Bernad stood inside the shop and took a deep breath, watching the two people coming and leaving like that. This shop used to belong to the old witch Esmeralda, and he was sent here at a bargaining price by the Dragon Prince. As an obedient servant, he did what was told.

The intentions of those people were not good, and Bernad knew that very well. Everything has been going well till now, but that trouble has started. But the main problem was that he could not pass the news to either the one who owned this shop or the dragon prince. Due to the upcoming war, the atmosphere was getting intense. The king has made sure that not a single soul moves unnecessarily in the whole kingdom. The people who held grudges against dragons were ready to go to war, but those who wanted a peaceful life were trembling in fear of what was upcoming. In such a situation, Bernad didn't know what he should do.
