoke with a deep voice "would either of you happen to have blood of two of the great races known as werewolf, vampire, angle, or demon?" the women now spoke fast happily answering the question "yes in fact I happen to be a half demon half vampire while my husband over there is half angel half werewolf" in an instant the mans head was rolling on the floor while the women had a blade through her stomach a confused expression on her face Aron who had no time to react before was now in-between the Nes and the women with a sorrowful expression "why I know they would get the death sentence anyways but why they've done nothing wrong" said Aron shaking "I new you were a softy you could never handle this type of thing that's probably why the king didn't tell you but he ordered all of the elite knights to kill anyone of mixed grate blood types so I'm just doing what I was told" said Nes with a smirk Aron wanted to appose but he new anything further would make him an enemy of the Obourus dynasty "fine but at least let me here her final words and put her down peacefully" said Aron sorrowfully "fine just remember to get your lazy ass back here before we leave you behind" said Nes while walking out of the room. Aron knelt down and tried to speak words of comfort if only to make himself feel better but then the woman stopped grunting and looked Aron in the eyes "please you're my only hope save my child he is in the cupboard above the stove please he doesn't deserve to die save him" cried the women then in the softest voice Aron could muster he assured the woman that he wouldn't let anything happen to the baby and raise it as his own. He hid the child in his baggage escaping and making it to were he was staying hiding the baby in his home, he then sent a message to the one person he felt like he could trust the one person actively protesting the persecution of the mix bloods ironically the ruler of the demons Satan. After a week of hiding and lying to the army he finally got a message back 'this is the ruler of the demons Satan after deciding to help you I will need your full trust and cooperation if you and the infant want to live, tell your commander you would like to resign to the world of the simple for a peaceful life due to the stress from the grate battle, this Tuesday come to the west gate with the infant and make sure you are not followed'. "ok I have four days I need to be fast, but in the meantime I need a name for you don't I" stated Aron happily "let me think, oh I got it how about kai" Aron asked happily 'gaga" kai replied "ok kai it is then" stated Aron proudly. that afternoon Aron resigned from the knights as promised and had his powers taken away since he stated he was going to the simple world. It was now the day of and Aron was fast he left early in the morning with everything he would be able to bring with him to the simple world, the simple world was a world that has different natural laws then those of the magic world in the simple world the law were easier to understand and they were unchanging making it possible to create things highly complicated, although if you took any technology from the simple world and put it in the magic world it would cease to function due to the changing in laws. the simple world could be considered the other half to the magic world although almost no one from the simple world knows of the magic world.
